Well I can't write a review based on their service because they never seem to be open. I've been trying for 3 weeks to get my dogs nails trimmed. First they didn't return my phone call, I waited a week and then came at 4:45 last Friday, they were closed. I tried to call today before driving here and again no one answered the phone. I assume they were busy, so I drove here at 4:00, once again they are closed. Won't be wasting my time further.

I used to take one of my cats here a long time ago but stopped going because of how unpredictable the cat I had at the time was with people (I didn't want her to hurt herself or them).I have two new cats now, and recently, I have been reading their reviews and seen so many people satisfied with their cat grooming that I decided to check them out again for nail trims for the kitties I have now. I did a walk-in, didn't even need an appointment for a nail trim.The lady who did the trims (can't remember her name) was so gentle and patient with my cats. They were super skittish and wiggly, and she was able to find ways of maneuvering them into a good position where they couldn't get away from her but where they also wouldn't be injured as she was doing the nail trims. I think this is the gentlest I've ever seen anyone be with them during a nail trim. I felt absolutely confident in her abilities and genuinely appreciated her handling of my fur babies. You have definitely made one happy customer! I will absolutely be back every month for all their future nail trims, as well as with any future pets I have!

After searching high and low, we finally found the perfect place a to get our kitty groomed! She had a wonderful spa day with Bark R Boutique. We will not be going anywhere else due to the incredible job they did with our Princess Rosie. The staff was friendly and on-time. We couldn’t be happier!

I've never been treated so badly at a groomers b4. The woman at the desk is very unkind and uncaring, I hate the idea that she is even AROUND dogs, who are just so wonderful, when she's full of such contempt and anger at the world. My Dad passed away 10 days ago, and my Mom dropped off my dog to be groomed today because she needed it so badly, and when I went to pick her up the lady was scowling at me with this evil look and said it's 95 dollars! I asked her..wait why is it so much? It was $65 last I came here with her a few months ago..(actually it mightve been $55 now that i think about it more) and she said well the prices went up by 10 but she's charging an extra 20 dollars because my mom dropped her off at 115 instead of 1pm. i couldn't believe it. Nobody told us this and it was a miracle we even were able to do this for my dog right now at all, i wouldve thought it was a bad joke if she didnt have such a mean look on her face. scary woman. I told her I'm sorry but my dad just passed away and this is basically the first time I've even been out of the house, just to do this for my dog, i haven't worked, haven't seen or talked to friends or family, I didn't even go to Thanksgiving dinner with my family. I haven't even been able to get dressed or shower . and the first time I force myself to do ANYTHING I encounter someone so heartless just wanting more money without anything like "I'm sorry for your loss" or "well u didn't know this but in the future we will have to charge a late fee if shes dropped off at all late". We didnt get that. we got no compassion, no human kindness or decency at all. I was actually crying i was so shocked ..to be basically treated like garbage when I was barely able to even go do this today. she actually laughed at me. and as I'm leaving with my dog she calls behind me "well goodbye!" mockingly. I told her yes goodbye for the last time because I will NEVER bring any dog here again. this woman should not even work with people and definitely shouldn't work with dogs who should ONLY be around kind people. I'm finding a new and better place and I suggest anyone else does so too. it is not worth the risk having your precious baby around such a cruel person. and i can only hope the groomers are not cruel like that woman is. .I will not be back and I definitely do not recommend them.ps, in my dog's 15 and a half yrs, I have NEVER been charged more than 65 for a grooming either.Update, I have read the twisted response by the owner and Im so disappointed that she shows she doesnt really care about a customers experience and instead just wants to justify what I assure you was TERRIBLE treatment, that had me driving home crying over it. No wonder this business gets like one review a year, that shouldve been enough to stay away, and SERIOUSLY, to try and insult my elderly dog who mattes very easily and quickly and has always had to be shaved when she is groomed for her entire life? That is just LOW, and I'm sad to see that customer satisfaction and just human kindness are so low on the list of important things for this business. I had nothing bad to say about my experience scheduling the appointments, and when i rescheduled because of my family tragedy I did it way in advance also. And I'm NOT a liar, ty very much. I didn't even mention in the review how depressed my dog is tonight after going to them, or how badly the groom looks. Which are true. But I did tell 100% the truth of what happened and a business trying to gaslight customers? That's beyond red flag worthy. My dog had a complete physical and checkup and her bordatella shot on saturday and she was listed in "ideal" condition by the vet, and she even went on and on about how i obviously take very good care of her and they are impressed by her great health at this age of 15. So that weird little insult barrage on my dog ..sorry, doesnt check out for being a kind dog loving person and certainly doesnt check out for being the TRUTH. BUT, It's good to know how much (or how little) a business cares about how customers are treated. Well done.

Friendly staff. Appointments and walk in. The only place I trust to leave my Pomeranian Marley. I've been taking her to Bark R Boutique since she was about a year old. She'll be 10 in December. I trust the staff with my fur baby and wouldn't go anywhere else. The shop is always very busy and can get quite loud which is something I need to avoid with my dog due to her anxiety and epilepsy disorders.The staff are very accommodating by allowing me to schedule her full groom very early or late in the day to help avoid any problems.Thank you Bark R Boutique🐾Update 2022Still the only place I take my Pomeranian for grooming. It's always so clean and smells nice. The staff are great with the pets and they do a great job. I love the owner she's so sweet and patient and she is a superb groomer. I highly recommend Barker Boutique. 🐾

They work miracles here! They made my papillon look like a champion show dog! I am really impressed, as always. The staff is always ultra-friendly and they go out of their way to accommodate us ea ch time! I would highly recommend Bark R Boutique!

We took our 6.5 month old chow to Bark R Boutique for her first ever professional groom, with a de-shedding treatment, and we are so happy we did! She loved it there and came out looking, smelling, and feeling amazing! I am in awe at how well the de-shedding worked, and we are still trying to figure out which method of witchcraft was used to make her fur SO SOFT. Whatever it was, we're impressed! We will definitely be back. 😊

Five Stars Most Definitely!! I had called with grooming issues and they understood the importance of being done and then they had called me back up after I had made my first initial grooming appointment 1month out and got me in the next morning to trim 2 of my Yorkie Dogs.

Took my little girl Bella in for a fur cut. I absolutely loved the way she came out. I will for sure bring her back. It was a little more than I usually pay but definitely worth it. They called me back right way and got me in right away. All they people are very nice and professional.

Our family recently had our dog groomed at Bark R Boutique. Our dog is 9 years old and the groomer did an EXCELLENT job !! Our dog had gotten mats over the winter and they were all removed and I would say that this is the best cut and groom he has ever had. Strongly Recommend !!

I’m so happy with the service here. They got back to me right away after I requested an appointment, and Marisa made my cat, Jolene look amazing! I also appreciated how Marisa took the time to get to know is a little prior to grooming and gave me some helpful tips for Jolene to adjust to apartment living. Her passion for her work is obvious, and her talent is also obvious. Take your cat here. You will not regret it!

Easy to get an appointment fairly quickly. They return calls promptly. A little challenging to get a consistent dog grooming because you might get a different groomer each time. Could be stressful for a very sensitive animal, a lot going on. They did a great job on our rescue cat's bath and take care of cat nail trims for a reasonable price.

I had a great experience, they gave my long hair cat a nice haircut. Props to them for giving haircuts to cats. The only bad thing was the scheduling, they are busy I needed to book one month out. I hope the next cut goes just as well in late April.

Walked in for the first time today. Decided to use the self service. Very happy with the setup and friendly professional staff. There was no wait for the self service. They had every grooming station full and the dogs seem happy. No barking at all. Even my dog who likes to let the world know that she is there didn't bark once. They have several options for shampoo and Most important to me they do NOT us drying kennals. The have a Blow dryer that uses cool air. My dog was much happier with that. I will go back again. Next time i will have grooming done. Thank you Bark Boutique!

I brought my puppy in to get her nails trimmed and they did a great job. I previously tried on my own with my wife and we couldn’t even get 1 nail done, we tried everything from holding her down to giving her treats. I am so glad she can’t scratch us anymore. Well worth the 10$. I would suggest anyone that has difficulty trimming nails to just bring them here and have them do it. I went in at 3pm and was out 5 minutes later.

Great service, great price, and great people. We get our cat groomed every so often and they have always done a good job. We moved to the north side and it's a bit of a drive now, but totally worth it. Would easily recommend them to anyone who needs a quality cat grooming.

My cat had the greatest experience here I would definitely recommend this place to anyone especially if their cat is real timid or scared. They totally specialize in not freaking your animal out and making it a good experience. My cat came back friendly, and calm and very clean and soft! For the price $57 grooming, nails, ears, etc so worth it! We will definitely be back!!

Took few weeks to get appt but glad got one. My cat is very hard to groom. He had knots and pretty shaggy and he has issues with his hips and hated being brushed and they got him all clean and he looked great when I picked him up and prices were good.

I have been going to the place for almost a year, since I got my goldador. He is large part golden retriever and has the fur of one. Long and beautiful. I brought him in for a bath and FFF. They completely shaved his belly and the back of his legs. I didn't ask for any of that. Then left the sides of him long so he has some weird mullet. It is not cut well and looks horrible. I called and told them and they made it seem like I didn't explain what I wanted. Why shave his entire chest as well? I get trimming down his sanitary, they have done that in the past, but they shaved him all the way up his chest. the back of his legs were cut off which i didn't want done and they have never done in the past when getting this exact groom. Not only were they cut off they look jagged and uneven. my poor baby doesn't even look like a golden anymore...

I take both of my heelers here to have their nails trimmed - they can both be difficult to hold down/stay still and cry loudly but staff always does an amazing job. I was very nervous to bring them in my first time but they took care of them both and are always kind to me. I highly recommend to other owners looking for a new place!

It's such a relief since I have taken him elsewhere and unless these guys are liars they must be dog whisperers because he wasn't good at other places. These guys are fantastic! I always go back. They did such a beautiful job with our two little dogs. We were worried that our little guy would be nervous but he was calm as can be and sitting on the gal’s lap, happy and relaxed when we picked them up. The grooming was awesome for both of them. We will be back!

Nail TrimAs my cat has gotten past the kitten stage, she has been increasingly stubborn about me trimming her claws. So instead of putting us both through me trying to trim them, I decided to try out Bark R Boutique. The receptionist was very friendly and the Nail Trim was a good price of only $7, with no appointment needed. I took my cat in and when I got home checked her nails and was shocked to see that most of her claws were clipped past her cuticle, at least 2 of them were bleeding and one claw they clipped completely off! I was horrified at what had just been done to my cat. I took her there to try and avoid trauma and the result was the exact opposite. I cannot comment on their dog services or other grooming, but I will never take my cat to have her nails trimmed there again.

My Shih Tzu is a biter when being groomed. I notified them when I made the appointment for him. They said the first time in would let them know how to work with him. His groomer did great with him! She advised me on what to do for his next grooming and I will follow her advice. I will be bringing him back, happily.

Bark Boutique is one of the friendliest places I've taken my cats too. The people there are wonderful to talk to and they groom my cats the way I've explained to them. I've been taking my cats their since the owner opened her doors. Love the business and highly recommend this place to everyone.

We own a very shy English springer Spaniel who does not enjoy being groomed or washed by anyone other that my fiancé and I. Once we filled out our paperwork, the groomer came out and talked to us about how we wanted our pup to be groomed. She was friendly and understood that English springers have a specific coat and that we did NOT want her to be shaved completely down like many other groomers choose to do. Our girl turned out beautiful! I have seen many reviews saying that this business never answers their phone or it takes a few days to book an appointment and I can understand that because this place is very busy and popular! This place is simply GREAT. Margaret was very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful when I took our cat (a fluffball of a Persian) in for a cut and clean. Not only was the cut excellent and the price reasonable, but THE DAY AFTER we took him there, we received a letter of thanks in the mail for choosing them! Talk about customer service.We had had a bad experience at another groomer and decided to try Bark R Boutique (Cat's Meow, whichever) for the first time, and as long as we live in Spokane we'll be bringing Charlie here for haircuts. Our cat can be kind of an a-hole when it comes to touching anywhere but the top of his head, so Margaret is a true professional for taming the beast. I would highly, highly recommend this clean, friendly business to anyone!
