This is for the pharmacy... they are inconsiderate and lazy... there is always a problem ever since Tim and the other pharmacists left it has been worse experience and all I want is my meds... which I'm notified by text... soooooo why would there be any issues at pick up...I really shouldn't have to talk to yall at all... if you were doing your job... soooooo here is your review... do better pharmacy people... the rest of the store is a 4 on most days... but the pharmacy ad is 2024 is less than 1 but that's the lowest you can go

I really don't know how they are able to stay in business. A small box of lucky charms 6.49 - yokes it 4.29Wally world and winco even cheaper than Yokes. Staff is excellent.

Love the Safeway pharmacy but it can sometimes have long lines. The store is always clean and fairly well stocked.

It's a smaller store and usually has everything I need. I prefer more economical grocery stores, but there are a few things I can only get at Safeway or Yoke's, and if it's not on sale, the prices are crazy high!!Today was odd. I arrived about 1pm on a boring Friday at the end of the month. Like most stores, the aisles are clean and tidy. It was bright and inviting, but the meat counter seemed to be missing some items, and others were simply very low in stock. Example: there was a single pork roast, one enormous bone-in pork roast. Maybe they had an issue with refrigeration and everything was cleared out that morning?? Maybe there was a recall I don't know about? Oddly, even the items they had in stock in the meat cooler seemed sparse at best. Very odd. I'll go back just to check it out again.

When ever I go into a store, my goal is to be out of it in a reasonable time to keep efficient. This is normally the case when I go to this Safeway. However there is this one female clerk that always leaves you frustrated due to the discourteous behavior. I've been a regular shopper,but this time, despite the absence of a limit on the deal's tag, the clerk argued on a limit for my purchase of 36 “12pk packs sodas”. She refused to scan the items and called the supervisor, who was equally unhelpful and dismissive.I tried to explain my regular purchases and the deal's usual terms, but they seemed unmoved. It was only when I entered my phone number, proving my point, that they acknowledged the deal was valid. Their failure to apologize for the inconvenience caused was disappointing and when I said. “I told you”, the supervisor accused me of having attitude even though she was clearly in the wrong. Should you really be a supervisor if you don’t even know the price structure of your own merchandise? For once I thought about leaving my full shopping cart with over $300 of merchandise there and leave, but then I resisted the thought knowing that a minimum wage worker would have to restock it on the shelves againHowever, the time that they wasted was equally compensated through the satisfaction I got in proving them wrong and the looks of embarrassment on their faces. That being said. there is a need for better customer service and a deeper understanding of their deals among the store staff. It would be beneficial if the management provided further education to avoid such conflicts in the future.

The workers were phenomenal. I had a stroke a few years ago and have mobility issues. I'd gotten about half of my shopping done when I physically couldn't go on. One of the young men tonight went and got me a mobile scooter to finish my shopping. He was wonderful as well as the there people who helped to price, package and help us with our groceries to my car. I wish I would have gotten their names. Exceptional workers all and it was all at the end of they're shifts. Thank you so much! Exceptional service!

Wow that's lame for a single father of four just lost my job and only have a credit card that's still good I had to use it on WIC food because their pad was down at a couple of cash registers.and they still indorce me to pay with credit card the dude sat their like if he was waiting for something magical to happen

Wanted to take some time to thank our cashier, Christy, who was so incredibly friendly to everyone she assisted. She had such a positive attitude and recommended some tasty dinner ideas for the chicken we bought. Our day was brightened by her sunny, kind soul. :)

I’m giving 5 stars for the Safeway pickup employee. She does an amazing job and is always friendly. My groceries are bagged organized by freezer items, refrigerated items and so on. She also doesn’t give nearly expired produce like many other store pickups do, as they try to get rid of those to customers who are not in store to pick them out. I really appreciate that!!!

Just a great store. Comparable prices wth their signature brand products. I get my meds here and they let me know when I'm ready for a refill! The deli is also very good! Great Chinese food and other... yum! Meats, bakery and produce are always good too!Update 8/4/23- I still get my meds here and their produce can't b beat but I don't know how anybody that makes a regular wage can afford to shop here. I'm on a fixed income and I can't afford 20$ everytime I go to buy a few things. 😣Update 11/18/23: new guy in the deli is horrible. Unfriendly and undersizes meals...

I do not suggest the bakery for custom cakes for parties.I put in a order about 3 weeks prior to my childs party date. Sent them a picture of how I wanted the cakes. I went in the day of to pick the cakes/cupcakes up. They wernt ready. They looked nothing like how the reference picture lookd like ( im pretty chill/ it wouldnt of had to look EXACTLY like the picture- however it was just basic base frosting-not the color i wanted! With the kids name on top smh) and i needed them for the party so i got stuck with them. The lady was rude when i picked them up from her.Then when we were at the party and i pulled a ring out of a cupcake a hair came out with it!However the lady who took our order was great! She was super sweet and friendly- it was a different lady there when i picked them up. Ive never had issues with any other area of the store. When I ordered basic cupcakes from there for the kids school- those came out good. Highly disappointed for the actual cakes tho. The ones that mattered the most!Def. Will not be back for custom cakes.

Safeway has the same problems with management that have held it back for the last 30 years. It could be so much better. Unless you have to go here, you are better off going to Yokes or Rosauers for a grocery store of a similar grade and will get better customer service, better prices, better products, better selection, and be shopping completely local.

I find myself shopping less and less here since in the evening they lock one entrance/exit and then block the remaining entrance with shopping carts, routing entering customers through the crowded exiting self-checkout customers. (this was extra-awkward during covid...)Then last week I was shopping in the evening and needed to use the restroom but they had signs up that restrooms were "closed for maintenance". I asked the two cashiers if there was a restroom available in the back but they said no restrooms were available, their practice is to lock all restrooms after a certain time and no one there has a key. I suspect not even providing restrooms to your own employees could be illegal if that is what is happening. But reader beware.And our name still comes up as someone else on all receipts using our phone number for rewards, something Safeway hasn't been able to fix via management, online, etc. after multiple attempts.

Excellent customer service! The cashier was great! The box boy was very helpful (except accidentally putting the ice cream in the back of the truck!). Everyone was very nice! So glad to be done with the mask BS! Great store! Will definitely be back! Lots of 10 for $10 deals!

Tuesdays night stop by to get a box of kcups of coffee. 6:11pm waited in line at the SELF check out for 16 minutes……. While employees stand around watching us check ourselves out making sure we don’t steel anything 🤨 not one employee offered to open a lane.

Good prices and friendly staff. Not a fan of self checkout. I feel like I'm being judged no matter how nice I dress and always under watch. I prefer waiting for a checkout employee to do it. Plus it adds to the experience

Every time I go into Safeway the prices have gone up higher and higher. This particular trip I went to the deli and got the Shanghai meal. Was not that long ago that you could get it on sale for 999. Regular price was 1199. Now it is 1599 and you get less food. Today the young man behind the counter didn’t have the proper size container so he just eyeballed the amount he put in. When we got home and went to serve it up, it was close to half of the serving portion size that we normally get. So increase your cost with smaller portions? Not a great way to go Safeway!. While we’re on the subject of the Shanghai meal or any of the deli items, you probably want to get there before 5 PM because they stop cooking and start cleaning up and you only get what’s left over from the day.

Changing my 4-star review to a one-star review. I used to like this store but going here I find myself more annoyed than anything. The checkers are very rude and unfriendly. Most of them have no personality whatsoever. I also was with my husband in the meat department and the employee there yelled do you need help? When a woman said yes another employee walked to the counter and said " what can I not help you with?" My husband and I looked at each other and shock like did he just say that? When the lady asked for something in the case they pointed her to the already stocked case and told her to get her stuff from there . She looked and then she came back and said I don't want those ones I want the fresh ones and the guy gave her straight attitude. at one time worked for Safeway and it was in a different city that was crazy busy and chaotic. I found myself screaming in the parking lot before work because I hated my job that much and moving over here I thought it was different. It was that's why I gave it a four-star review initially the people used to be very nice and friendly and now it has changed so much. You can tell the employees hate their jobs. Also don't order any cake from this place it's so gross we threw it away

Horrible customer service, took way to long and missed some of my groceries that I had to go up and help out the rest, I didn't use self checkout for a reason, please train checkstand workers to pay attention to what customers are buying and make sure they get into the shopping bag. With all these rules and self checkout you would think they would have better attention to detail. And no I don't Wana hear your life story while I am paying for my groceries...

I went here for a travel vaccine and was reminded why I don’t use Safeway for prescriptions. While the travel vaccine specialist was helpful and informative and looked into any questions I had, they told me my insurance didn’t cover my vaccine without checking to see if they had my current insurance beforehand. Also the pay stations were a bit confusing. I was told to go to one from the waiting room and to meet my pharmacist there. Another pharmacy tech named Tim kind of barked at me to step away as I arrived. This may have been for privacy to the other person, but then why have two pay stations right next to each other…. Like I said, confusing!

In a world returning to normal, it was refreshing to be vacationing away from home... and still find a Safeway that practices bringing groceries out to my car.Posting this a bit overdue, for a visit made in late July, 2022. But I really wanted to remember our grocery deliverer, Danny, for doing such a thoughtful and deliberately good job. Keep up the good work!

I worked here for 2 years as a courtesy clerk, cashier, and every now and then filling in a few other jobs. The management and staff is great so it’s good to know that you are supporting good business. As for people interested in a job, like I said, coworkers are great but you have to work, it’s not always an easy or “fun” job. If you like a little bit of short term intense stress that is perfect. Front end, Deli, Starbucks, Bakery, and assistant store director are all great, can’t really speak to the other managers too much as I don’t know them too well/they started working there just before I quit (store director). The reason I left was to pursue a medical career.

Love how many organic options available here. The aisles were wide, well-stocked and there were no lines to leave. I was there at 5:40 p.m. on a Wednesday.
