When we travel to Stehekin, we always go to the pastry shop. The food is delicious, and the cinnamon rolls and pecan rolls are huge! We love their sandwiches, too. The cookies are also amazing. This is a must stop when you are here.

We stopped by here during out camping trip in Stehekin.I loved the atmosphere and the service! My friends tried their coffee and a brownie. I tried the mixed berry pie - it was pretty good! Not my favorite pie; it didn’t wow me. But, I think I’ll go back to try more of their offerings!

Fantastic bakery, my friend brought me here and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere inside was very cozy and the staff were very friendly and polite. The mushroom and pesto croissant was phenomenal, so were the baked desserts and everything else we got. Would definitely recommend stopping by this place (and the gift shop) if you ever find yourself in Stehekin!

The only place to go.Literally, there is no other place in town to get good coffee, fresh pastries, sandwiches, quiche, and other things you might want for breakfast or lunch. Fortunately, it's an excellent option. Food quality is great, fresh baked every morning, and you can enjoy it inside in the rustic space, or under the shade trees when the weather is good, using one of the available Adirondack chairs or picnic tables.A lifeline for all Stehekin visitors, and what a great one.

Agreed on all fronts. Cinnamon roll, sticky bun, lime bar, wow.The sticky bun we got, was easily 4" x 4" x 3".Or for the more evolved majority of the world 10cm x 10cm x 7.5cm.

The online menu indicates non-certified gluten-free items may be available. When I visited, the only items available were wheat-free, and there seemed to be confusion regarding wheat vs. gluten.

My honest advice is go to the bakery early on your trip and then visit often. it is impossible to not give this bakery 5 stars. Even in a busy metropolis this bakery would stack up well but considering this bakery is situated in what feels like the edge of the world the flour, butter, and yeast are masterfully pared with savory and sweat flavors. The bakery is one of the few options for food in Stehikin so this place could have just served “calories” and we would have had to eat here but the instead they produce a cornucopia of great rustic eats. Pastries, sandwiches, soups espresso drinks and ice cream deliver flavors and options for everyone.

After backpacking the Lakeshore trail, a sticky bun and cinnamon roll never tasted so good! What a fun experience in Stehekin - highly recommend!

If you're like me and you've been driving a small boat up lake, sleeping at wonderful boat-in campgrounds and living off Trader Joe's noodle soup bowls, this place feels kind of like heaven. Sure you can see what has to be canned ingredients to be served at this remote of a locale, but the love and care that goes into everything on the menu is obvious. To get here, rent a bike at the lodge in Stehekin or snag a bus ride for a few dollars from the lodge. This place can be super crowded during peak season for the PCT. Worth the wait. Bring cash.

I ate here for a couple of days and got to try a cookie, the quiche, a scone, and the biscuits and gravy breakfast and I can say that this place really is that good. I didn't have a cinnamon roll in me this trip so I guess I'll just have to come back!

The hype is real. Shuttles in and out from High Bridge stop here. An easy two mile walk from the lodge. Cheese danishes had raspberries and were to die for.

All of the food is awesome and the employees are as friendly as can be. About 2 miles from Stehekin Landing and well worth the stop anytime you're in the area.

Decided on a whim to spend only Saturday night in Stehekin, and in the rain. I pretty much got off the ferry, walked here to eat, set up camp, slept, ate here again, and then left Stehekin. Not a wasted weekend by any stretch. I debated leaving my tent at camp and packing my bag with just pastries, but maybe next time...

We enjoyed their pizza. I thought the sticky bun was way too sweet. Large variety of food options and you could eat breakfast, lunch and maybe dinner here. They run out so go early for best selection.

Visited there yesterday, I have not been there in about 15 years. I miss the Stehekin Bakery with all their fresh bread and cheese rolls. To bad it turned so commercial 😞

Well not only is this the BEST bakery in Stehekin, it is your ONLY choice. This quint town with 85 permanent residents is remote and so lovely. We had breakfast there twice and lunch once when we were in Stehekin and enjoyed the croissants, coffee, cinnamon roll, and also had a great sandwich. The flowers in the garden are amazing and very friendly service there.

Amazing strawberry rhubarb pie, had it 13 years ago. Family still talks about it! Desperately going to try to recreate it 😍 maybe call and get some tips from the pros themselves.

Quiche was incredible. Artichoke, tomato bacon was divine nearly. And I typically don't like that. Cinnamon rolls are fabulous. Do a pastry with fresh fruit, coffee and your set.

Pizza, sandwiches, soups, salads, ice cream, and tons of fresh pastry and breads ... And it's all out in the middle of nowhere. An oasis of delicious food! Famous cinnamon rolls and sticky buns the size of your face... This is a must stop for anyone visiting Stehekin.

This place is a gem. Clean, friendly, and cozy. Although it can be crowded on the weekend around lunchtime, everyone knows it's worth the wait. The sandwiches, salad, pastries and pizza were fresh and delicious. We picked up two pieces of day-old pizza that tasted better than fresh pizza at the other end of the lake. Amazing! A great place to stop, on any visit.

Hands down THE BEST bakery we've been to in the world thus far. They have the most delicious desserts, sticky buns, cakes, biscuits & gravy & pastries that all contain the perfect amount of butter, sugar, & savory ingredients. The staff are very upbeat & seem happy to be where they are.

What's not to like about the Pastry Co?On top of their regular fixings (cinnamon buns, sandwiches, quiche, coffe, etc) I special ordered a small chocolate cake for my partner's birthday! I have to say the Chocolate/chocolate they made was one of the best I'd ever had!Thank you for everything!

Absolutely phenomenal! The variety of pastry, sweets, and sandwiches makes this place a reason to get up lake. Gluten free chocolate chocolate chip sandwich was amazing. Definitely a must visit location.

Listen, all bakeries are doing the good work of turning flour, sugar, fruit and eggs into pure joy, but this bakery is absolutely the very best at it. 5 hours of ferry rides for a cheese danish is not as silly as you imagined.

This is a must visit attraction of Stehekin. There is a shuttle from landing to bakery and you can also rent a bike which is an easy almost flat 2 mile ride. Delicious pastry and sandwiches we never miss every time we visit which is at least once a year.

Terrific people, pastries, ice cream - try some with a shot of espresso, sandwiches etc. Try to get there when the buses are not. Nice walk from the landing or an easy bike ride. Makes a good departure point for further explorations: Apple orchard, Rainbow Falls, old two room school house, trail heads, etc.

Best bakery ever… I wish I had some of their recipes honestly because I just love to bake. Like nothing beats this place hands down. Try as much as you can!
