This place is one of my favorite coffee places around! It's charming inside the store and the views of the water are stunning! They have unique and tasty specialty coffees (I love the Salty Salor). Their pastries are equally as delicious. The staff members are always quick and kind. Grab a coffee and go look at the water! Bonus, they honor military discounts!

Unauthorized tip! If you use credit or debit there be sure and check your statement! I got a $5 pastry to go. Statement showed $2.50 extra after tax. That’s a 50% unauthorized tip!Buyer beware! I called and spent very much time waiting to verify before a refund was offered.. The missing principle here is of honesty. Jonathan, the manager insisted “no one would do that we all know each other here. It was a mistake- they must have hit the wrong button “ and no apology was offered!

What a cute little coffee shop. The employees were friendly and they have lots of freshly made pastries that are made on site. It was definitely worth the visit and I would recommend if you're looking for a quaint coffee shop. Also have a small souvenir area that may be useful for some people.

At first glance this little shop looks separated food cooked on one side and coffee on the other but both work together smoothly the sights of all the banked goods is a nice touch with the noise of coffee in the back ground the place bottom line up frobt is nice I had a wild berry smoothly that tasted great Savanna noticed it separating from across the sitting area and offered to remake it amazing customer service and friendly customer service

Best scones, coffee and drinks are delicious and the staff is fantastic. Never had a bad experience here. A fun place to meet up with friends or just hang by yourself. Very much love this cute coffee shop.

Stopped in here yesterday, first time for a drink. Was really impressed with the quality of the milk foam texture. So very few places know how to steam milk the right way. Velvety foam, no big bubbles. It makes drinks taste so much better! Great job Topside. And on top of that, one of the baristas knew what a traditional macchiato was. I'll be back for sure.

A pretty coffee shop with a cheerful atmosphere. Delicious baked goods made in-house, and local, organic Ice Cream Social ice cream. The real selling point, however, is the location in charming downtown Steilacoom with views of the water. The only parking is either street-side or in a pay lot on the other side of the block, but a short walk through a quaint, old-timey town is a small price to pay for an outside seat with a view!

Great service!! I couldn't decide what to get, and they recommended the best-iced tea (Mad Passion) and a berry bar, which were so good. Perfect combo for the first nice day of summer.Parking: Paid parking lot in lower lot and free parking under building.Kid-friendliness: Cashier was so nice to child in front of me!

We came here because the ferry was full and we had 2 hours to kill. The staff was cheerful, responsive and helpful. They took our order quickly and had our food ready by the time we paid for it and our drinks to our table as we were sitting down. They also came after 10 minutes to ask if we wanted our drinks warmed up - they were in large mugs! The have light food, such as paninis, scones, muffins, ice-cream and breakfast sandwiches as well as all of the specialty coffees and teas.

Topside Coffee Cabin was on our list of cafes while visiting the Tacoma area and it didn’t disappoint! The bright and homey atmosphere and friendly staff make you immediately feel welcome. The coffee is perfect and baked goods are delicious. Top tip: order custom-made scones for your next event! We had raspberry white chocolate and lavender lemon - I’d recommend both. Topside is the perfect place to relax before or after exploring the historic small town of Steilacoom and nearby Sunnyside Beach Park. We’ll be back next visit.

This locally owned coffee shop is a must visit when you're in the Steilacoom area. They have a wide variety of tea options in addition to the typical coffee bar choices. The shop is small but well designed with sufficient seating choices for individuals or small groups with peeks of the Puget Sound in the distance. I'm always tempted by their carefully curated selection of gift options. The staff are amazing, friendly and great at recommendations. I've never been able to get away without picking up a scone which are made on location. There is nearby street parking on the sound side of the building as well as a small parking garage lot underneath.

Such a cute cute coffee shop! My father in law was excited to show it to us when we went in vacation and ended up going twice in a row. The service was wonderful, we were treated like we were regulars! The baked goods were awesome! We got a scone and a breakfast sandwich and they were both amazing!
