Our regular pharmacy was out my husband's meds and we were able to find it at Bartell's. We were so impressed with their care and friendliness, we switched pharmacies even though it's a longer drive. It was a great decision. We are so happy here! :)

I went a few days ago and was having a bad day. Was crying cause I lost someone recently. They didn't sell me anything and 90%, sure they called cops on me that came to me cause they thought I was intoxicated. They were very rude especially after I tried to explain my redness of my eyes.(due to crying). Just lost one of their most loyal customers. Good job morons 👏

I love Bartels I shop frequently there for personal care items , Epsom salts , small gifts , Xmas lights .I find the store lay out & design easy to find items, prices are reasonable.I can't say much about pharmacy .I don't have any prescription drug needs at this time. But It seems from these comments they are short of staff & close pharmacy before people are off work.QFC has a drive through window possibly , , , Bartell s can', start up similar to that convince

The pharmacy is terrible. When my Dr called in a prescription for antibiotics it took the 3 days to fill. Nothing was ever ready even if they sent a text saying it was. We finally switched when things didn't change after we complained numerous times. Too many people standing around doing nothing.

After the experience I had with the pharmacy this morning Bartell's has lost yet another customer. Somehow the girls that work in that pharmacy think they have the right to lecture me about taking medication then make me wait as long as possible for my refill. Well I guess they do have that power in their little position in the pharmacy, but with that power they get to know that they're the reason that soon they won't have a job because Bartell's is losing customers at a pretty rapid rate. They can definitely count me as one that won't be back. Pp

The pharmacy hours are ridiculous. Closes at 6pm everyday. They literally are open less hours than I work each day. I'm switching from this place. Takes days to fill scripts. Even after surgery when your surgeon sends the script the day before you have surgery, you will not have your meds until days after. Maybe if they offered more money to employee's they didn't have such a staffing issue.

I went through yesterday to ask the pharmacist what type of bandage I could use on my hand as I had had stitches by my finger. As I waited, I saw her fill three prescriptions didn’t even look my way so I told the assistant I will find something myself I don’t have all day and she said are you sure? I Walked over to the bandages and found some thing and nobody acknowledged my disappointment at any time. There’s a woman in there waiting for her flu shot, and I said good luck and she rolled her eyes. I had an appointment last year for the flu shot and I had to wait for an hour. I really enjoy the pharmacist at Haggen. Maybe Walgreens will go in Rite Aid/Bartell since they are going bankrupt.

I’ve had prescriptions filled there for 20 years and it used to be a great pharmacy. Now no one answers the phone, and you leave a message and no one calls you back. Recently I had a new prescription sent over there Thursday morning. I wanted to use a RX coupon so I called and left a message. It didn’t show up on my account as ready until late on Friday. I decided to pick it up first thing on Saturday after checking online and calling for store hours. Both said it opened at 9:00. I arrived then and it was closed for the entire weekend. It’s one thing to cut store hours, but at least update it online and the recorded phone message for hours. Sigh! I’m done going there. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is I have liked their online vaccine appointments.

The people at this pharmacy are great, friendly, and helpful. They've been overworked and understaffed just like everywhere else, and yet they work really hard to get our prescriptions ready. One thing I've learned is, if you call in your refill to the automated line, it's best to call and check on it (and talk to a person) to make sure it's ready. Every time I've done that, my prescription has been ready on time. I feel sorry that they have to do that as it seems inefficient, but it works.

The pharmacy changes their hours by putting a note on the drive up window, such as “closed Saturdays”. Even the store personnel gives out the wrong information! Very frustrating! They are now closing at 5:00 pm but do not answer their phone at 4:45pm ….are they leaving early? Unacceptable service for important medical RX pick-up. Do not use this store!!!!as I was complaining to the supervisor all’s she said was for me to call corporate and complain! No customer care at all. Horrible treatment.

They couldn't care less if you wait 20min just to see if your prescription is even on hand or fillable. Very unpleasant visits everytime I've gone. Quickest I've ever gotten my prescription is 30min, and that's with myself being the only one at the pharmacy. Even if you call ahead they never have it ready by the time they tell you..Extremely low customer service.If you value your own time and have respect for yourself as a person I would avoid Stanwood bartells.

This store went to hell since Rite Aid took over, we left Rite Aid for a reason and now its back. 1 star because I had to pick something to post this. (edit for response) The reason for this is closing @ 5pm, closed on weekends, not answering your phone and not returning calls when a msg is left.

WORST PHARMACY EVER!!!! They never answer their phones!!!! ever. I understand there's staffing issues etc but to never answer your phone? I am a nurse and when it comes to Healthcare services this is unacceptable. People can wait for a phone call to be answered and placed on hold. It's really not that difficult.

ZERO Stars: (Now Rite Aid) Stopped to pick up pain meds for daughter after her surgery. She called when about an hour away to make sure it would be ready. They had about three hours to fill it. When we tried to pick it up they said it would be a least an hour more. No apology, nothing. This is the third time this has happened. They have lost my business and anyone I can persuade to NEVER do business with them again.

Very inaccurate reporting of hours. I recommend calling prior to going to the store pharmacy. No weekend hours for the pharmacy? 9-5 through the week? When are working people supposed to pick up their prescriptions? This is unacceptable, bartells!!!!

I have been a Bartell’s customer for years, first in Seattle...lower Queen Anne store and now the Stanwood Store. I look forward to getting my Sunday paper to see what the sales available to take advantage of great buys! I get my prescriptions filled at this store. I have great respect for your sales clerks and pharmacists. I particularly like Nancy. She always knows where something is, so I can ask her and don’t have to walk the aisles looking for it. She’s always upbeat and pleasant. She’s a keeper!

My family has monthly prescriptions to pick up. Each time we visit the wait just to speak to someone at the pharmacy can be a good 10-15 minutes. The people are not friendly at all. Medication is never ready when we get there we always have to wait. 10 mins turns into 30 and just becomes a huge frustration every time, it’s always something.Coming from using Walgreens pharmacy to this is a joke. Walgreens gets you in and out, bartells is on their own time. I will be switching as soon as I can

This pharmacy took four days to fill my daughter's prescription. I called on Monday morning and they didn't have it ready until Friday morning. Talking with the pharmacist on how frustrated I was. The pharmacist was very rude and told me to go somewhere else. I did that, the other pharmacy had my daughter's prescription ready in fifteen minutes.

This place is ridiculous, don’t even bother trying to get your prescriptions here, by the time you’re helped you’ll have succumbed to whatever disease you need the medicine for. Every single time I come here to get my medicine, wether i go through drive-thru or go in to the store, I end up waiting for 30 minute’s minimum. It’s absolutely crazy and has been going on like this for YEARS! Don’t bother shopping here either, nothing you can’t get for cheaper at many of the other stores around town. Truly a joke to this chain of establishments.

I usually like this location and they are usually pretty nice but yesterday I had went in there to print out a picture collage for my mom for mothers day and to pick out a picture frame for it. I literally stood at the picture counter for 20 minutes waiting for someone to help me, meanwhile an older women who worked there looked at me stood there and kept looking at me, she didn't ask if I needed help or anything, so finally I ask her how long does it take to get the prints, she said a few minutes. I said okay, well I saw my print in their box thing1, she looked over at it and looked at me and didn't say anything. So finally I go to the front check out line and there is a worker doing something. I waited patiently, nothing happen, so I walk back over go the picture department and the lady hands me my picture and was very rude about it. Finally I go to check out and left. I am not very happy with this location.

If I could give less stars I would. They keep changing their pharmacy hours not informing anyone and the hours they keep now will be nearly impossible for someone who is working to get their prescription not to mention they're not open on the weekend anymore what is even the point of having a pharmacy there.... You would think they would be putting a paper in with everyone's prescription or something to inform everyone of their new hours but they have not done that... This pharmacy is a joke.

Pharmacy tech was rude and rolled her eyes when I came in to get a prescription filled 30 minutes before closing. Her and the pharmacist both looked annoyed. Won't be filling my prescriptions here anymore. I have been here several times and the lady ringing me up is always this way and they take forever to fill prescriptions. What a joke.

Bartells was a wonderful place to shop until the Bartell family sold the business to Rite-Aid. This particular store is having staff shortages which are not the employees fault. I get my perscrptions here but now it really feels like Rite-Aid. I wish Rite-Aid would just convert all Bartells into their store designs asap. As a Washingtonian growing up with Bartells as a kid to middle age, it's just not appropriate pretending to be something that you are not. Good Luck Rite-Aid

I have loved their pharmacy for the seven years we have lived in Stanwood. Unfortunetly the last four visits have left me frustrated. They haven't had prescriptions they said they did, or don't have them ready. Seems like they need more employees.

I am always happy when I see Nancy at our Bartell in Stanwood. Nancy is always cheerful, upbeat, and helpful. She oftentimes greets us as we enter and always sends us on our way with a smile. Nancy has been working at the Stanwood Bartell for as long as I can remember. She is The Stanwood Bartell Icon. She’s part of the fabric of Stanwood.

If I could give zero stars I would. Brittany at the drive-thru pharmacy is so incredibly rude. She was rolling her eyes at me when I was asking questions about my re-fill. I work in costumer service and this kind of attitude should not be tolerated at any facility.
