High prices that as a result, have gotten a 3.8 star aggregate review (read: not high). I would not recommend Kathy's at this location and the other. I felt that they were really off and really not something that we would recommend. We felt that prices for good were shockingly high (and I say that as someone who has a penchant and a love of local, botique grocery markets). I decided not to write here because of Kathy's high prices and mediocre behavior from staff.

Since the new owner Raj has taken over, there's a lot more variety of stock. prices are still kind of steep for us poor people who live out in the middle of nowhere. But not as badly as the previous owners were. The store is very clean and the employees are very nice and courteous!

Great experience, at least one can have at a grocery store. Kathy's has pretty much all your needs. From food perishable or otherwise, refreshments, alcohol, and outdoor amenities for your local hunting and fishing needs. Great selection, considering that the nearest place with any variety is 15 miles to the west in Ritzville or 12 miles to the east in Cheney.A very warm welcome from the cashier, who was also quite helpful for in giving me ideas and directions to local establishments.

I will be honest with this review. Kathy is a very kind woman with a big heart, and is a pleasure to deal with. The prices are a bit higher than they would be in spokane, but I'm giving this review 5 stars anyway because the difference is definitely justified due to the extra cost of shipping in all the food and materials. There is a little bit of everything in this store, and I wouldn't hesitate to lay a few extra dollars for the convenience offered by this wonderful store and the amazing lady that owns it.

Store is over flowing with Stuff! She has a Hardware section, even sells Vintage items. It's prices are real high but She carrys a lot of food items. Found Kathy & young lady worker both friendly.. Masks are Mandatory.

I live several miles away and shopped there for years, They had everything I needed during the pandemic including toilet paper without having to wait in line to get in.Yes, they shop at Costco and WinCo and mark it up a little, that's how business works. They driving to Costco and WinCo means I don't have to drive to Spokane, stand in line, etc.

Great little store, the owners are awesome. I know that this doesn't make them a lot of money. But they serve our community, the prices are reasonable when considering how far our town is from everything.

Wow!! This place is open to perform highway robbery on any unsuspecting traveler. They purchase their groceries in Spokane at Winco, mark the prices up to at least twice, then promplt rip people off!! You really don't want to habe to di any shopping here, if you can go most anywhere else!! I live here in Sprague though also a "prepper" buying all my groceries at Winci in Spokane. Hey perhaps I'll open a store here in Sprague, and reasonably put the prices. I believe in catering to the people which reside in the town. Instead of counting on ripping off travelers. I just kight.. ☺
