Excellent care and service for our 3 Samoyeds. It's like doggy daycare for them and they get so excited when we pull into the parking lot. Very friendly staff and they do an excellent job of wash and grooming. Other places we have tried do not compare to River City Grooming. We have been using them for several years now.

Absolutely amazing! I brought 2 shorter haired huskies here and they did a phenomenal job. One of our little ladies is a very timid shy girl and they assured me they went slow because it was her first time, they wanted her to get used to the process. Im also super glad they kept our girls together, as the timid one feels safer with her big sister near. Both of our girls were super happy! They smell amazing and are SO soft! Will definitely be a regular here.

They do such a great job grooming our long coat Japanese akita and always trim her up just like we ask. We’ve been coming for a couple years now and she loves going! Thank you River City Grooming!

Upon arrival, my father noticed 4-5 small and large dogs running around in the grooming area, and a large dog with his paws on the front desk. The odor from all the dogs was very strong. After 2 1/2 hours, when picking up his dog, Fabio, he only had a bath with very little hair trimmed, and a funny dog smell to him. On the drive home, Fabio seemed very traumatized. For $70 plus a tip, this place was very disappointing. After a recommendation from a friend, my father will continue looking, as he will never return here.

I had a great grooming experience here! It was my puppy’s first time so I was really nervous, especially since there were quite a few dogs there but it all went well! They also did an amazing job on my doodle and gave him a fantastic cut! I included a before and after.

Quality and care! We have gone through so many groomers with our doodle Bailey and everyone has just shaved her and didn’t take the time to properly groom her and shaving her down was more simple. That was NOT the case here. They took the time to really make our Bailey look like a doodle. They brushed her and gave her that beautiful doodle groom. They exceeded all expectations!!! The staff was also kind and informative. Thank you for doing such an AMAZING job. We have found our forever groomer and you have gained a loyal customer. Thank you thank you❤️

We’ve brought our dog here probably about 4 times now and he always comes out so handsome! He is very anxious and needs lots of TLC but they still take him back and give him the best treatment. It’s embarrassing how anxious he is, but they do so well with him and he always comes out looking, feeling, and smelling so good!!

What a great place to take your pet! I needed to change groomers because mine retired. I took my 12 year old ShitZu in for a bath and a clip. I hate to admit it, but I don’t know if Randi or Brie did the grooming! (My first time there). I DO know that my pup looked amazing! When I went to pick her up she was running free in the shop with the other pups having a ball! She wasn’t stressed out at all. The grooming is one of the best! Thank you River City Grooming! We have found our new “spa” for Echo. You did a great job and we’ll be back. Highly recommend this place! The dogs love it!

The best groomer I’ve ever taken my dog to! Everyone was super kind and understanding. My dog came out looking beautiful! I wish I had taken before and after pictures to show just how much she changed! They did more for her than any other groomer I’ve taken her to. On top of that it also cost considerably less than I had expected, which was honestly just the cherry on top of everything else! Highly recommend taking your pup here!

This was our first visit and we had such a good experience. Very friendly and caring staff. Our dogs are very attached to each other and they were allowed to stay together. We have one that is very anxious and she was handled gently and with loving care. All services that we asked for were completed. The best part was they did not smell like the strong scent of perfume that you get from other groomers! They were just clean! We have found a new grooming home for our pets!

I am happiest when my dogs are happy. Last time I visited this place, guess where my dog was? Waiting in a kennel? No. Playing on the floor with others? No. She was under the desk. Under the front desk. Any water or treats or safety under there???This WAS a 5 star review. I loved going here. I’ve been a loyal customer visiting every 4-6 weeks for a year, always tipping 20% and always arriving on time for every appointment.Then I responded to a survey for feedback after our January visit last time. I explained how disappointed I was at not being greeted politely and that I thought the owner would be interested in my experience.I HAD posted publicly a 5 star review, right here on Google.When I had a bad experience recently and provided my feedback in a SURVEY, in the spirit of good communication to a local business I was proud to patronize, I got banned.They told me I was no longer welcome because I wrote a “nasty review.”No I didn’t.I responded to a survey after my last appointment. A survey. Asking about my experience. So I shared.When I visited today people smiled and said good morning.They seemed like they had adjusted their behaviors.Guess not. Guess the boss has decided she can pick her customers. Rude.Jeez if you don’t want to hear about your customers experience maybe don’t send out surveys.

I love how the pups get to mingle after getting a bath instead of being put in a crate to wait to be picked up. I highly recommend their de-shed treatment if you have a furbaby that sheds a lot! My girl sheds year round and even though I can't expect her to not shed even after a bath - she always feels so amazingly clean and soft when I get her home and wont shed for at least a week (lol)! Wonderful staff and affordable too!

Took my mom's dog Lucy (my mom passed away) here. I've never owned a dog that needed a haircut so I wasn't sure what to do or expect. They were super nice, helped me decide which cut to get for Lucy, reasonably priced, and Lucy looks great!

Took my puppy here for his first groom, was met with nice staff and fun well kept doggies for my boy to play with. We discussed everything up front and he was done quicker than expected!He had a lot of fun and looks dapper! We will be back!

I have a very hard to handle pound puppy, but the ladies at River City were so patient and careful with him. My Two puppies look better than they have ever looked before when they are done with them. I highly recommend them and I'm pretty sure that as long as they're grooming dogs, I'll be goig back. Very reasonable prices too.

Very friendly and welcoming, I love that the dogs get to run around and play while waiting for grooming or to be picked up. My boy looked and smelled great, and they saw how badly he was shedding and gave him a de-shedding treatment that he desperately needed. It used to rain dog hair whenever we pet him, but he hasn’t lost a single hair since coming back from the groomer. Highly recommend!

Pup always comes home cleaned and cut looking and smelling great. Never seems upset and always will to go in the store. I have never had a complaint taking our dog here and unlike other places throughout the north side and south hill they are consistent in the quality of the wash and cut.

Prior to scheduling an appointment for our Shz tzu, I read reviews of was pleased with the responses from the owner. I like how the furr babies mingle freely. Cooper left River City grooming with an outstanding look.

Randi provided great grooming for our two dogs. She was patient when our Pom got cranky, put him down for a break, then finished with him being cooperative. Our American Eskimo is quite timid but she did well here. And, they were really happy to meet all the other dogs on the floor..
