The food selection is always the highest quality. Staff is very knowledgeable about their products. We have the luxury of working with Eva a lot and she is always a joy and so helpful. We have three dogs with special need diets and Prairie Dog always has what we are looking for to keep our pups happy and healthy.A great resource for all things dogs and cats!

We love visiting Prairie Dog to pick up all our favorite Steve’s Real Food raw patties and freeze dried. They have all the flavors our dogs love and they will special order bulk boxes for us when we really want to stock up!

I am really disappointed there is no indication anywhere online that this is a limited stock store compared to their south hill location. Everything indicates, from google maps, yelp, to their website, that the stock is the same at both locations. I double checked their website to make sure the Kendall yards location carried what I needed only to be told otherwise after getting there.

They're very knowledgeable about what products will work best for your animal. Their merchandise is quality stuff. They took a lot of time explaining their products and didn't try to hard sell anything. In fact she recommended that we attended a training session that we'd signed up for with a different company before purchasing a certain collar or harness to see what the trainers recommended. Definitely will get our business in the future.

They're expensive but deal in quality food treat and pet accessories. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. This is a great place to go especially if you have a pet with allergies or gut issues.

I've been a previous customer of this store but after my rude treatment this evening, not going again and not recommending to friends or BnB guests. I didn't realise it was five minutes till closing when I asked about coming in. I got a rude, "yeah, we close in 5 minutes". I was going to buy $50-100 worth of pet products and be in and out but ok, if you don't want people in the store 5 til close I suggest you lock the door. And retrain your employees on how to convey information. And if that was the owner who said it then definitely not coming back.

Super cute little pet store. Very friendly staff. If they don’t have what you’re looking for they know where to get it. Lots of fun items. Natural medication, pet foods, clothing, and accessories. Most things you will need for your furry friend.I was in looking for some things specific the other day. They didn’t have it, but they knew exactly who would. Give me great recommendations. Top notch pet store - very friendly and helpful. They have raw dog and cat food from several suppliers, including Steve's. Street parking can be hit-or-miss, but you can always park at Fresh Market and walk over. I visit several times per month.

Visited this location for the first time ever a few weeks ago and was very impressed with the overall selection of food, treats and toys for dogs AND cats. We picked out a new toy for our golden and not only is it still intact (big win!) but it’s his favorite toy. We will definitely be back.

I was waiting for the framing shop to open this morning, so I stopped into Prairie Dog Merc to look around. I have been on the lookout for a higher quality food for my pups, and I had a feeling PDM would have a good selection. They did indeed. I looked at the brands and started googling them to try determine the quality. At that point, the young women working the counter came up and asked if I had questions. I didn't expect what happened next: holy cow did this woman know her stuff! She knew exactly what was in each bag--every variety for each manufacturer. She knew all about dry food versus raw and grain free versus grain inclusive. She was up on legumes, probiotics, sources of nutrients, digestive processes, carbs, sugars, fats, protein, and fillers! All I could say was, why the heck haven't I come here sooner? I've spent hours and hours poring over the Dog Food Adviser and anything else I can find, and I still don't feel confident I'll be picking the right brand. To talk with someone who was so knowledgable really left me feeling confident that I was getting the product and the quality I wanted. The best part was I did not feel pressured or judged at all to go in one direction or the other. PDM has instantly earned my loyalty. I HIGHLY recommend!!!!

The lady in there was super helpful and sweet. Very educated on what to get for our cat. Such a well stocked store for cats and dogs and has a lot of natural products which I'm happy about. Overall, a great first experience and will definitely be back.

Went in near closing time. Very nice lady helped me out tremendously by narrowing down what I needed for my Titten-tat. And within my budget. She shared a wealth of needed information with me before I got on my way. Very quaint store. Lots of goodies Perfect part of town! Didn't have to fight Division or S. Hill etc. *KUDOS for placing a Pet Store where it was grossly needed!! KUDOS*

A wonderful, local pet store that really seems to care about your pets overall health. They have a fun variety of treats in bulk and in bags, as well as great looking toys and food. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and our pup was beyond excited to be there.

I went here to avoid the big chains and was not disappointed! Eva was so nice and friendly and measured my pup reily to make sure the harness I bought her would fit. She also gave me some dog treats to take home for my dog. 10/10 will be going back.

This is a premium pet store. Unique and unusual products for every pet owner. It will be very easy to find amazing chew toys, pellets, even products requiring refrigeration. Fresh foods. The South Hill location is my favorite dog boutique is the Spokane area, so I was thrilled to see that they were going to open a new location closer to me. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and even though the store is quite a bit smaller than their other location, they still manage to have an excellent selection.

I had rushed to get there one night and got in right before closing. I was on a mission to get a certain brand of dog biscuit and then I saw the Christmas dog toys that were on sale (of course, I start squeaking them). Anyway I wrapped it up but the sales rep was so nice and she didn't have to be!
