So we just had our first grooming session with our new dog, Taro.. and let me just say.. Stylist HOPE, you are AMAZING!! He is perfectly groomed for the warmer weather, unlike when I botched his grooming job when I attempted it myself. As long as Hope is grooming dogs here, we will be going to her! 10/10 great experience with great stylists. Even with my old family dog Milo, we only have had great experiences here at Petco grooming. You can trust that your babies will be in good hands here, and again, I recommend Hope! We love petco. They have everything we need to meet our pets' needs. We personally enjoy their Royal Canin food for our animals. They do get random shipping of the type of food, but they usually get what we need. The staff is friendly as well and most of them are pretty knowledgeable also. Below are pictures of presents we got for them last Christmas and sleeping after full content bellies.

Cashier was excellent. They need better care for the reptiles. Sand doesn't belong in a bearded dragon enclosure. Use non adhesive shelf lining, tiling, or even paper towel. This goes for the crested geckos and leopard geckos as well. It gives them eye infections. And they should carry dubia roaches. The vet part was not finished being built.

We bring both of our dogs together and all of the staff are so kind to them. One is a husky and she’s A LOT. Tia does a terrific job taking care of them:they are happy, healthy, and beautiful when we pick them up. We won’t go anywhere else.

Had a scheduled appointment for grooming. Arrived 15 minutes before the appointment time was treated less than cordially to comments from the groomer of "oh they are early." Was told that it would take about 3 hours to complete this grooming, which was fine for me. Went back in 3&half hours later to check on status of my dog and was told that as they had many walk in customers that they were behind, and would be about another-2& half more hours my dog spent over 7 hours before they called me that she was done. Granted she can get very long hair with mats but she had very few at this point. Even at year worst in 7 years it has never taken more than 3 hours with any groomers in the past. I find myself wondering why if I have the appointment why do walk ins have priority?? Will definitely not have her back to this salon again.

So far, I have been extremely happy with Petco Grooming. My suggestion would be to keep notes on how you groom the dogs so we don't have to go through a complete conversation about it. So making notes on what was done at each visit would really help make the next grooming date a little easier. Otherwise, I am very happy with the work there. I appreciate how they listen to what I'm asking for and so far, have provided as close to exactly as I asked. I appreciate that Petco grooming seems organized and under control whereas some places seem chaotic and disorganized. Thank you

The customer service is very good! They go above and beyond to make my dogs and myself comfortable and they always do a great job. SVITLANA and MARI are the best!! Elliott and Elsa love them.

My Alaskan Malamute does not care for toenail trims or baths, but the Petco folks take very good care with him, and keep him busy at the head while doing the toes. I really appreciate how they love on him, he thrives on it!

Ashley is our groomer, and she is the best! Our dog gets so excited for her baths and just adores her! They always do a superb job with her bath and haircut! I definitely recommend!

Kind, compassionate and helpful. The gal that checked us in was willing to get the paperwork done and accepted Ellie. I have been to grooming appointments and told “u are 10 minutes early” and we had to wait until her assigned groomer arrived. Team concepts speaks volumes to me about the staff.Ester was Ellie’s groomer. She did an outstanding job on her hair cut. Ellie gets so anxious and stressed at her appointments Ester said she added lavender to her bath to help calm her. That is going above and beyond and demonstrates her love for animals. The Spokane Petco is excellent for grooming. They took our long haired chuahua right on time, completed her bath, cut, nail trim and buff ahead of the scheduled time and she looked beautiful. Her coat had become extremely long and overdue but no problem here. Great service and a reasonable price.

Just went to go try to wash our dog with the new washing area waiting like 10 mins nobody to help told front counter. waited like 10 minutes more workers stalking shelves just looking at us no help so left

our groomer Esther is fabulous! She does an excellent job and our dogs all love her. I have 3 King Charles Cavaliers and a Bichon Frise puppy. She has taken excellent care of all of them!

My dog Eddie was a shelter dog that was barley able to make it out of his last home because they set him on fire 🔥. Needless to say he has had issues with trust. He didn't have any problems going with the groomer and he has been to plenty others that he has not wanted to go with them. All 3 of my dogs looked great!

I am repeat customer for two main reasons. The customer service is excellent (there are plenty of staff to help find any item they carry and if for any reason they don't know about a particular product they find a coworker to answer the question) They have a great selection of products for cats and dogs of all ages. Having worked and managed retail definitely a well run, and managed store.

Bolt is a regular. We had just got back from vacation and he was covered in tree sap. I was willing to bathe him myself but I had no clue how to get the sap off. They squeezed him in since someone had a cancelation and I was so so thankful! She did an amazing job with him!

In addition to taking excellent care of my furbaby, their COVID protocols were excellent - gloves, mask and social distancing, even during signing paperwork. I was so relieved about it when my roommate brought her back home from taking her for me that I cried - literally. I called and got her name - it was Ashley (Spokane-Division). I USED to have both my dogs groomed there (one has since passed) but the groomer who was doing it left and we found another but they got someone new and I ended up having to have her sedated for nail trims several times after that experience. I played with her nails, got to where she'd let me hold her paws and tap them with the clippers and the vet was FINALLY able to do it without sedation and then COVID hit and the vet's office is closed. I cannot tell you how much stress Ashley has removed from my life and, although I had my roommate tip her well, she deserves recognition from her employer, as well!

Have called the five times left a message and still no response. According to online there op3n but I've tryed the customer service and grooming line all day and noone awnsers. Call petsmart and they gladly awner where polite and took my dog in to get nails trimmed and brushes. Might have cost a little more but well worth it. Petco had gone down hill and lost my business. Don't know what's going on in grooming area but new management is horrible 😫

Staff was very odd, like they felt and acted like they were above customers like they had powers or something. Very odd feeling. My dogs eyes were blood shot red when picking her up from the groom's and they gave the lamest excuse ever. Won't be going there again.
