Terrible business, rude and arrogant staff. Gun counter is a mess; tried three times to come look for a pistol. Each time the counter made me wait more than an hour, before I gave up and left. Spoke to their manager the third time and he told to make an appointment. After that I never used them again and have been directing others to avoid the store. DON’T SHOP HERE!!!

This sportsmans is awful, to start ever since Covid they have dropped in care for this store. They have price tags missing on so many things in the store, their ammo section is almost always empty, and the gun counter takes hours to do anything. I never have this issue at any other sportsmans and I frequently shop at the one in Sequim. This store is just poorly mismanaged.Update: I don’t know why i keep going back to this location and trying to give it a chance. There inventory is continuing to shrink, ammo is more expensive here than other locations, price tags are missing all the time still. For carry ammo they usually have two different kinds of ammo and maybe 5 boxes of each. This location is poorly maintained and managed.

I went in this morning to buy a rifle. It took 30 minutes for someone to acknowledge me even though I was one number from being helped. Then an off-duty employee cut me in line and was helped first while they all joked around. The rifle I wanted was on sale but after waiting 45 minutes, I had to leave to make an appointment on time.I asked the woman behind the counter how long the rifle was on sale. She said she didn’t know but assured me it would be on sale for the rest of the day. I returned to the store three hours later to make the purchase and the rifle was no longer on sale and the same woman behind the counter claimed that she couldn’t remember if it was on sale or not and would not honor the sale price. I used to spend a lot of money at this store every month. Now I will never come here again.

I have shopped here infrequently, but every time they ask if you are active duty military for a discount. I asked about discount for active/current local law enforcement, they said they don’t offer a discount for that. I will shop elsewhere then, thanks.

Still a big box store where outdoor gear is concerned. A store for living outdoors as opposed to fancy clothing and gear to just climb a mountain in stylish clothes.... The reloading supplies are still at high demand so not a lot in the store... The gun counter only keeps 1 person behind the counter so many have to wait in line to even look at a gun.

Me and one other person were at the gun counter while two employees stood and joked with the other customer while I stood for 25 minutes at the scope counter while no one helped me, it’s not like I wasn’t obvious as the area was completely empty besides the other customer and I. The shelves are alway bare and a mess while the pricing is sometimes missing and products are in the wrong place so you can’t find the accurate pricing. I just got fed up and walked out, only redeeming quality is the friendly employees up at the front.

This is a grown man's candy shop, I JUST LOVE IT. So much here and so much information. You would think each employee had a four year degree in outdoors. The fishing department is stocked with everything you could possibly want to include fresh worms. Second amendment right are here for you. You don't need to ever go away from your home and you can get thousands of things for the backyard. If you want to just look like a woodsman the clothes are here for you. If you need a cast iron pan don't go anywhere else, coolers are only the best and at the best price. Again love this place.

Perfect place to get Any Outdoors Loved one a Gift. A Fantastic place to get a Large variety of Quality gear. When you catch your items on sale, Bonus 👌. I picked up a $100.00 Gift card for my son-in-law. He had a Sportsman's Warehouse just down from his house in Idaho. Employees are always asking if you need assistance 👍 The parking is plentiful.

I just went into the Silverdale store yesterday....I used to be a regular customer. Now I just see a crash and burn happening right in front of my eyes. The new Hunting Manager Brendan spends his time in the manager office hanging with the office manager. The store Manager is down on the floor moving around fixtures.There wasn't any store associates in clothing, footwear, camping or fishing. There was clothing dumped everywhere, dressing rooms used to be kept locked, now just left open. Product and hooks left all over in fishing, camping has the wrong signage on the wrong product...the entire store is trashed maybe a surprise visit from some corporate managers is in order. The entire Management team needs to go. What ever happened to the old managers from a few years ago. They new what customer service was! You are really scrapping the bottom of the barrel here!

Seemed like at least a third of the shelves were empty. Pallets of stuff in the isle ways . Looked a knives, and the selection was really bad. I went to the gun area, and that stock was an embarrassment . People are waiting in line to talk to the one salesperson behind the counter. He suggested they need to make an appointment. Really? There was no one to talk to at the knife area, but what little they had I guess you go to a register and ask them to get something for you. Talked with a couple of customers about the situation, and we all came to the same conclusion " going out of business " a real shame to see what is going on there .

Definitely a good location outfit all your material. I've been able to find fishing equipment here that I have not been able to find elsewhere at other large chain locations. I was very impressed with what the rod and reel selection that they had to offer. When that seems like most places have nearly completely ran out of stock, Sportsman's Warehouse has been able to keep the flow trickling in. I was able to find my son a really good pair of chest waders to go fishing with. Most locations around don't have such amenities for children. So kudos to them for actually having niche items such as waders for children. My son is just like myself, an avid fisherman so having his own pair of chest waders made him very happy.

Bought a gun that was in stock, when I haven’t received a confirmation email, they said it was sold out. Finally I recieve an email to pick it up, drive an hour and a half, the store is closed an hour early! Waste of an evening. I wish I never purchased from here.

Good sporting goods store if you don't need any help finding what you want ... most of the staff is inexperienced. I was asking where the 222 ammo was located for my 20/22. The guy I asked got to a point where he was yelling at me, trying to tell me that firearm doesn't exist ... and they don't have an archery counter any longer. I needed to get a new bow restrung, and the draw adjusted ... they don't do that any longer. Now I have to take the drive to bass pro or cabellas. I like the excuse to go to those stores but an in and out turns into the better part of a day evert.

Got hung up on 4x in an hour, where they'd either try to put me on hold or seemingly someone picked up the line and hung it up so they could call out.Went in store, the item claimed to be in stock online was not in fact in stock.First worker gave a story as to why the websites expectations were not reality, second worker was helpful but nothing they could do still.

Absolutely the worst shopping experience of my lifetime! This is a good place to NOT patronize. It is no wonder that there were very few customers & the place has gone bankrupt once already. With customer NON-SERVICE like they display, they won't be in business much longer. I called in advance as I live an hour away. They had the revolver I wanted to purchase & put it under the counter for me. When I arrived they had 2 incompetent employees behind the counter & a dept. manager that came & went from the backroom, obviously equally incompetent. I stood there for over an hour & have never been so insulted in my life. This place is inexcusable. When my turn came it took another hour. Unbelievable! I will never do business with these incompetent people again, not for any reason, & I will recommend to everyone that they NOT do business there either. There are a lot of other places to do business that will treat you well, Cabela's for one. Locally there is Sound Firearms in Silverdale, a young man with an FFL & does transfers for $25 plus will order for you. He is a prince of a young man. Or try Stoken Arms near Port Townsend, a well stocked shop, great prices & a great young man to deal with also. Doing business with Sportsman's Warehouse is an insult to anyone with any level of intelligence!! These people are not capable of flipping burgers at McDonald's!!

So I have driven to this store and others in the area to purchase Large rifle primers multiple times to find Thayer do not have them, each time they show in stock, yes I have tried calling to confirm before driving up, but either can’t get through to the gun counter or get the we haven’t checked what just came in in the pallet yet story.

Nice well-equipped and large store. They do seem a bit short-staffed and they have zero help in the archery department, as apparently their last archery guy was fired or quit and they told us they have no plans to refill the position. Nice selection of pretty much everything else.

Update: A few days after I posted this review the owners responded stating that they would have the store management address this issue. As it is not their policy for product. In response to the owners reaching out, I've changed my rating to 3 stars. I will give Sportsman's Warehouse another chance and will reevaluate my review based on my next experience. I appreciate the owners showing that they care, as that really means a lot.Was in need of some ammo, so I looked at Sportsman's website to see what they have in stock. After finding what I wanted, I headed down to the store. When I got there, they had zero. Not one single 5.56 on the shelf, among other calibers that were either completely out or close to it. I thought maybe they had it displayed in another aisle, so I asked an associate. They told me that the website shows what has been delivered, not what's on the shelves. Continued by telling me that there were pallets full of ammo in the back, but wasn't allowed to get into the pallets and that the management was aware of this issue but told them not to stock the ammo. So the message I got from this is that Sportsman's Warehouse would rather you spend your hard earned money at locally owned, family run, Ma and Pa shops. I hear you loud and clear Sportsman's, I'll never spend another dollar in your stores.

Sportsman’s warehouse absolutely lost all of my business this morning. I purchased a firearm on April 5, 2023. On April 11, 2023 my local PD processed my proceed for the firearm. The manager Brenden neglected to do his job and update my paperwork until I called and pressed the issue on may 1st 2023. They call me back and tell me everything it processed and I can come pick up my firearm. After driving an hour and a half from port Angeles I’m informed because the firearm has a threaded barrel they have to refund me and can not sell me the firearm. Had Brenden done his job and updated my paperwork in a timely fashion, the ban which passed two weeks after I had a proceed for my firearm would not have effected me and I would have wasted hours of my time at this store. Very disappointed and will never spend my money at this store again.5-17-23 Update: I reached out to the email that the owner asked me to in response to my review over the weekend. The email said they would be in touch in 24-48 hours. Almost 72 hours later I have no response from anyone in customer service, management, or the owner.Update 5-28-2023: customer service has responded to my email once on 5-19-2023 offering me a extremely small discount on my next purchase. I told them that was not good enough since they violated my rights by their mere negligence. They have not responded back two either of my two emails I followed up on with them. It appears sportsman’s warehouse supports abolishing our second amendment right. The owner responded to my review with a generic customer service email which is obviously non responsive with no real care in mitigating the issue.Update 6/8/2023: Customer service still has not responded back to my email. They made contact with me once and that was it. Apparently Sportsman’s just files customer complaints in the shredder. Don’t bother with this company.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The people at the gun desk are knowledgeable. The prices are average, not over priced, competitive compared to other sellers of the same brands and items. They give a 10% military discount, which I appreciate! My only complaint is that their ammo section can be sparse. They run out often.

The employees are amazing and really try to help, but so severely understaffed it's embarrassing. For such a major store there is usually 4-5 people working the entire warehouse. That means in back rooms sorting, gun counter, register, optics, and customer service desk. So in every way so understaffed it takes me around one and a half hours to check out of online orders or a firearm. Highly recommend going somewhere else until upper figures out how to properly staff.
