Big box store version of "Installed" reflected in the attached pic. "hooked up" is the best they get. Installer had no solution for the new construction venting and expressed no desire to offer advice on a remedy.Make sure you only need "Hooked up" if you are choosing to spend your money on appliances at the big orange box.

Don't buy appliances from homedepot. My washing machine shook itself apart on the third day after delivery. Home depot has a 48 hour return policy for appliances that is designed to shirk responsibility for selling defective products. Lowes has the same policy.Buy your appliances at Costco. They give you 90 days to return appliances and they will make things right without the headache.

Wow! Jen was absolutely incredible! I stopped by HD to get treated posts and paint, but I really don’t know that much about building or what I needed. I asked the gal at the paint desk for recommendations on what kind of paint to get. I needed something for outdoors, that would withstand the elements for years. I was on a tight budget and ideally wanted it to be pink. I told her what I needed to paint (bee boxes and the lumber) and she helped me figure out how much I needed. She showed me the oopsie paint, but it was all indoor paint. So she arranged for me to call and check back for outdoor oopsie paint until they had some, since I live an hour away. I also mentioned I wasn’t sure which lumber I should get, and she helped me understand I needed untreated lumber for what I was hoping to do. I went back to get the lumber. She came to me in lumber and told me she’d just checked the back, and there was their highest quality oopsie outdoor paint afterall, and to come and talk to her after I had finished picking out my lumber. I went back and she told me to pick out a color that they’d try to match it to!!! (She’d already mentioned they DON’T do that, you get what you get.) I picked out a color, and she tried to match it. We checked several times, and she got it to a beautiful shade that I really like. I can’t wait to paint my bee boxes and the lumber for the hive stands. Jen made my shopping experience an absolute pleasure. She even explained how the paint is mixed. (Who knew there were only 18 different colorants to make the type of paint I got.) I really appreciated her help. She’s a great asset to HD! Please give her a raise! I got what should have been almost $60 paint for $9!! Wow!

Ordered for pickup online. 30 minutes in line, attitude from a worker. Confused because silly me, I thought online order a pickup would be quick and easy. Nope!!! I could have showed up, grabbed a cart and my items 89% faster. Corporate greet at its finest…‘buy and pay online and we will help you as soon as possible in store’. Joke. Don’t do it

Needed a 3 foot shop light but was having trouble finding one. Went to North Spokane Home Depot. Employee Kerry was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and took us right to one that filled the bill and was very reasonably priced. Very happy with the result.

In general I like Home Depot. Have spent a s-ton of money there. A lot of their workers don't know where things are nor do they really care. Haven't had good luck in the paint dept with matching paints.

I like shopping home depot but their staff leaves much to be desired......specifically in the curbside pick-up. When you check in to say you are.on your way, that means nothing at store. They DO NOT even attempt to get your order ready. Then when you arrive and check in, nothing. You wait and wait till finally you either have to go in or call and say where is my order. This has occurred the last 4 times we went there. What is the point of offering curbside pick up if you don't actually do it unless the customer comes in and says hey, I am here.

The manager Kyle helped me with my carpet for my bunnies cage and he was AWESOME. Great customer service and genuinely a nice guy. He was there to help right when I neeeded it and I'm very happy very thankful.

The staff seems to not know their products or really the layout of their own store. But it usually has what you need but prepare to find it for yourself. I'd recommend Lowe's.

This is a difficult one to review. First, we really like Home Depot, its close convenient and the staff is usually pretty great. However, this review is of their carpet and the specialty staff that we dealt with during our carpet installation.Back in May 2023 we made the decision to purchase new carpet for our downstairs basement. We wanted a high traffic long-life carpet and chose Home Depot because it had a free pad upgrade and free installation at the time. We had received quotes elsewhere but this was the best.We ordered and waited. We also knew a 3rd party would be doing the install. The 3rd party throughout this ordeal was fantastic to work with. They called a couple days later scheduled the install and we were excited and ready to go!When the installers showed up however, Home Depot had ordered 2 rolls of carpet. Which, normally isn't an issue but because it was patterned it likely wouldn't line up. And of course it didn't... the installers knew this when they arrived told us they would try but we should seek Home Depot to reorder a single roll. When it didn't line up we called Home Depot and barely got a response. We called the 3rd party installer who took care of the issue and was able to get Home Depot to reorder the carpet. Home Depot eventually called us back and told us that we had selected the middle of the road price option, meaning they take remnants to fill in smaller gaps/areas where the large roll can't get. We didn't know this was an option and were never told by the salesman we worked with. He gave us a price and that was that. The "expensive" option is the one roll for everything so it matches. Little disappointed at this point with the sales team and Home Depot for not explaining. We were also told by the 3rd party installers that the type of carpet we purchased shouldn't be done in such a large area because a patterned carpet doesn't always match and that Home Depot should've told us this.Two weeks later the 3rd party installers came back and installed the carpet. It looked great! The 3rd party installers were throughout extremely friendly, responsive and took a lot of care in what they did. But... the carpet after one night, started to pill in spots. We vacuumed several areas and noticed fraying and portions unraveling. We called Home Depot and got no response. Again called the 3rd party installers who were fantastic and came right out. They had extra material in the van they brought and we tried some test samples to see if other areas of the carpet not installed would fray. Sure enough, started unraveling.I was mad at this point. I went to Home Depot and straight ask for the manager. She came out and was apologetic but told me I'd need to file an insurance claim. Keep in mind we bought a carpet with a 25 year warranty and within 24 hours it was undoing in multiple locations... She asked for pictures, which I had, sent them to her and she told me she'd talk to the carpet manufacturer. Within a few hours she called me back and told me the company that manufactured the carpet didn't want to deal with it anymore and they'd refund us for the full amount.While I was pleased they were taking care of the issue, I was not happy they wouldn't offer and different type of carpet instead since this clearly wasn't working.In the end, Home Depot sales/staff regarding the carpet install was really difficult to work with which is the reason for the 3 stars, however they did make it semi-right. We ultimately went with another company to tear out and install new carpet since clearly this wouldn't last and happy we did. I would never recommend anyone purchase carpet through Home Depot. Go through an independent carpet company because they actually know what they're doing.

Always have problems with this Home Depot. And a lot of the times they don’t keep the shelves stocked and when you ask them to stock the shelf so you can buy said item, it takes a little hour for them to get to it. Literally could have gone to the Home Depot in the valley and back by the time they got help for me.

Very large home depot store with massive potential for local businesses. Must have seen about 100 different employees all over the place doing there best to be helpful, although no one ever greeted me, asked me for help, or provided any customer service. I would have thought 1 of them accidentally would have seen me and provided some Form of customer service but not this time. Therefor 4 stars, with room for improvement.

We bought a 9 drawer work bench and was told the staff would help load it onto our truck. So it was myself and my son and 2 HD employees. As they asked how we wanted to load the toolbox, I said we all lift it onto the tailgate and then lay it on its side. They said unfortunately that is against their store policy and would help load the work bench onto a trailer I could rent. I looked at my son, and we laughed. My son and I loaded the toolbox on my truck ourselves. It took less than 5 minutes. Then, the HD employees proceeded to say that didn't look too bad as they were looking at their polished nails. I think the female cashier would have been a bigger help than these 2 ❄️.

The worst store I have ever delt with! We live out of town, so I tried so many times to get answers to questions about multiple appliances we were wanting to buy! Never can reach anyone from the appliance department on the phone!!! When we finally gave up an drove into the store, we had an extremely hard time getting anyone to help us! Our old stove was hard wired a needed a receptacle box installed, they sold us the wrong one!!! Had to make another 40 mile trip into the store to exchange it! The oven came with no user/care manual. Will go to Lowe’s from now on!!!

Their main concern is fraud prevention and not customer service. Doing business with these guys is like poking a sleeping grizzly bear. They lost my money and forced me to have to go home with no money and no equipment saying they have no record of the transaction. An automated snafu that is riddled with severe kerfuffles. Keep in mind that Lowes is right down the street.*UPDATE: HOME DEPOT HAS DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL TO REMEDY THIS SITUATION AND SEEMINGLY DOES NOT CARE HOW THEIR MISTAKE HAS AFFECTED MY COMPANY. HERES THE KICKER, MY COMPANY SURVIVES AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO BECAUSE I AM A GOOD PERSON AND I WOULD NEVER WALK AWAY FROM A CUSTOMER MAKING SUCH A COMPLAINT AS I HAVE MADE HERE...DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR...WORDS TO LIVE BY. I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED A PENNY OF THAT $150 AS OF MARCH 31ST, 2024.

Absolutely amazing! I never expected to be writing a review of a Home Depot but everyone working there was so kind and positive, especially considering it was closing shift. I swear, the employees must have thought I was a celebrity or something cause they treated me so great and were talkative helpful and patient when I was full force scattered and disorganized and going in circles around the store and losing stuff. My dog also got the same amazing treatment. Even the employee collecting carts in the rain was awesome and took my cart for me even though it was only a few feet to walk and put it back.There was a guy named Kegan (I think) and an older woman working cashier who were the top but everyone else was also great.I deeply hope that if management sees this review they will consider giving everyone working on 10-15-23 between the hours of 8-9 pm ish a raise or some kind or a bonus or points to get something.

8-4-22 Wow. You need something for fixing your place? It's likely here. Plus a whole bunch of other stuff. Found the hook-up wire and the female spade connectors I needed for various projects on my car +. And I've read various other reviews for other hardware places where they will only sell a 10 foot piece of plastic pipe - HD has pieces about 2 - 3 feet long perfect for that little project around the house. Lots of associates around and helpful, had no problem finding what I wanted. Restrooms are really clean and there is a bottle of antibacterial soap at each sink, very nice -see pics

Ordered a vanity for in store pick up and box was smashed. When they brought the box it wasn't in a good shape and they said the way it was packed it should be fine. It even has a sticker on the box that says it has been inspected. We unpacked it at home to find it completely smashed. Absolutely no compensation but only more inconveniences due to the lack of customer service at home depot.

Took my little guy to their children's work shop and it was so much fun we built a valentines Day basket for mom got to put it together and paint it he had loads of fun and I would recommend it to all the parents out there it's the second Saturday of the month go on line to home depot and check it out

Whoever the manager was here today is a clown. Took 30 minutes for him to find an order online and then he transferred me to someone else to start the process all over again with no warning, just silence and then transferred me to someone else. What a waste of time.

It's a home Depot. It's like all home depots. Full of people and difficult to park. Especially right now at this location as a large portion of the parking lot is being used as an outdoor sales of vegetation items and storage items outdoor work equipment.

This is the absolute most disgraceful place... They encourage their employees to throw broken things or dieing plants away that can be saved and sold at discount so they get the full credit from the dealer . So their mission is all money they don't care their impact on global warming and they don't care about making something great available for the less fortunate who could only buy discounted things they just want to trash and get rich and richer without any remorse.. it's disgustingIt was my first time in this store in over ten years and first time at this location.Was ready to drop a couple hundred for plants for my birthday and so I was trying out this store to see how they treat their plants and if they have a moral compass.. it was made embarrassingly clear and absolutely infuriatingly clear within the very first interaction asking for help with a dieing plant I thought could possibly be saved.. it took pulling teeth to get help in the first place then the employees let me know they don't care about them dieing if they throw them away they get full amount in credit so selling it at a discount isn't worth it if someone can save it... I walked out.. do NOT shop here if you love to breath oxygen eat food or not be burned alive by the sun.. just saying

This is the first negative review I have written. I like to praise people for doing a good job. However, I feel like this is something more people should be aware of before they waste their time and money with Home Depot.My wife and I purchased almost $20,000 in new counter tops and appliances from Home Depot three weeks ago. We opted to have it delivered and installed. While at the store, Home Depot told us they could not install the stove top or fan we purchased above the stove, we agreed to purchase and either install ourselves or hire someone to do it for us.We also purchased a dishwasher and fridge to replace our broken and outdated ones. After waiting three weeks, the contractors they hired informed us that policy states they are unable to install the dishwasher (pictured) because of the angle in relation to the sink. I asked the contractor why this was the case? He explained, Home Depot is in fear of the dishwasher leaking and causing damage. What I heard them say was, Home Depot does not stand by their work or hire the caliber of personnel they can trust to do a good job. This is unsatisfactory!!!After an hour of waiting and talking with the contractors they hired, we viewed the fridge and dishwasher to be delivered once they were removed from the truck and ready to be brought in the house. The dishwasher was leaking oil and warped, and the fridge was warped and in disrepair.If you weren't aware, Home Depot has a policy that they will not pick up delivered items after 48 hours. They wanted to deliver our other items, knowing that most likely the broken items would not be discovered in the required time because the contractors they hired could not install them. Why are we paying so much from them to not do their job??I can't believe they would try and deliver broken items and then not install them as agreed. We are going to cancel our order first thing in the morning.In addition to all of this, they DO NOT accept military discount on appliances.Buyer beware!Update 10 May 2022: We have been to Home Depot four times and called numerous times to cancel our order. Our order still has not been refunded. We were told four days ago to come back in for a fifth time with our debit card so they could refund our order. Despite all of our efforts the order has not been fully canceled or refunded. When we called, we remained polite, despite the rude behavior of the woman we talked to. They told us to call back in a few days to see if our cancellation went through. I have been canceling this order over and over again for weeks. I don’t understand why this is so difficult. Cancel the order and refund our money so we can buy these appliances somewhere else.
