Stayed overnight in Sprague instead of Spokane and was really pleased with my choice to stay here. The room was really clean and bed was comfortable and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Added bonus was driving down main street after checking out and seeing a couple properties that had old cars that had been collected and stored. Nice little rustic town. So happy to explore these smaller communities. Would not hesitate to stay again!!

Renovated, old-style motel just off I-90 in a quiet village. The owners are friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There's a small laundromat on the property, which adds to the convenience of the place. Also, there's a small grocery store in downtown Sprague - Kathy's Store -about a quarter mile away that is surprisingly well-stocked for its size.I just needed a no-frills place to stay for a night and the Sprague delivered.Note, there is a set of train tracks about 200 yds away, but the traffic is infrequent and adds to the feel of the place in my opinion. All-in-all, this place is peaceful, quiet and a good value.

Sick of spending $150+ for just a clean place to sleep and shower? And, they don't even have a friendly staff? This place is NOT that. It's perfect! Retro, rustic decor, clean rooms. Pet friendly. They are problem solvers - finding what you need and providing what they can. (example - travelers were showing up hungry, needing snacks, so the manager, Raymond, installed snacks and light meals available for GROCERY STORE PRICES!) laundry, dump station for good price. Wi-Fi. Grassy picnic area is shady and quiet. The town of Sprague is quaint and Mayberry-like. Train tracks and old station.

After a few days of car camping, I was looking for an inexpensive place to get a shower and a comfy bed. This hotel filled the bill! My room was very clean, the bed was great, and the manager was very friendly and helpful. Yes, several trains passed through during my stay, but they didn't bother me. If you're looking for a posh hotel with all the amenities, you'll have to press on to Spokane and spend more $$$. If you just want to rest your head for the night before traveling on, this is a good option.Safety: I wasn't worried at all for my safety. I'm much more worried in big-city hotels.

I live in the RV park side of this business. Before the new owners took over, we were just passing through and couldn’t wait to find somewhere else to go. Since the new owners took over it has been a night and day difference! We were looking to leave but now have decided to stay for the long term. All of the motel rooms have been completely updated, the grounds are kept beautifully, the manager and his wife are the nicest people and always try to go above and beyond to make sure that EVERYONE has the very best stay possible! The monthly rates can’t be beat, they are always asking how they can make the place better and take all suggestions seriously, and most of all we feel SAFE! The ONLY reason I gave a 3 star for location is because this is a small town and any large businesses such as restaurants or stores are located in Airway Heights (about 35-45 minutes drive one way). I absolutely love it here and am happy to call it home! Thanks Sprague Motel and RV park for all that you do!

Older motel, very simple accommodations. But the room and bathroom were spotless, and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet, despite occasional trains nearby. Staff polite and helpful, with nice touches like effective light blocking shades, good coffee, and an unpretentious breakfast bar. And it’s located exactly where we needed to stop for a night.

This motel is newly renovated, rooms are very clean and comfortable, the town is sleepy, the trains don't bother us. It's hard to find good old country style accommodation, this is a great value just outside Spokane, fantastic stop for travellers just off interstate 90.Rooms: The bed and the room is both clean and comfortable.

Today at 12:26, I had to save a mans life from overdosing that lives across from me, praise the Lord I have narcam because my husband is on a pain contract, what a horrible experience I had to go through today, it scared me to the core, praise the Lord I was here when the lady cried for help that her boyfriend was unconscious.

Clean, affordable & easy after-hours check-in! The trains are our only complaint staying here. We were woken up frequently from the loud trains throughout the night. But the room was clean, met expectations and the bed was comfy!

Very confusing to get into after hours because there were very few signs and we almost got stuck with our camper in the trailer park side. Had to call the emergency number twice to have the manager (owner?) Come out and direct us. We appreciated him directing us. We didn't know beforehand that there were no communal bathrooms or showers available at all. Decent enough place to stay overnight on after a long travel day, but kind of in a sketchy area. Beware that there was a loud train that blew its horn all night long.

I had an amazing stay at this small motel. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. The location was also perfect, close to all the best attractions and restaurants. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

It was a nice place to stay. Small, quaint and quiet. Except for my children that is lol. Was welcoming and friendly. The only negative is that trains run past day and night. But, even with them blowing their horns, never bothered us or disturbed our sleep. But, if that will cause sleep disruption for someone, that needs to be taken into account. Ear plugs maybe? Otherwise, it was a very nice stay. Rooms were clean. They have a small refrigerator and microwave. Along with a 2 cup coffee pot and coffee, cups and creamer/sugar packets. Good channel lineup.Overall was a pleasant and enjoyable. I would stay here again.

We got the last available room on a whim for less than the cost of a basic KOA cabin in Spokane and we’re so glad we did. The owner was super nice and accommodating. The room was clean and we appreciated the extra care that went into the little things, such as the perfectly and artfully arranged towels, which were softer and thicker than most budget hotel towels. It was clean and well maintained. I appreciate the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The location was quiet and we enjoyed meeting the Benedictine monks up at the Catholic Church and joined them for Evening Prayer, which was extraordinarily memorable.

Miss Kay at the Sprague Motel made every step of our journey to Idaho amazing! I received friendly service when making the reservation, and the wonderful reception we received when we checked in was first class! When we inquired about dining facilities, Miss Kay kindly referred us to the Viking Cafe, which exceeded our expectations on every level! The lodging rates were very reasonable and fair. The room was large and it was immaculately clean, with windows and plenty of light if you wanted it! Best of all was the peaceful and quiet serenity of the motel campus. The amenities were sustainable also, which shows that they care about their ecological footprint. If we needed anything whatsoever, Miss Kay was available to either answer questions, or assist us with our lodging needs. The next time we go thru Eastern Washington we will make it a point to see friendly Miss Kay and stay at the Sprague Motel.

Wow, talk about an oasis in the middle of the dessert. We stopped off here after a day of heat and were pleasantly surprised. The room was absolutely spotlessly clean. The carpet, sheets and bathroom were clean and smelled great. The towels were snow white and fluffy. The room was so affordably priced we both exclaimed at the cost. You can also camp and RV it here. This place is worth the drive past Spokane when heading into Washington. Finally, the owners are super kind with great senses of humor. We stayed on our way out of state and on the way back in. 5 stars for sure.

Room was nice and clean! Good prices! Bed wasn't comfy, but what hotel bed is? The Owner also owns the Bar down the street, The Oasis... 11$ steak, it was pretty good! Definitely worth 11$ came with a baker, corn and a salad.

Stopped here on my way back to Minnesota, just needing a place to lay my head down for the night. The owners were wonderful! Very warm, friendly and helpful people. They got me set up in no time. The motel itself maybe a little dated, however the rooms are very clean and comfortable and come with free WIFI. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the passing trains. I woke up refreshed and ready to go again.

The desk clerk (owner?) gave my husband tea to bring to me when she heard I was not feeling well. Then, when we checked out, she called less than an hour later to let me know I had left behind my Kindle Fire. We were too far to turn back, so she offered to mail it to us. The rooms were clean and affordable. However, the kindness and honesty are the reason we will return!!

I have stayed in the motel and the RV park. You will not find nicer people to do business with. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Yes, the train runs fairly close by but the average person can tune them out. The RV park is small and a work in progress. Not what you would call a resort (yet?) but a clean safe place to park with full hook-ups and you won't pay resort prices.

Definitely not glamping. A one night stay for us. The park could be so much better if taken care of.The train is nearby, but didn't seem to run at night. We could get tv from our antenna, and our hot spot worked for wifi. Electric and water and sewer $40

The lady that ran the place was super nice. But pretty expensive for a dive motel in the middle of nowhere. There wasn't any shampoo or conditioner for the price that's the last they could do. And they are not 420 friendly.
