Great LFS. GREAT PRICES. Wish they were closer, but if you are in the Bremerton area well you are in luck. Hidden gem status. Nice selection of equipment too, and smoking deals on used.Owner is knowledgeable, but more importantly personable and enthusiastic. You can tell this is still a hobby for him. Some people lose that along the way.

Excellent Reef store with most anything you can need. Prices are more than reasonable and in some cases cheaper than big box stores and online. All of his livestock is well cared for, this is a shop owner who truly enjoys the hobby and cares about more than just full stocked tanks, having a great stock of well kept fish and corals.

Spencer is always so helpful in every way. Since the beginning from my very first tank setup water testing, questions. to adding my latest fish, pods, food, supplies. These guys are my favorite place and my fish are all happy and healthy thanks to their help. They message me advice as needed and really help and care about their clients.

Great customer service here!! I’m brand new to the hobby. And instead of just telling me how hard it is blah blah. They went over the ropes told me what I need! Gave me prices( great prices) ended up leaving with a tank set up, and a list of the things I’ll need next. And I’m excited to keep working with them as they offered their knowledge and help along the way! Will be doing ALL my business through the shark reef!!

Great local store with great people. Very knowledgeable, and with their help I've had a reef tank up and running for 6 years now. Cant say enough how much I really appreciate Eric and Tim for answering all my many questions. The prices are great and the support for the hobby is unbeatable. If your looking to get into this hobby as I once was, these guys can set you up with a complete system, and will help you to have that awesome reef tank you want.

The staff at this place is great. They are extremely knowledgeable and never seem to be annoyed at the ton of questions I have each time I go there. The prices are fair and I never feel like I paid to much, usually quite the opposite. The selection of Coral is great and the fish stock rotates. Always seems to be something new every time I go. Definitely recommend for anyone that's looking for saltwater marine life.

Friendly staff great prices and lots of help if needed. Been back several times now and their stock is different every time. Eric the owner is willing to help track down the fish you want to make your home tank truly one of a kind. He will advise you if the fish you want is going to need a bigger tank and is friendly as he does.

I recently setup a "predatory reef tank" after a few years being away from the hobby. Needless to say, the hobby has changed just a bit since I was last active in it. Eric has been awesome by "holding my hand while I get my feet wet again." He has provided me with excellent equipment advice and some absolutely incredible livestock. His fish always seem to be healthy and he strives to keep a nice selection on-hand at all times. I have yet to walk out empty handed. The few things that I have wanted equipment-wise that he didn't have in stock, he was super accommodating by ordering in for me. His prices are extremely competitive as well. Dont throw away your money buying online. Support local and support a quality shop by going to see Eric.

First time visit today and I was shocked. Shocked at how great a store this is. I have kept corals and marine fish for years. I have found it difficult to find a store that actually sells colonies rather than just frags at such reasonable prices. Thanks to Eric and his knowledge you can be sure this has just become my local fish center. I may live an hour away but by God its worth the journey. Will be making weekly trips to get more colonies so I can get them established whilst setting up my newer tank. Once again 5 stars and best store EVER

We absolutely love the Shark Reef. Eric always has a great selection of fish and colors and when he doesn’t have something, he will order it for you!On top of a great selection and great prices- what is priceless about the Shark Reef is Eric’s willingness to offer his knowledge. So many times we have gone in there and just asked questions and Eric was more that helpful. Eric’s son also works in the shop sometimes and knows a ton about the hobby and when he doesn’t know something he goes out of his way to find the answer.If you are looking for a place with great customer service and knowledgeable people, the Shark Reef is it!

I mostly go here just to look at all the cool stock since I don't currently have a saltwater tank. I have bought some supplies in the past though and have been happy with everything. Even when I'm not spending money they still take the time to talk with me about tanks and equipment. Sooner or later they will get there hooks in me and I can't think of a better place to spend my money when I'm ready for a saltwater setup.

Great local shop that has everything you will need to start up your first saltwater aquarium. The owner (Eric) is very knowledgeable and puts the needs of his customers over sales. Never have I felt like he was just trying to sell me stuff which is something I appreciate greatly.

You can't beat the service, they'll talk salt water fish all day. They also offer water testing for a small fee, and they have saltwater by the gallon for a price, and freshwater for free. They are always getting different varieties and can order anything you need. Plus they usually have an awesome display case to aspire to.

You guys are awesome! I buy 90% of my goods from you. I have thought about shopping online but I like to support our local businesses. There is not enough non corporate stores. And your kid is kick a**. He is a great kid. I really liked challenging him on his knowledge and if he didnt know the answer he was quick to call you and learn the answer. Smart young man. I have listened to every piece of advice you have given to me and I have only had 1 fish loss in the 6 months of my tank being alive and I think it was because my anenome was hungry for a large meal (pig) hahaha. I was more than a little bummed when I moved into the Bremerton area because it seemed as if the closest reef store was an hour and a half away. That's when I found The Shark Reef and decided to stop by. I picked up a clown fish as a companion for my existing one as well as a small (silver dollar sized) Rainbow Bubble Tip anenome that was very fairly priced in comparison to some reef shops I have visited. Lastly I purchased a medium sized frag of Sun Coral. After acclimating and introducing into the tank the clowns immediately took a liking to each other (perhaps a relationship will blossom) and the Bubble Tip took hold only an inch from where it was placed. The sun coral has yet to open but has a nice healthy color to it. The staff was polite, & helpful as well and easily answered any questions I had. I will be coming to The Shark Reef for most of my future purchases.
