Our family has been enjoying this Campground for many years. The camp host keeps the toilets very clean and is helpful. River access can be tricky but worth the trouble. The river beautiful with wildlife and adventure. There are not too many bugs which is nice but, bring insect repellent anyway because they are here.

I went here recently for a quick getaway from the city with my family. It's a very close drive, easy to locate. The campsites are spacious and private. The local river is very beautiful. We went in late August and the water was crystal clear.

The camp host here was incredible. We showed up hoping for a first come first serve site and the list was updated on the board. The campsite was freshly raked and the compost toilets were the cleanest I have ever seen. The water is out of service which stinks but there is a gas station not far and another campground, Monkey Creek, with water available nearby. It is tucked far enough from the highway that you don’t hear vehicle traffic and the train we only noticed 3 times the whole night.

It was a nice little campground. The toilet was non flush but surprisingly clean. The camp spots vary in size. There was a party of guys that occasionally got a bit loud and rambunctious. Overall, it was a nice place to go for a couple of days.

If you are lucky enough to find a good spot on the Beckler River you'll never want to leave. Most of the forest service roads are almost never ending and the views will take your breath away. Bring the bug spray ! Late June - October are the most visited times.

Beautiful, quiet, picturesque campground set on a gentle river. Large, fairly private sites, easy access off of Highway 2.Would have given five stars, but we could not find any campground staff or host to sell us firewood.

We love this campground. Not to big. Private enough. Beautiful river nearby. Some sites on the river. No hookups. Most sites flat. A few pull though sites for larger trailer or motorhomes. Most seem smaller though. Very peaceful.

This is a beautiful campground! Tucked away in the forest. There are vault toilets, NO running water. Beautiful base camp to explore the area.

Beautiful campsite, will be coming back very often, clean, organized and safe. Easy access to river, swimming areas, toilets, lots of hikes and small walks.

Scenic, quiet, and easily accessible from US2. Nice tent platforms and clean bathrooms. Has decent cell phone coverage, too. Docked a star for not having running water. Was able to filter water from the river.

Wonderful place to rest from the hwy. River access to most sites, vaulted toilets. We give it a 5 for access and service. There is local bear that frequent the campground. Keep eyes open and make noise.

Well layed out sites. The River. And 1/8th scale train rides nearby in Skykomish. Great chicken at Pigs Whistle bar. No drinking water this month July but it will be back. Nearby trails abound. Mosquitoes

campsite #15 is spacious and it has space for two tents and a hammock. Came here late August for 3 days and enjoyed my reservation. Didn't have any issues with mosquitos or flies (got three bites, but not bad). Tmobile signal has three bars which is nice. And it's only 1.5 hours away from Renton/Seattle area.. The vault toilet is decent and clean. Blue jays and small birds would frequently visit me throughout the day. 5 out of 5 would come back. Host was an older lady who seems nice. She came around the second day of my stay to confirm my reservations. Vegetation around the campsite has ferns, tall pine trees, and some other medium size shrubs. The vegetation gives a nice forest feel. Book early if you want river view.pros: they sell wood on site, clean vault toilets, privacy between sites are decent, the sound of the river is peaceful.con: there a lot of families and sometimes kids can be loud, but it wasn't a big issue for me.

People took things from my campsite during the day, used my site as river access with all their chairs and gear multiple times and had friends stop their car to get out the 4 adults to look at the river from my camp site. Nice place but attracts bad campers.

Nice grounds, super clean pit toilets, less stars because the mosquitoes will absolutely eat you alive here. Worst I have seen anywhere so far. Otherwise beautiful spot.

Stayed at site #27. Campsite located right across from pit toilets. Not very private but very few people at campground. Views across river were of burn scar from 2022 fire.

Stayed here 5 days on a river site. So relaxing and peaceful. The sound of the water was amazing to fall asleep to. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. Most dogs on a leash all but one. The best camphost ever here. Janet was very helpful in answering all our questions and making sure we were set. She is the hardest working camphost I have met so far. She cleaned the pit toilets several times a day and when not doing that was busy keeping it nice for all. I would have given this campground a five but their is no dump site or even a nearby dump site. We would definitely camp here again. Just make sure to bring empty holding tanks.

This is a great little campground. The host was very helpful. Our site was by the river and had a very calming atmosphere. It seems the even numbered spots are on the river side, but not sure if that's true for all of them. Water is available, but pretty slow and run by what looks like a solar charger battery.

Great little camp ground. Several camp sites have direct river access and there is a picnic area with river access for day use if you're not staying the night. There are no showers but there are several out house style restrooms throughout the campground. Fishing is allowed with a license. There is a small store (basic items only) and gas station a half mile up the highway. Fire wood is available for purchase from the camp host for $8/bundle. Additional vehicles at your site are also $8/day. Cash or check only. RVs are allowed but there are no hookups. Each site includes a fire pit and a large picnic table. There is a small water pump at the center of the grounds where you can get water for washing dishes, feeding dogs, etc. but it runs very slowly so you'll need some patience.

Quiet, well run, clean, and right next to the river making it easy to bring stuff to hangout next to it. Great for families or those wanting a relaxing summer weekend on some water.

Easy in easy out about a mile or so off Hwy 2. Few sites but nice...beautiful in fact. If privacy is your thing (it is mine) this might be what you're looking for. Ordinary cpground, pit toilets, sites on the river/ creek, cost 6/21 was $23 a night. nice quiet off-,the-road campground.
