Update: Went there today and there was security on patrol, the outside was clean and was a very nice place to shop! Thank you management for caring about your store.2 months ago: The employees are wonderful and the deli is delicious. The trash and vagrants are horrid, it needs cleaned up.

The last 4 times I have come to this store, the registers have been closed. My cart is full and I have to do self chech out. I have freash vegetables and not sure how to do it. Then I have cupons and they have to come over any how to put them in. The cashier was so rude that I was needing help. It took me 25 minutes to check out. So stressed. Im not paid to check my self out, im paying for this service with the price I'm paying for my groceries. Ive never felt so upset just pucking up groceries

Got my shopping done in a very short amount of time. Found everything that I needed. My cashier today was Jesse, she was so sweet, friendly and kind. All cashiers out there need to be like her!

I shop here daily - due to the convenience in the proximity of its location to my place of residence. Although their prices are often considerably higher than their competitors, bargains can be found with the utilization of the online Safeway app. The facility is clean and their quality is noticably superior in the bakery, produce and meat depts. Staff are friendly & helpful. Store Hours :-open at 6 am-close at 11 pm* most Safeway stores are open 5 am to 12 midnight.

Little sketch per the usual, but close to home and have decent sales on some items. No hand baskets b/c folks steal them- so, have to use a cart or your hands lol. Great store to shop and people watch - definitely need to keep your eyes peeled inside and outside, to and from your car. It is conveniently located, just a bad street corner to be on, but not much you can do.

ALWAYS closing customer service early. its not tough to keep someone available to man the counter when needed. avista says they handle utilities payments, safeway insists they dont. on top of this the food is all twice as much as it is as winco. why even stop at safeway? lucky they have friends in government or they'd be out of business already!

Both Google and company website say they open at 5, but they just haven't bothered to change that information and let their customers just hang outside at 5am because when I called, they don't open till 6 now... not doing the simple things that they should have done cause some customers to change habits, like me....No more Safeway!

I’m so outraged with this company’s lack of training within their security I live close to this Safeway and I tend to shop there often tonight I stopped by and I’m causually shopping when I noticed I’m being followed , I am a young black woman so I become very panicky . He followed me everywhere in the store making me feel extremely uncomfortable and when I got up to pay I asked the woman if he worked their and she stated he was security, I was not the only one shopping in the store the only difference from me and the other shoppers was that I was a black woman. When I mentioned that was down right racial profiling she said it had been a long night . I have been going to this Safeway for about 2 years now and I will be calling corporate and letting them know exactly how their staff are.

Because of it's location, I shop here 4-5 times per week. Sometimes multiple trips per day. Most of the staff is amazing. It is always scary after dusk. Sketchy people in the parking lot, along the side of building, standing in door way, along entire store front, gathered in parking lot. Not a single one put in an application to work at the store. Just guessing.The store tries. The issues at this store, are because of the majority of the homeless in the neighborhood. Not all but most have no sense of pride of respect or appreciation for the city they live in. Perfect example Camp... Hope.Don't come here if your a softie. You'll be bankrupt before you hit the meat section. The entire city is dealing with the same issues tho. This Safeway is doing all it can to keep customers safe.The managers here need to have a team meeting about dusting shelves and facing products (lower shelves especially) So that customers can see the products aren't out of stock. I've often ended down on the ground dirtying up my clothes. To reach the products I was shopping for. Not getting paid for it. Pulling products forward, to 'face' them, for other customers. No one wants to go to another store because the one thing is out of stock. I've learned here, crawl down and look. It's probably three. Someone's manager didn't delegate or clarify who's job that is.Bakery -I'm not sure why everyone compliments their bakery. French bread says made today. You could hit a home run easily if you used it as a bat. It's so hard.Deli- hit and miss.Meat dept- awesome sales, fresh meat.Produce-also pretty amazing.Guy that usually sits at front 1st register nights, That guy is Rockstar

This place has a lot of sketchy people around. Its no wonder its got shady people w like 4 homeless shelters near by. But overall I love shopping here. I used 2 shop here all the time when I was homeless w my kiddos at salavation army. Always have new and interesting products. Ive never had a bad experience here!!

Clean. There are lots of homeless people in the parking lot that try and pan handle. I had one try to get in my wife's face this past summer, and I thought I was going to have to throw hands with him. I understand everyone has struggles, but they don't need to be so rude and aggressive. It only happened once, but my wife won't go there at night alone if she can help it.Other then that, the store is a typical Safeway. Friendly staff, clean isles, high prices... typical Safeway

The man working in the pharmacy was amazing! I went to get to my flu shot and covid booster. He was super friendly and attentive. He redirected my partner to another pharmacy (per his medical insurance) but had tried his best to make it work at Safeway. He deserves a raise, let me know when you need his name.

I would give it a zero if I could. Stopped there after work today. Never again. The parking lot is full of shady people who came up to my car asking for money as soon as I parked. Felt very uncomfortable walking inside with all the activity in the parking lot. As soon as I entered the store the security guard blocked my way, and when I said I was coming in to shop and needed a cart he just slightly moved aside and told me that lots of people have been shoplifting and to keep my eyes peeled. The shelves are very disorganized. The one cashier had a huge line, so I went to self check out Roxanne (a worker yelled at me) cause the floor was wet but no sign was out. The way she talked to her coworker cleaning the area was awful. I will go out of my way to go to a safer better organized store.

This place needs shut down. So many homeless makings the place go bankrupt and in a college community that makes the drop out rate skyrocket. Poor kids. This store must be super busy though because nobody not even the pharmacy seems to be able to answer the phone to refill a prescription. Everyone is always on a 30min lunch break 10hrs a day. Just close this place already

Public bathrooms are closed really unprofessional waited outside the bathroom for a few minutes holding my pee in and someone finally came up and told me they’re closed. Youre a grocery store that has no public bathroom. Oh and the left side doors are closed

Honestly not my favorite place. I never feel safe shopping here because of the large numbers of sketchy-looking people loitering outside the doors. The store has signs that say no loitering or panhandling but I have never seen any of the staff make an effort to enforce those rules. As a young woman, this location does not seem safe to me. The store needs to do a better job keeping the homeless and drug addicts out of their parking lot.

Good customer service as long as they have employee's in the store. Lines halfway down the isle with self checkout and 1 cashier is just craziness. Took me 10 minutes to get threw the line and had to go get the attention of the attendant to get my game pieces, who was talking with another employee. Thank goodness everyone in tree self help line didn't need help and knew what they were doing.

I stop here occasionally on my way to visit my mom, ONLY because of the convenient location. This store still has only one entryway open. Which is the smaller of the two entryways. You can barely get a cart because of everybody exiting & entering in the same small area. The employees have no urgency in what they do. They'll have you wait while they sit at customer service & gossip with other employees/customers. They hover over you while you do their job(checking out), and expect you to be, ever so grateful for them to do their job & ring up your purchase. Today was the kicker, with Bredan, as our cashier, and how rude he was when my daughter started to have a panic attack in his line because the manager wasn't coming to help with an override (busy talking) & the gentleman behind us crowded into close, while the man in front of us couldnt leave because he was waiting on managment. So we couldn't move anywhere! He rolled his eyes, when I asked if he would please go ask the manager to come do the override instead of having the employee who was bagging to get her! He then threw our fruit across the scanner to the employee bagging! He sighed loudly when I gave him a coupon, as to suggest, I was putting him out making him do his job!

Dirty, dingy, shelves are disorganized, junkies hang out near the entrance and hassle you for money, really sad because this store used to be a lot nicer when I was a kid now its just depressing. The store feels dark and claustrophobic with only one open entrywayWay too expensive for how awful it is to shop here.
