Initial experience was good, reminders etc. About a half an hour before the appointment, I get a call, can I bring the dog in an hour later because the groomer is behind; they had a serious matting issue with an earlier appointment. I arrive (puppies first hair cut). The groomer comes out and tells me my dog is way to matted (he did have a couple mats; thus the request for grooming and a hair cut) and gave me a bologna explanation as to why she couldn't groom him. I knew the minute she came out she had no patience for a first time puppy after being seriously behind which I completely get, but please just be honest . I drove 45 minutes and left with no hair cut. Seriously disappointed in the service.

Excellent grooming experience. My Leo looks gorgeous. He seemed quite relaxed afterwards, which is great! Also, it was affordable pricing for an extra large dog. Thank you!

I took my dog to get groomed with a appointment the receptionist said they were super booked so I waited for my appointment went in the groomer came out with attitude right off I didn't have a good feeling she didn't seem to care than said my dog growled at her when he clearly didn't I was standing right there she said she's not grooming him because of the fear of being bit my feeling was she was just tired and made a lame excuse not to take him which is fine when your groomer acts like they don't care they dont!!! my dog is less than 20 lbs and has been to the groomers with no issues so im pretty sure she just didn't want to!! Again it's all good I told my husband I almost walked out when she 1st came out because I didn't have a good feeling with her and seeing the other dogs she really didn't do a good job!! So Stanwood groomer sucks!! Go to someone that shows they love dogs and it's not just a groomer!!! I felt good she didn't take him!! Dogs can tell you're not a good person off to another groomer and I'm happy to book with a privately owned groomer not a chain company that just don't care

I have 2 dogs who have never had their nails clipped before and were very afraid and skittish. The young lady who took care of my dogs was great with them! Even with the unsocialized Poppy, she took the time to make sure Poppy wasn't afraid of her, talked to her in a soothing voice, and was very calm and patient with her. I was going to take them somewhere else, but that lady wouldn't take them, she said she had no skills for handling scared dogs! I'm so glad I took them to Petco - great experience! I'll return soon! Thanks!

I have been using Petco for a while. I usually use Wolf for grooming and she is great. She has been helping new comer Drake. He did a great job. Once you find a good groomer you stick with the business. Everyone is nice, respectful and kind to our ever important pet babies.

Very good and consistent grooming from Jane! Also had a good experience with Blake with our Doberman 1 1/2 year old on another day for a bath and nail trim. Of course I'd refer people to the Stanwood Petco Grooming !

I started using a groomer a couple years ago when I got tired of cleaning a bucket of wet dog water off the walls of the bathroom every time she got a bath. We tried the Petco at Twin Lakes. After shaving my golden retriever mix’s tail and rear end down to the skin, she refused to get out of the car at the next visit. They were just supposed to give her a bath, not make her look like a giant possum.So we tried Stanwood. My dog still gets nervous going in but she’s not scared. Sabrina is so good with her and everyone there obviously loves animals.

Been going to Petco for several months and they are the first Groomers to dremel my Coonhounds nails without a complete full-blown battle and she is almost 10. They do a great job on our dogs and the baths are wonderful. Thank you to the ladies at the Stanwood Petco

My dog came in for a nail trim. The groomer did an excellent job trimming his very thick nails short. He did not act stressed at all. Will be back regularly!

I made an online appointment with the wrong location. When I showed up for the appointment at the location I thought I had made the appointment, the gal was so nice and called the other store to cancel for me. Then they squeezed me into theirs schedule. Super friendly and the haircut was adorable.
