Very well organized store. The displays are wonderful ! The only thing that seems to be missing are employees . It wasn't that long ago when I would walk in and be greeted by a store associate. There was always someone close by if you had any questions and they would come and ask you if you needed anything . There seemed to be only one employee and she was at the register. I was there for at least 30 minutes and it was starting to get busy.PetSmart has a bunch of employees and they are all very nice , knowledgeable and willing to help . Just a little advice from a Petco fanUPDATE 03/20/2024I am changing my review on the basis that the owner of the store truly does care about their customers.This is exactly the way it's supposed to happen and for that you deserve 5 stars. Thank you

Showed up for my dog’s grooming appointment with a pre arranged time of 10 minutes before opening. This was agreed upon because of another commitment I needed to be at by 9:20. Grooming entrance door is closed with a sign that says go to the front entrance. Went to the front entrance where it was locked. Observed employees mulling about with the “why are you here?” stare. Tried to say I’m here to drop my dog off for his appointment but just received the deer in a headlights stare as they went back to mulling about. I called the store and pressed 1 to be connected to the grooming department but it just rang with no answer. Continued to stand at the entrance watching employees walk by with the “why are you here?” look. Called the store again and let it ring while the people inside shuffled. I wound up leaving with my dog so I wouldn’t miss my other commitment. I did call around 9:10 to let the groomer know what had happened and she was very sweet and apologetic. It’s a bit of a journey to get to this location and after the “stares” it’s making me look for a closer option.

I came in looking for a toothbrush for a cat. I walked around the store where they had all sorts of bizarre things for animals that I didn’t even know existed. (Guess I’m just not that fancy of a pet owner) to each their own. However, it brings me to the point of ok perhaps a toothbrush for a cat they would have! I walked around and around for about 20 minutes unable to find the cat tooth brushes or someone to help me. I found the dog toothbrushes that seemed too big for a cat. I finally found someone over by the fish and I asked him about what I needed. His answer? “Uhhhhh, I don’t really know…” so I asked if there is someone that would know that he could to direct me to. His answer? “Uhhhh yeah I really don’t know that either…..” with a blank look. I’ve had better interactions with video game npc’s than I had with this guy. I just left remembering why it had been so long since I had been in a Petco. Poor training and understaffed. The death of another brick and mortar business. I left unhappy to go home and order online for the fraction of the price. Bummer. 😔

I was very disappointed with the service at this store. I came to buy some Tetra fish and a 10 gallon tank setup with accessories for them, but no one greeted me or offered any assistance, and PROACTIVELY ignored me when I politely requested assistance directly. I felt ignored and unwelcome. I left and went to another store nearby, where I had a wonderful experience.

We were really disappointed. There were items on a clearance rack that apparently weren't on clearance. Almost everything we picked out for our 2 pups wasn't on sale, but they were on the clearance rack. They need more people working there to help with that situation.

Today at check out I had an older lady with glasses accuse me of using fake money and she was very very rude. I couldn’t believe the way she was talking to me and my finance. Definitely getting a membership at petsmart after this encounter.

Nice clean store. Friendly staff. I find it to be slightly pricey compared to competitors, and their selection is limited in some areas, like cat trees.

We didnt have an appointment but they got both of our dogs in for baths and nail trim. They always do a great job and dogs are always happy to be there.

Gave my dog a bath and got a ton of water in his ears, scheduled me a vet appointment with them 3 weeks later, told me they can't do anything so now I'm dealing with EXPENSIVE vet bills. What a joke, just groom your own dogs.

I get all my pet supplies at this location. The parking is excellent compared to the previous location. I get fresh live crickets here real cheap. All my fish and aquarium accessories are purchased here.

Have close relationship with my petco locally and was extremely disappointed to see the condition of animals and enclosures at this store. Coeur d'Alene always has clean and healthy pets and take pride in having nice enclosures so i was extremely surprised and disappointed to see the condition of this store in comparison.Snakes in really bad condition stuck sheds stuck eye caps scale rot on the face of one and disgusting conditions made me feel very bad for the animals and reach out to the corporate and say something on behalf of the animals

Will is absolutely amazing and was very informative and helpful. I went in to buy a new fish and found out the tank I already had was to small for the amount of fish I already had. I ended up leaving with the right size tank and I even adopted a new little beauty and was able to stay within my little budget. Thanks Will!!!

Came in for feeder mice for a snake, the girl said she needed to put away a hose and then would help me. She literally walked right by me, looked at me and walked off never to be seen again. It was incredibly rude and unnecessary and I will not be coming back. There are plenty of other petstores in Spokane who are happy to help me sans the attitude.

Don’t expect the on-line order for pick up to be same day. I placed an order at 10:30 this morning because I knew I would only have a few minutes to dash in and pick it up. Almost 6 hours later, when I could stop in, it still wasn’t ready. It would have been quicker if I had just hurried up and down the aisles to find the few items I needed. I also was chastised by the staff at the register because I hadn’t waited for the e-mail. That wasn’t on purpose, I just hadn’t had a moment to check for it and thought 6 hours was enough time to pull some cat food off the shelf.
