I enjoy the staff and how well the pharmacy works together. It has a home town ambiance and quite a few good deals. I’ve been going there for almost 30 years and will heartily recommend it.

I’ve used the Riteaid pharmacy in Stanwood for years. I’m a cancer patient and it’s critical I get my medication. I ordered my meds on their automated system. After a week I hadn’t heard anything. I called to check the status and I was told my order was in the system and they couldn’t figure out why it hadn’t been filled. After another week I still and not heard back, so I checked in and it still hadn’t been filled. Now it’s been almost three weeks. I was told it would be filled by the next day. I went in the next day and it still wasn’t filled. They told me I could come back in an hour. I explained to the clerk how important it was for me to have my meds and their automated system needed to be near flawless. I asked her to pass my message to the pharmacy manager when she returned. The acting pharmacy manager told me if I didn’t like it I could go somewhere else. I now use the pharmacy at QFC and they are wonderful.

Why is it 75% of the time if I try to call your pharmacy it goes to a tow company business in a different town! I know I am not the only one this has happened to because I spoke to the manager of that company who says he is getting pharmacy calls all day. This is not acceptable for a pharmacy when people are needing to refill important medications and can’t. You need to get this fixed ASAP.

Absolutely awful pharmacy!! 4 people behind the counter, NO ONE WAITING, and they say it will take at least an hour to fill a simple prescription for 11 tablets and they won't do it while I wait. Hagans, QFC, take your pick and you'll get better service than the snarky people here. Avoid these people and support a business that will treat you right!

Horrible service from the man that works in the pharmacy. I’ve been on a medication for 6 years, and I always call 3 days in advance to make sure they’ll have it in stock. When I called he said “I don’t see why it wouldn’t be there on Saturday” come today I get the automated message saying it’s out of stock. When previously when I’d call they’d place the order so it would be ready. Definitely doing it to be spiteful and I will not be returning after this visit.

The drive through seldom works... today it wasactually working but they were just ignoring it because they were "short staffed." No sign, & no acknowledgement that you need to come in. So I called while I was sitting in the drive through to see it was broken again.No answer despite 3 attempts & to be transferred to someone in the pharmacy. I had 2 dogs with me so I really didn't want to go in but I really didn't want to come back. 3 people working in in the pharmacy & there was only one other customer. But no one came over to help either of us. Finally someone sees us & someone appears. I wait my turn & give the person the information to pickup the medication but they can't find it. She asks the pharmacist on duty & he doesn't seem to be too concerned. A little more waiting while she searches & finally she is ringing me up. I ask her if they are not answering the drive through, why isn't there a sign to let people know. "Oh, we have a sign somewhere." No apology, no 'I will take care of that right away', instead it was basically, 'no you don't matter!' It wasn't said but that's the message I heard by their actions. The cap was a childproof cap, despite the fact that we've signed the paperwork to get regular caps multiple times. It is very difficult for my wife to open those type of caps. This is a constant issue. I didn't bother to try to address it again. We were using their delivery service but the driver didn't deliver the meds last time & we had to jump through hoops to get a replacement. I also had issues with the drivers showing up hours after they were supposed to have come. I have had at least one driver just leave them without even getting a signature. He just left them by the door. There are some good people that work here.but there are way too many problems.

I am not one to write reviews but this has to be addressed. We’re changing pharmacies and drug stores completely. I am sure it is a problem for Rite Aid at its core but they are understaffed in the pharmacy. They take very long to fill a prescription which would be fine if you had any way of calling to check if it’s ready but no one ever answers the phone. This has been stated in the other reviews many times. Wait in a 20 minute line to almost always be told your prescription isn’t ready even days after they received it. Literally I am waiting 30 minutes for my prescription right now and they have had it for 2-3 days. They are understaffed so they have to take a lunch without anyone available covering the pharmacy. I get that but they will let you wait in line until they just cut it off at their lunch time and tell you to come back later. Put up a sign or rope off blocking customers from getting in line 20 minutes before your lunch so you can work through the line and not waste peoples time. Rite Aid will respond to this with a lip service response but honestly they are losing more and more customers due to the same terrible consistency. We are done. I do hope they fix their issues before it is too late.

Called in a prescription this morning, it said my prescription would be ready after 1:00pm today. Stopped in at 5pm. It was not ready and I was told it would be a 30 minute wait. What’s the point of calling in a prescription if it’s not going to be ready when they say?It’s really not that hard to respect the customer by keeping your promises.

Edit: changed from a positive experience when I went in to get medication prescribed by the emergency room. Am in extreme pain trying to get it filled and the woman behind the counter says it will be 45 minutes. I tell her I can not wait that long. I tell her I can't sit down. She basically looks at me and is like... go somewhere else? Well I barely made it here, so thats not happening. I tell her fine, I guess I will be back tomorrow when I can get a ride again because I can not drive if I can't sit... I start to leave and she asks for my ID.... which she did not need for any reason, so when she made me turn around and hobble back to the counter I struggled to pull it out and then tossed it on the counter. At which point she decided that despite working in a healthcare facility she was going to send me on hobbling away with nothing. I hope someday she experiences this kind of pain so that she can see how wonderful it is to be treated with compassion rather than hostility.FALSE: People here work quickly and are friendly. It's an easy and convenient place to grab a prescription.

Today at Rite Aid, in Stanwood, WRONGFULLY accused me of prescription forgery and fraud. The pharmacist was so incredibly rude to me as I was telling her it was not. She did not even contact the doctor, she called the police. She said it's now I'm the hands of the police.But luckily the offericer was sitting in the parking lot still. So I approached him, he had the RX in his possession. I told him that it was NOT fraud, literally handed to me by the doctor. He said he was about to come to my house. But he was very kind, and did not treat me poorly or judgmental in any way. I called the Dr on speaker phone and luckily they were in office, the confirmed the RX verbally so the officer went back inside and told the pharmacy they were wrong. He said since I seemed him out and approached him asking about it he knew it was a mistake.I'm just annoyed, I did nothing wrong, and the pharmacy treated me with such disrespect, the first tech jut walked about without a word to me and had the pharmacist tell me, and accuse me. I was treated like trash. It was humiliating and embarrassing as she spoke loud and clear with a long line of other customers.I absolutely understand these things truly happen, sp they need to be vigilant. But she did not even try to comfiim its validly with the doctor, or speaking to me first.I got my rx back, tool it to bartells and had it filled there without any issues. Thankful fot calm, kind officer that gives the benefit of doubt and again upset about the way the pharmacy handled the situation.And neither one ever did say what looked fraudulent about it.I will never use a rite aid again, not that they care. But I've had issues with rxs taking 5 days to be filled when called in, or refills taking several days too.

Rite aid is my favorite beer store. Sometimes they have the best mark downs. Keep your eyes peeled. In late spring sometimes great plant start deals !

This is a wonderful Rite Aid store! I just came here to get my Flu vaccine and I had a great experience. Everyone at the pharmacy was very friendly, and the pharmacist was very nice and did a great job giving me my shot. I was in and out really fast and it was an all around great experience! The cashier at the front was also very friendly. I am always very happy to come to this Rite Aid!

They have signage for a drive through that doesn't exist. They leave you sitting at a camera till you figure out out. I was assured I could pick up my ex yesterday after 1. As usual they haven't even started it And I've been waiting for 20 minutes. The past few years rite aid is a place a try desperately to avoid. They have forgotten who there customer is and treat everyone like they are homeless.

They prefer you go inside rather than use the drive through. I’ve gotten many prescriptions here and going inside takes 5 mins with 3 people in front of you but going through the drive through takes 30 mins with you being the only person there. I’ve always used rite aids drive through pharmacies and this one by far takes way longer than any other because they don’t have drive up windows where you can see them ignoring you.Edit: and they messed up the prescription that my newborn daughter is in dire need of so I’ll have to go back tomorrow.

During the busiest part of the afternoon, 3:00-5:00, there are never enough cashier's checking people out and you'll routinely wait in line for over 15 minutes. At other times, this place is good. So 5 months later and the lines in the afternoon have definitely improved. There's a couple new cashier's working in the busy afternoon and evenings. There's a young guy, kinda tall that's great, he gets you through the line fast but remains friendly and funny. He deserves a raise!!!

I just want to thank everyone for their hard work here. A few weeks ago I fell ill suddenly and my husband was not overly patient with the staff at this location. I’m grateful that my prescriptions were filled in a timely manner (I understand the steps involved) and the courtesy of the employees. Thank you so much for all you do! You made a difference in my life that day!

Terrible service. Tried to call for hours to verify a medication was filled. No one ever answered the store or pharmacy. Very dissatisfied. I could not call for lunch but tried dozens of times before their break and after. Ended up driving all the down to wait a large amount of time anyway, didn't get my prescription until around 4PM.

The store is way understaffed. Can't get help on the floor. Pharmacy is a guarantee 30 minute wait. Even if you give them 2 days to fill the order.

I was supposed to get my second dose of the vaccine in 2 days. I moved to Bellingham recently so I called here in order to move my appointment to a location up there. When I called the lady at the pharmacy she said that they are out of the vaccine anyways so I wouldn’t be able get it. What I want to know is, when was she going to tell me that they were out? I was very upset about this because I have to be vaccinated as do others. My reason being I have to take a flight soon and will not be let onto the plane without the shot. I asked her when they were going to get restocked and she just said “I don’t know…”. I am going to Walgreens instead. I’ll never come here again.

Horrible drive thru for the pharmacy. I sat at the window for 15 mins not acknowledged by anyone. I finally hit the call button someone says I'll be with you in a minute and another 10 mins goes by. I'm still sitting at the window 25 mins later. I get if your busy but acknowledge the customer. Once the gentleman asks me for my Dob he was just rude. I'm disappointed with this transaction I had today because usually the people are pleasant .

Rite Aid is a large variety of items store. If you cannot get to Walmart because it is too far to drive - try Rite Aid!

First off the manager/owner? is a nice guy (love his garden dept.) as are all the other employees i've come in contact with in the 'store". However, the pharmacy is a mess. The latest example is my Dr phoned in for pain meds yesterday after my surgery. I call the pharmacy today to ask when they would be ready. After the woman asked for my name and came back after looking she said "maybe tomorrow". I told her i had surgery and these prescripts were important to me and she replied "we're 3 days behind, you know, because of covid." Great excuse for being WAY understaffed, huh? I practically begged her for my painkillers. "Check after 3 pm today". I informed her I will be there AT 3pm to pick them up.

Multiple times, their automated phone prescription system has told me when my medication would be ready for pickup, but when I arrive, I’ve had to wait for a long time for it to be ready. No apologies; just a snarky “well, we’re busy”. I wish there was a Walgreens here!

Everyone at the pharmacy are very friendly and they call me by my first name, which is nice. I never have to wait long for my prescription to get filled, and it’s always nice to go into rite knowing you feel welcomed ❤️

Been talked rudely to several times. They make a LOT of mistakes to the point at which they insisted a prescription was picked up 2 days before it was and I almost called the police for a stolen prescription due to their misinformation. Had I not waited to find out if it was in fact picked up that day by family I would have assumed they were correct about the date and filed a report. They claim they get prescriptions then take days to fill them unless you sit there for 30 minutes or so to wait for it.

Constantly out of stock, repeatedly have lost my prescriptions then act shocked I find this unacceptable. At one point when I tried to pick up a prescription that had been out of stock they said it expired. When I told her no she told me she was to busy and to come back another day. Save yourself the trouble and pick a different pharmacy.
