ModernAve does a great job. I was on the wait list and was able to get an appointment; I absolutely trust their staff and they have done an excellent job with my 3 year old Labradoodle. Trying a new groomer can be daunting. ModernAve was a referral to me and I’m glad I waited out the wait list! Also Brought my puppy in for a groom and they did a great job on him too. Despite his puppy attitude & wiggles!

Frankie is THE BEST! We’ve been taking both our dogs here for years and will never go anywhere else. We have a German shepherd and a Newfoundland that weigh 130 pounds EACH and are extremely high maintenance, but Frankie handles them with ease and they are always so excited to see her and come home looking and smelling fantastic every single time!

Royce had his first ever professional groom at ModernAve today. He was skeptical at first but the staff won him over and were so professional and upbeat that I felt confident leaving him in their care. He’s got a fresh attitude as well as a newfound comfort level with grooming and he looks great— ModernAve staff’s level of care was evident and I’m so thankful I found them!

We found Modern Ave and we’re extremely happy but moved elsewhere in the city. After a couple unsatisfactory grooming sessions for our Pomeranian and Yorkie at a couple of other places we decided to just make the drive.We’ll only be using Modern Ave despite whatever drive we need to make. The stylists at Modern Ave are fantastic. We are greeting with smiles and cheerfulness each time. Even after nearly a year they remembered our Pom (yorkie didn’t get a haircut this visit) and remarked on how much she’d grown.They did a fantastic shaping up of her coat. She looks amazing and came home all smiles and seemingly proud of her new ‘do.As far our experience goes, Modern Ave is the best in the city.

I would also give negative scoring or 0 stars if there was an option. Worst service. Always rude with the customers. I would never go to such groomers who don’t even do their job well. I only opted them coz they were close to our place but dealing with that weird bossy attitude is a big no!! And and and NOTE they NEVER answer calls, never respond back to voicemails. Good luck dealing with the rudo.

The staff at ModernAve Pet Parlor is friendly, efficient and they were so great with my 13 year old dog. The shop is calm, which is fantastic because the previous place I like to use was loud and overwhelming to me, so I can only imagine how the dogs felt. I'm so happy to have found this place.

I had a great first experience with modern ave, but the second experience was very frustrating. I had an appointment for a groom Tuesday morning at 9 am. The time came around, and I had decided my dog didn't need to be groomed yet, his hair was still very short. Their reminder text went out on Sunday, when they were closed with the only option being to confirm the appointment. The second one went out on Monday, when again they are closed. Tuesday morning I get 2 phone calls from modern ave, saying if I plan to book again I will need to pay for the missed appointment in full before making a new one. So I call them back and tell Frankie that I had wanted to reschedule but their reminder texts went out on the 2 days that they were closed with the only option being to confirm. She then asks me in a fairly condescending tone if I left a message or texted them back. I tell her again, that they were closed, and the automated text system had only the option to confirm. I get that she or someone lost out on billable hours and that's an honest mistake on my part. But her tone of voice was so beyond rude for what I would say is a simple mistake. If they want you to know you can cancel or reschedule, they should give the option via text or say "please call and leave us a voicemail if you want to reschedule". Because of course no one is going to pay 65$ for a groom appointment that they didnt show up for. What a ridiculous policy. If Frankie had been kind I would have tried to rebook. But I have never had a groomer be so absolutely rude to me before. Very unprofessional, and a policy that should probably be changed. At least say in the text message that it's an option. I wouldn't have just left them hanging if I'd known I could call on a day they were closed and that they would get the message.

I love the girls who work there. They groom all the dogs in the open. They listen to me about my dog’s special needs and always let me know how she does.

We moved to Spokane this last fall and had yet to find a good groomer for our two small dogs, until now. SO happy we found Dapper Dog - they were able to set us up with an appointment quickly and they did an amazing job! They were very professional and the price point for the services they provided cannot be beat! Highly recommend!!!

I was nervous taking my puppy in for the first time to be groomed, but my client highly recommended Dapper Dog so that is where I went. When picking up my sweet Remy I could tell she just loved it, pretty sure she didn’t even want to leave! The ladies were so sweet too. Oh, and Remy looks amazing!! Remy will be a furrrever client! Thank you Dapper Dog for taking such great care of her and keeping this dog mom’s nerves at ease.

Favorite thing other then how well the groom is, they always stick to their time frame they give, every other place in spokane I feel my dog is at 1/2 the day or shuffled in with many other dogs! Terrible first impression. Their website stated that they take walk-ins for nail trims but I called just to make sure, but no one answered. I took a chance and took my dog over since it was just across the street. Frankie was very curt and rude when she stated they don't take walk-ins anymore. To be fair, they took him in anyway but not without a whole side dish of attitude. Even though they are so close, I don't see us going back.

I could not recommend Frankie and Brytany enough! I had the privilege of taking their marketing photos, and I've watched them groom for years at my previous job and I can tell you that they're some of the best in Spokane! Their skill level and talent is unmatched and they care so much for each and every dog they groom. They have 15 years combined experience and it shows! If you have a dog, you need their services in your life!

This was such a WOW experience! Our Yorkie had anxiety regarding groomers. He always came back nervous, scared, and hated going back. This most certainly was not the case here. While he was excited to be picked up, he didn't seem nervous. Hats off to Frankie...we are incredibly happy with the service and care she put into Titus. We will definitely be using her again!

We live out in the valley and we will be back! Amazing service all around. They squeezed us in last minute after our groomer canceled on us the day before, and they took their time with him. They let him nap a little and took his hip issues into consideration. This is the best he has ever looked! Thank you for taking such good care of my baby🤗
