Heather at brush up training is wonderful, her knowledge and love of animals really shine through! I have specific problems with my dog and she blocked out a 2 hour time frame to focus on him and helped me sort through my training and safety options with him. I want to train him to wear a muzzle, she recommended the Baskerville. I didn't know for sure what size so I bought 2 (elsewhere, she doesn't sell them) and she helped me find the right fit and taught me how to make it a positive experience! The collar training system I purchased (also elsewhere) was a bad choice, however, and I will be returning that!! I had socialized and clicker trained a couple of different dogs with Heather before she got her own place, and absolutely recommend her to anyone wanting to cut to the chase. Pretty or not, she will tell it to you straight!!

Brush up Training is fantastic and Heather is who I tell people to contact when they ask me about where my dog and I completed training with. My Great Pyrenees and I both enjoyed our classes together and I ended up with the best dog in the world. I completely recommend Brush up Training not just for dog training but for any animal behavior questions.

I met Heather when my puppy was only a few months old. I loved her training style so much and she really helped me know what to use and how to motivate and train my dog. (Not harsh...but with treats, love and lots of encouragement.) My dog is now going on 5 years old and I have maintained my friendship with Heather.My dog and I joined a group called Zen Dogs that Heather started with several other people we met through pet training and for 4 years we have been taking our dogs into Assisted Living and Nursing Homes. Our dogs love people and like to do tricks for treats...the residents love our visits and our pets love the days they get to go 'to work'!I highly recommend taking your dog to Heather at Brush Up Training regardless of your pets age.One of the main things I learned from Heather was to have a 'key word' that no matter what your dog is doing....they want what you have! My dogs word is 'cheese'. She is small and she likes to climb under our fence and cross the street, or go and visit the neighbors horses...all I have to do is ask her if she wants a piece of cheese and with a smile on her face she comes running to the door!

A waste of time. Most of your time is spent listening to stories. Try finding a certified dog trainer with a dedicated training facility, not a place like this in a basement.
