Only place in Spokane that sells First mate dog food. They have the best price and best employees. I bring my Golden retriever every time I get food. She knows the drill and goes behind the counter and sits and waits for her treat. She loves the guys and they treat her like a queen. Would recommend this place, no question.

The guys here are absolutely amazing! Super kind, helpful, knowledgeable, couldn't ask for anything more 🙌. One of our pups has a ton of allergies and they helped us find the right food and he's now living symptom free. They have a huge selection of different made in the USA, natural foods for your fur baby. One of the biggest wins (at least as a fur mom with pups that destroy every toy) was them introducing me to the best plush toy EVER - Fluff & Tuff's plush football! Something about the material and the fact that there are no appendages to rip off! We have an 80lb big guy that tears things up and an Aussie collie mix that destroys plushies and it's still alive after months of play!

These guys are great! Have gone in a couple of times to get supplies for our rescue pup that we've had a few challenges with and they've been very knowledgeable and helpful. Educated me on better food choices to help with some health issues. Very kind and friendly.

I really like this store! It has a ton of stuff crammed into a small space. Narrow aisles for sure. But there is so much good stuff here. Staff is incredibly friendly and will remember you after a few visits.

Love this place! The staff is educated on pet health/nutrition and help ensure me that I’m feeding my fur babies the best. We opted for Nature’s Logic for the dogs and Nulo and Stella & Chewy’s for the cats and they are all in perfect health and have soft and smooth coats. I feel comfortable purchasing any product in their store knowing it is from only high quality and trustworthy brands/sources. Plus, the staff always recognizes us and our dogs and treats us all wonderfully.

My favorite pet store in Spokane. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help you find what you need for your pet. I love the selection of raw, freeze dried, canned and kibble that they offer here. I have been buying Fromm brand for my 2 great danes and I love that they have a bag buying program so after 12 you get a free bag. They also have a really nice selection of food bowls, collars and leashes, toys, and adorable kitty cubbies 😺🐾

This place has a lot of higher end foods and naturopathic options for medications, soaps, etc. They also have a great selection of treats for your pets in a buffet style presentation. 99% of the staff here is exceptional. In my case as a repeat customer one of the cashiers in particular knows exactly which frequent buyer card to grab and check off when I buy my dogs food, and has had great recommendations and guidance in the past. Also in my case it was easy to spot someone who was new, she was less than helpful with a question about one of the dog food bags I buy routinely.

Wow, this place is my new #1 and it's right by my house! Not only do they carry a huge selection of frozen raw kibble for my chug, but they have all of her favorite rawhide-free toys for about the same price as Amazon. Every time I've had a question, the female employee (sorry, I'm so terrible with names!) has taken me and given me all the info I need, and more. They have lots of samples to help you choose the right food for your pet and they even have more natural solutions, like a dental powder I sprinkle on my dog's food to help clean her teeth, and CBD oil too. I always send people their way when we talk about pet stuff because I know these people are efficient, honest, and knowledgeable as hell.

I was looking for a place that sells CBD for dogs in a last ditch effort that along with his pain meds would give him more relief and a better quality of life. Joshua I believe was his name was very knowledgeable about all their products. After finding out more about my pup he recommended 2 products. It’s been 2 weeks today and I can’t believe how much of a difference it has made. Our vet told us he wouldn’t be able to play or go on walks anymore but with the CBD he has. He is enjoying all the smells on short walks again and playing with his younger brother and jumping around. I was thinking my baby wouldn’t make it to Christmas and now I have so much hope. Thank you Urban Canine. The employees are very well educated on their products and can help you with what you need for your pets.

I cannot thank and praise Urban Canine enough for their generosity and kindness towards me tonight. Our little old pug came inside not wanting to put weight on her leg, and I couldn’t bear the thought of her sleeping through the night potentially in pain. I called 10 minutes before they closed and asked if they had CBD oil and if they could let me pay over the phone and pick up the oil in front of their store after hours. The manager was so prompt and made it work, and I was able to give our pup the CBD oil so she can sleep tonight before going to the vets tomorrow. She is SO much more relaxed now and I can’t thank the staff and management enough! These guys truly care about their customers, even someone like me who’s never set foot in the store before 😂 Thank you so so much, please go check them out if you’re in the Spokane area!

I was in an emotional state when I walked in because my beloved dog is sick and Vet has not been able to diagnose a cause yet. I have been looking up natural remedies to try and help my dog and to switch him to a better quality food. I was at Petco first across the parking lot and received very little help and they did not have products I was looking for. I saw Urban Canine and thought why not let's go check them out. I was greeted right when I walked through the door. Was asked my dogs breed and what was going on with him? They had a wide variety of probiotics and a great selection of food. The clerk gave me some samples as well to see if my Dog would likr them. The gentleman was very knowledgeable and not a pushy salesperson. I feel he listened to my concerns and he gave me great advice. It was a nice environment and I will continue to shop there!
