This place needs 0 stars! It SMELLS so bad in this store! Smells like rotten meat and like something died in there! Doesn’t matter when I’ve come to this store is always smells TERRIBLE! I would NEVER buy meat here due to the smell! The store is dirty! I don’t know how they haven’t been inspected by state inspection! Absolutely disgusting! Idk how this store remains open. Prices are also outrageous!

Jaydon was on point today at the deli!!! Without hesitation, the sandwich bar was not set up. He had to run to produce. He had to hand cut meat and let me say my sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had! His smile his attitude was nothing less than five stars! Jaydon, you’re the reason why I shop there thank you so much buddy.

The place does not have great costumer service the store is not organized, the produce not at the spot they tell they are. You can't use restroom due to drug problems. For some of few most have to suffer.

Woman working at self checkout at 3:50pm on 12/6/23 was really rude and impolite when one of the checkouts crashed on me. I stood there for several minutes and she never once smiled, apologized for the inconvenience or anything. In fact she looked very annoyed and I finally took it upon myself to go to another checkout and Re-ring all of my items and when I needed her to come back to the new checkout, she walked away and told me to wait, and then assisted a different customer when she got back and made me wait. Unbelievable customer service-someone needs to talk to her.

Im a shopper for instacart, needed to go to the bathroom. They do not have restrooms for their customers. Had to leave and then come back. WILL NOT be shopping here ever again.

The customer service from the employees here is bottom of the barrel as far as the Safeway brand goes. Luckily the heavily crackhead customer base stealing from the store allows for them the find new employees to hire.

I think there working on it. Just wish they'd work on the prices lol. Day crew is cleaner and friendlier it seems like. The store this morning seemed cleaner than it is at night. The self checkout machines were nice and clean which I love. At night there gross and nobody will clean them. To many zombies at night also🤣. Security guy is cool 2.

Went shopping there with 4 kids and in the middle of my shopping trip my kids had to potty . They no longer have a public bathroom. I get you can’t trust homeless drug addicts but cmon…use your discernment. I’m not gonna I’d in the bathroom with 4 kids. Ridiculous.

I don't usually go to this grocery store considering it's out in the valley and I live on the South Hill. But I can tell you the workers are amazing and wonderful and you can tell they really enjoy their jobs. They all provided great customer service with an authentic kindness and smile on their face. I actually felt like I was in an upscale type of grocery store but the prices were not upscale they were really affordable and fair. They had a lot of really cool little items that other grocery stores don't carry such as the plant section was really top-notch and cool. They had a lot of plants that I haven't even seen at nurseries around here. And the price of the plants at other places would have been 50 bucks only $19.99 there at yokes. All their produce was beautiful and not old. The fresh of the freshest it seemed. Their meat looked amazing. The deli had really good choices. And I like the organization of the store and the store layout. I know they have other Yokes and other locations in Spokane Washington and just due to my curiosity I'm going to check them out and I'll let you guys know the deal on those stores also.

The store and most employees are great. It's the demographic of people that are not great, which is not the stores fault. Therefore, I still state 4 stars. This location is convenient, which brings in unwanted attention from transient people and drug/ alcohol induced patrons. Again, it's not the stores fault. They have great sale prices. I would not eat the deli food as it's not changed often enough as an employee commented when I stated a thigh was very small, "that's because it shrunk after sitting so long". Not appetizing and I politely declined ordering food from the deli. It all looked like it had been sitting there the whole day. Other than that, most of the items in the store are good to go.

This store had a cool selection of groceries. Their meat department is stacked. Be safe the parking lot can be sketchy but that's thanks to the awesome open acceptance of drug use and all the rights a person has over sober well behaving and responsible citizens. 🤔😑

This Safeway location must be the lowest form of what a Safeway franchise will accept for business standards. Unfriendly staff, forced self check out, several popular items not in stock, drug addict bathroom lights, the list goes on. I will 100% absolutely be taking the extra 5 minutes to go to Walmart from now on. Today was the last straw

usually good experiences here, everyone is cracked out so i don't have to have much conversation. docked a star because there was a live chicken eating the fried chicken which put me off a little. And, the butcher declined my request to just take that chicken home. I had to sneak in later to get him. the whole experience made me go vegetarian, which you can say is good or bad. i now have a chicken friend named john.

Needed to use the bathroom but no public bathrooms, so tired of this happening.. Hire some security like market Safeway and actually treat your paying customers like human beings.. Never will I shop there again, or will my girls be selling girl scout cookies in front of this store if there is no bathroom for them to use.Very disappointing..

That pizza is only 5 bucks at winco. 2 expensive. Everytime I go there I feel like I'm getting ripped off. Save your money and go to winco or Walmart u get WAY more for same price. Probably the most ghetto Safeway I've been 2. Im really not trying to be rude just saying. I've gone to the store for way to long so I know lol. They make it seem like your getting a deal if your a member but your not. Most the ppl that work there seem unhappy and are not real friendly.

The lady at customer service could care less. Was overcharged 9$ for 1 item, tried the mobile order and they substituted a 4.99 item for a 29$ item. How is that a substitution? That's just highway robbery. Shame on Safeway for not caring anymore about customers experiences.

Good clearance items sometimes, good sales sometimes. It's a good idea to get signed up, those digital deals are real good. Cheep chicken Mondays. There's a weird high pitched sound in the store though, kinda drives me crazy.

Really annoying of you to close one exit and leave no signage until you get there. Put up a sign letting customers leaving checkout know that that entrance can't be used; stop wasting our time.

My experience here was really bad based on the fact that I went in with my boyfriend and he was purchasing alcohol we are both 21 I just didn’t have my purse or wallet on me so I knew from other store policies not to touch the alcohol. I had a picture of my id in which I told the lady BECKY that I could show her because she was asking for my ID when I wasn’t the one purchasing the alcohol. She proceeded to say that I needed to show my ID. She claimed she couldn’t look at the picture of my ID even though I wasn’t the one purchasing it . I really feel like I was racially profiled because we both are African American and automatically their response was that they were going to call the police. I honestly feel like she has no customer service and might be racist because in my opinion just by the way she was acting towards me and my boyfriend. She ended up not selling my boyfriend the alcohol and we didn’t get the the receipt for the refund. We asked for the receipt and Becky made a big deal over it trying to claim we didn’t make a purchase so there was no need for a receipt. The manager was eventually called in which we got the receipt but he also threatened to call the police . I honestly feel like they might be racist and that me and my boyfriend was racially profiled .

I've always loved safeway, I love their baked chicken legs and the chow mein they have in the deli it's my favorite meal to have when I go. The store is clean and I usually don't have any issues with the people that work there or shop there. But the parking lot is another story as all of them are almost been run over a few times. They have a good selection of products both fresh and frozen and you get points when you shop there which leads so only off gas and we all know we want that with the way prices are going. You just have to sigh up and become a memeber and boom eve ry 100 points or so is like 10¢ and I think it's up to a dollar off that you can get. So definitely a plus for me when I'm shopping and even more since it also works are Albertsons since they are partners or owned by safeway I can't remebr but it doubles your chances of building up them points =)
