I'm not sure how many times I have traveled through "The Trails" and not noticed Mud Bay Pet Supply Store.I noticed them today and decided to drop in and see what it was all about.The first things that I noticed as I entered the store, off to my right was a Christmas tree with all of these adorable pictures of cats and dogs; at least those are the animals that I saw, and on the back of the photos were the needs of these shelter pets. Food, toys, litter, blankets, items which no animal should ever do without, and seeing all of these pictures continues to break my heart on multiple levels.I noticed a small bulk section of food/treats, a ton of toys, litter, food, etc. I wish I would have taken a little more time and looked around, but I was so focused on grabbing some cans of food for a couple of the shelter cats in need of it. Unfortunately, there was only Wellness kitten food offered there however Wellness is a great brand, and one of a few brands I feed my kitties.The store, as a whole, was inviting and laid out pretty well. It appeared clean and well organized.This is a small owned business that was started in Olympia, Washington. This company has grown to almost 60 stores, there may be more stores by now, and although there are several stores, it isn't like shopping in a Petco or Petsmart.The two employees working at that time seemed friendly and helpful.The Mud Bay pet supplies location is in The Trails at Silverdale - 11467 Pacific Crest Pl STE C125, Silverdale, WA 98383, and because of their location there's plenty of parking space.Their website Mudbay.com, provides a lot of information including information on partnerships they have, including animal welfare partnerships, they also hand out advice on keeping your pets healthy from a kitten to your wonderful senior baby, you can even request information from a veterinarian. We love our local Mud Bay! The employees really make the store special. They love to say hi to our dogs every time we bring them in, spoil them with treat samples, and help with any questions the humans have. There is a large scale for weighing your dog, and they have bulk dog treats in a variety of flavors, including a number of grain free treats. We own one of their refillable buckets, which gets you a discount on bulk treats. They also have a huge selection of other delicious chewable things like lamb lung, fish skins, cheese puffs, etc. The store is curated and carries a lot of specialty/unique food, supplies, toys and treats that you don't get at the big box stores, while also not being too high end/expensive.

Love bringing my dogs, piper n willow here! The staff are extremely nice and accommodating. They’re very knowledgeable on different topics for dogs big and small. They even gave me a few free dog food toppers to try for my girls! I’ll always come back here for a good experience for my girls. Thank you.

Store is very clean and well organized, great selection and helpful staff. First time visitors get sample snacks and a coupon for next time. They have a scale to weigh your pets and a water bowl too.

Been here a few times and it was generally okay we've been in quite a few across the pnw their employees are pretty kind, but it just doesn't feel like they try that hard. Definitely have had better service elsewhere.

Our family loves MudBay! Our fur babies love MudBay! This is the only place we've been able to find our preferred dog food, which is essential because our girls are picky. They have a wide variety of quality items despite smaller real estate space. It's a bit expensive, but really is meant for those that pamper their fur babies. The staff is helpful/knowledgeable and owners are always nice. They've even ordered items for us that were out of stock. Clean, well stocked and good retail layout/floorplan. Great addition to our community! 4 stars given only because there aren't a wide variety of general price point preferred items that most pet owners would be willing to spend/pay. Store also offers gift cards, accepts cash and credit/debit.

The staff is always helpful. If you have. If you have a new pet or if you suddenly have to change your pets diet, they have a 3 free can sample limit that allows you to try different wet foods to find the right fit and brand for your furry baby. The products are great. The toys are cute. And they are pretty decently priced for the name brands they carry.

Organized, big selection, healthy products, clean, quality, great staff.These are just some of the qualities of this mud bay location! Came in for the first time today and had a great experience! The staff was very very kind and welcoming even tho we came a little bit before close!! Everything was well maintained and organized and was happy to see so many healthy options compared to the Walmarts and such. 5/5 will come back!:)

We love this store! We were driving about 45 mins to get our dogs food and fill up our treat bucket. Last night we decided to try their home delivery(Monday) and were surprised they came out to our little town past Belfair. My order estimation was Thursday but it came by the next day on Tuesday with free dog treats. I'm so impressed and will be using for future dog food needs. Thank you!

Moved here in the past year, and I am so glad there is a Mudbay kind of close by (an hour away from me 😕😊) used to live in Oregon, where it was 15 min and my dogs loves there big bin treats.

Goodness the employees here are spectacular. I had called Lydia looking for a crate for my husky. She checked the floor and gave me lots of options that they had. Every employee there was beyond helpful when I had got there, they showed me to where the crates were, did a price check, helped me get it out of the store. Super friendly and kind people!

You can call anytime and speak to a real person who's willing to be helpful and provide insight and education toward what products you think is best for your pet while receiving wonderful customer service. I often speak to Amiah she's super sweet, and very knowledgeable. I asked what would be best for my dog considering she's having joint pain and she was able to provide a website along with a suggestion that completely fit my needs. Very impressed and always feel very comforted after having an experience with this store / staff . Thank you.

Not only is this place a fantastic store to get all different kinds of foods for your animals’ needs, but the people here are incredible. I’ve been shopping here since this location opened. The employees are incredibly helpful, and they treat your animals like their own. I wish there were MudBay franchises down south because I’m going to miss how easy it is to shop here, and the awesome/easily accessible products. I’m also going to thoroughly miss the people here. Hands down the BEST pet store/pet supply store I’ve ever been in.

What an amazing place for pets. We were waiting for a table next door and decided to look. I'm glad we did. They have a large inventory and the food and supplements are not your run of the mill pet food store. All of it seemed to be high quality and specialized. Mud Bay has a good assortment of treats, collars and leads. We bought a few items and also bought 4 of their donation bags. You'll find those by the check out. Check this place out. Very helpful and friendly staff!!

A wonderful place that focused on health and happiness for furrbabies while being diverse, loving and accepting members of the community. I took my 10 year old border collie and 12 year old corgi into the store on their birthdays and the staff made it a point to say hi and give pets, page more amazing humans from the breakroom to say hello AND treated them to frozen yogurt! They organize fundraisers for local non-profits and are just overall incredible people with pure values. Hands down our favorite place for our furrbaby needs, or just a good serotonin release.
