Was in the drive through line today 12/26/23 around 10:50. They are pretty good here and fast. Right in the middle of our transaction while ringing us up the girl picks up her phone and starts texting. đŽđłđ˛ REALLY!!!. I don't know why it surprises me. That's just the way it is today. Can't you wait 30 more seconds to do that?

As of 1/1/2024, have a Medicare Advantage plan with OptumRx mail-order pharmacy services. I contacted OptumRx on 1/3 and requested that they have my prescriptions transferred from the Walgreens on Grand Boulevard (Spokane). They processed this request and sent a fax to Walgreens the same day.Walgreens took no action, so OptumRx faxed a second request on 1/8. 48 hours have lapsed and Walgreens has not responded.I called the Walgreens pharmacy this morning and was on hold for 14.5 minutes. During this time, there were 3 occasions when someone picked up the phone (the hold music stopped and I could hear background conversation) and then immediately placed me on hold without saying ANYTHING to me.Pharmacy tech Peyton eventually answered and said they were very busy. I reminded her that it takes less than 5 seconds to inform the caller that there will be a wait before placing the call on hold again. I said that OptumRx provided me with the number for Walgreens to speak with their pharmacist to facilitate the prescription transfer. She was unwilling to initiate the transfer and said that OptumRx must contact Walgreens. I said they already had done so, and she said "then we must not have gotten the request". I asked for and received the Walgreens phone number for pharmacist use and the pharmacy fax number.I called OptumRx and they confirmed the address, phone number, and fax number on record for this Walgreens facility matched the information the Walgreens pharmacy tech had provided to me.So, I drove over to Walgreens and was assisted by pharmacy tech, Kieren, who was so very polite and more than willing to assist me. They took down all of the insurance information and the contact numbers and said they would call OptumRx and get these prescriptions transferred as requested and then would call me and advise me that the task had been completed.This was an utter flog and I did not get any traction with Walgreens until Kieren stepped into the mix.My initial rating was 1, but I have upgraded my rating to 2 because of Kieren's excellent customer service.But, this does not negate the breakdown in the process of getting my prescriptions transferred to OptumRx. This type of inefficiency increases my workload and the workload of OptumRx customer support and Walgreens pharmacy and is not conducive to good patient care.

...EditCalled to prescription transferred and last on the phone took the information. Called back two days later and asked the status and manager told me I have to call the destination pharmacy. Why don't you train your employees properly? This is why I transferred and why I'm not going to Walgreens again. Corporate needs to look into this store as there are a lot of incompetent employees running it.

Don't bother making an appointment for vaccination here. Unless you enjoy waiting an hour while the pharmacist ignores the people seated waiting for their shots; patients who took time out of their day to be on time for their "appointment". After an hour I gave up.Never again.

This is by far the ABSOLUTE WORST Walgreenâs I have ever had to deal with. I have been using Walgreens since the 90âs and in 5 different states. They never answer their phone, or you are on hold anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour+. They can never get my refills right. I have never been so stressed out with simply just trying to get refills. I just transferred to another Walgreens today, and had to call them due to the other one screwing up yet again. I was on hold for maybe 2 minute, the lady was very pleasant and told me my refills will be ready in just a couple of hours. I definitely do not recommend the Walgreens on Grand!!!

I have been trying to get my daughters magic mouth wash for 3 days now. First day he told me to come back in an hour and when I did they were closed. Second day they said the insurance wouldnât go through so I called my insurance and they told me Walgreens was entering in the wrong code and walked me through how to help Walgreens do it the right way. Now Walgreens is stating theyâre not contracted with my insurance đ¤Śđťââď¸ I can pay out of pocket but one person says $37 and the other person says $118 đ just avoid this place completely. They did nothing but leave a bad taste in my mouth.

This Walgreens pharmacy is the worst. Tonight I waited on hold for an hour for them to just pick up the phone and hang up. I then called back and Iâve been sitting on hold for 1hr 15 min. They also never have medications in stock. Worst customer service ever!

This walgreens pharmacy is the worst. They are super slow, busy or not. They are always "short staffed"! All of the employees seem extremely unhappy and are not very friendly! I am pretty sure they hate their jobs, and it shows! Had an "appointment" for noon flu shot. It's now 12:22 and I've still not filled out any paperwork. If I could give them 0 stars if that were an option!

First refill they told me it would be done on Tuesday by 11:00 AM, I showed up Wednesday at 6:00 PM and it wasnât ready. They refused to fill it while I waited, so I had to go home, wait an hour and come back. Second refill I had to wait 35 minutes in the drive-through line. Third refill the pharmacist counted wrong. I had to return and wait another 15 minutes for the clerk to get off the phone and complete the refill. No apology or acknowledgment that they screwed up. I wouldnât recommend going here.Unfortunately I continued to to use this pharmacy out of convenience, and they continued to screw things up. It took me multiple days and well over 10 phone calls to get my new prescription filled. On one call I was put on hold for 42 minutes before someone picked up; the lady who answered said it was because they are busy. Their phone system was updating me that only one call was ahead of me for for the first 35 minutes of the hold (maybe they gave up, I was about to), so it's likely if they are busy they don't take calls and you will sit on hold for a very long time. This was not during their lunch break. Another time I called in the morning and it took 34 minutes for someone to pick up. After the first 25 minutes the phone would periodically start ringing, then someone would move the call back to hold.I also showed up to get a prescription yesterday, which was 3 days after it was sent by the doc, and after waiting 25 minutes in the drive-through the lady said they never received it and sent me off. I called my doctor this morning and they confirmed with me that the script was in-fact sent and Walgreens received and verified it 4 days ago. My doc sent it again. After calling Walgreens this morning, apparently they did in-fact receive both and had confirmed the first one 4 days ago. She said I was told in the drive-through that they didn't receive the prescription because they have new employees working that don't know how to use their system. My doctor's office mentioned to me they have had problems with this pharmacy. Needless to say, I am not surprised. I have wasted so much time and experienced so much frustration trying to be their customer.This place is giving Walgreens a bad name, and imo, they have earned it. My experience as a Walgreens customer has been very poor to say the least.

I wanted this to be our main pharmacy bc of the drive thru window, but itâs not worth that convenience. I wasnât getting any updates for my daughterâs medication (which she desperately needed), and I tried calling all day long, only to be met with long holds and automated options, no actual person to talk to ever.Then I found that Walgreens will not be selling the abortion pill in several states where abortion is still legal. Keeping my business prescriptions at Rite Aid & Sixth Avenue Pharmacy from here on out.

I have gotten my prescriptions here for years and the staff has been so/so. I got the worst service from the tech two days ago. He was rude to me when I asked why I got a text that my med was ready to be picked up when it wasnât. Iâm going to transfer to another pharmacy. They also shorted me on pills in the past but wouldnât fix it because I didnât realize it right away. Said I waited too long to address the issue. Terrible pharmacy service.

Genuinely the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. I went to pick up my prescription, they told me to come back in an hour. I came back in an hour, she tells me it's not ready and to come back in 2 hours. The moment I get back home, I get a text saying it's ready when they could have just told me to wait there while it got filled. I wanted to verify that it was ACTUALLY ready, so I called the pharmacy and after waiting, the person who answered the phone just cut me off as I was speaking and was pretty dang rude. Absolutely ridiculous experience.

So disappointed in Walgreens. I set up an appointment to get a PCR test for travel out of the country because their website stated I would have the results in 48 hrs. This is not true. I went to the drive up window, did the test and when I handed it back to them the staff said "You'll have this back in 3-4 days." I said oh no, your website says 48 hrs! I will be leaving in less that 72 hours and I can't go if this is not back. The gal tried to then comfort me and said "oh then you will be fine." I was not feeling "fine" at all. So frustrating! I called the next day and spoke with someone and was informed that the tests are shipped to New York and they don't ship on weekends (my test was on a Sunday). She said "I don't know why the website says 48 hours" so not comforting. Needless to say it's been more than 48 hours and I had to go and pay $125 for a test to ensure I will be able to get on the plane at 5 AM. Do not trust what their website says, it could cost you a ton of money if you aren't able to get on your plane! Walgreens if you are reading this change your website to be transparent!

The pharmacy has screwed me over more times than I can count. One time they only filled half of my prescription and my doctors wouldnât prescribe more, so I had to go without my SSRI for a month. Another time they didnât enter my insurance and told me I would just have to pay full price if I wanted to medication since it was the day before expiration. Several times theyâve cancelled my auto refill for no reason. Other times theyâve only given me 1 medication, but entered the other as filled and picked up. Several times theyâve claimed that they werenât sent the prescription when my doctor has proof that they received it.

This pharmacy is terrible! They made us wait 40+ minutes to tell us they donât take my insurance and it was going to be $60 out of pocket. Okay Iâll pay it.. then they say they can not sell it to us since the insurance doesnât cover it.. that makes no sense. Iâve never heard a pharmacy say youâre not allowed to pay out of pocket?? Itâs still getting paid for? They then KEEP MY PRESCRIPTION and say they canât give it back just call rite aid and they can send it over⌠so I canât buy a prescription, they wonât take my insurance and then kept my papers? rite aid said their system doesnât allow that or couldnât do it whatever. They then try to say to call up the ER I just spent 5 hours at to get new papers/ have them send one to rite aid. Why would I do that?? You shouldnât have kept my prescription papers to begin with! If you donât accept my insurance then give it back. We had to drive back and they finally gave us my papers. No one wants to deal with this after being in the ER. Youâre messing with peoples health and make no sense.

This Walgreens transferred a pain medicine prescription out to the one on Hastings Rd. without asking me. When I called the Hastings location they didnât have it. I learned that Walgreens lost my prescription! By the time I had the doctor resend the prescription days later I was in agonizing pain. The Walgreens staff didnât help me one bit was uncaring about the situation. I donât want this to happen to anyone else.

Went in to get needles for my testosterone injection that I do have a RX for and was treated like a hard drug user. They denied my RX because I wasnât filling the testosterone at the same time which was their fault they didnât have enough when I picked up the testosterone. Ended up at Rite-aid no issues. Not a friendly or professional business at the pharmacy.

This pharmacy is not well-run. It is difficult to reach them by phone, and once you do, they often don't have the correct information, and blame it on my doctor. I call my doctor and they say everything is in order, but when I call the pharmacy back, they tell me they haven't heard from my doctor, and will not try to help by calling them. This has happened over and over. In fact, it very seldom happens that there isn't some glitch. The employees are not bad, but seem overworked, and the computer system doesn't seem to function efficiently. For my insurance, I have to use Walgreens, or I would go somewhere else. It is a demoralizing experience for both me and the employees.

The employees are very rude! With 5mins to spare I had to grab baby medicine. Instead of offering to help me since they know the store like the back of their hands. The young lady decided to hound over me at the other end of the isle and yell a count down! So rude and disrespectful. Not a way to treat your customers!!! Absolutely horrible! Donât work in hospitality if you donât have the patience for it whatever your day has been.

Pharmacy staff here is incredibly rude and unprofessional, especially a gal named Megan. At least I think that's her name. Evening manager was pretty much a jerk too. Have not set foot in this store in several weeks and have not missed it at all. Will gladly spend my dollars elsewhere. Costco pharmacy now gets my business. Those guys are awesome.

This is the worst place to get your script. I tried calling. Went through a series of rings then hold music. Was a recording saying 2 calls ahead of me. Then more hold music then ring, ring, ring nothing. The only reason I go here is because of my insurance. I'd give this place a zero if I could.

This is the worst Walgreens ever. The staff is very nice, but the pharmacy staff is lazy and unprofessional. I've been trying to get my prescriptions transferred for two days and the pharmacy staff only keeps screwing me over. They claim to call for the prescriptions, but wait until I arrive the next day to pick them up to try to do their job. Of course, by that point my pharmacy is closed. They then proceed to say that they'll work on it first thing the next day, but never do. Now I'm here two days without any prescriptions because of their lazy behaviors. I won't ever come back here.

A lot of people are putting the pharmacy down on here but they work really hard and are a busy store. A lot of people don't understand how a pharmacy works but if you stay calm they're happy to help you. Just be nice and they'll be nice! Thank you guys for all your hard work!

A generous 1 star. I hate to agree with the rest of the negative reviews, but their pharmacy staff assistance is terrible. Iâve tried to order prescriptions here twice and both times they claimed my insurance wasnât accepted here but when I called another Walgreens down the road they did accept it. Complete joke. Iâm not sure if itâs incompetence or laziness, but either way Iâd save your time and a headache than trying to send prescriptions here. 5 stars to Fred Meyer pharmacy though!

Absolutely terrible pharmacy service. I spent 3 hours trying to reach the pharmacy via phone, when it said I was finally to the front of the hold line - the elevator music stopped and it started ringing like someone was about to answer, then went back to elevator music. It did this a few times and then I got hung up on before even talking to someone. That was one hour, then I tried again twice and the same exact thing for another hour each try. I had to call the regular store, ask to talk to a manager, and ask the manager to get me to a pharmacist. She transferred me back to the pharmacy line but said she would just tell a pharmacist to answer, which they then did. I got confirmation that my med, in 2 strengths/doses, would be filled. 4 days later, only one has been filled on the website and I can't get ahold of them on the phone to find out what happened to the other one.

This pharmacy is extremely unprofessional and rude. The pharmacist himself and his staff was not willing to help with an existing prescription that ive been filling there for over a year. Because they dont know how to communicate correctly with my doctor and myself they have messed up my script for the last 3 months and its been like pulling teeth to get the correct amount of meds on my ongoing script. I wouldnt recommend this pharmacy to my worst enemy!
