I have been a little curious about Blu Berry Frozen Yogurt; apparently, they have been in Silverdale for about ten years. Their location is one I would use the phrase "out of sight out of mind" although located in a popular area, Silverdale Towne Center; their location is in the back.I made it a point to be there when they opened at noon today; the hours threw me off a little; noon seems a little late, but here's hoping those hours will change slightly earlier in the consumer's favor.The yogurt shop appeared to be clean, aesthetically pleasing. There is even a little area with a fake fireplace to mingle by.I noticed right away all the many toppings that I had to choose from, along with several yogurts.The frozen yogurt area is self-serve; however, the topping is not. And you are charged by the total weight of your yogurt and toppings and not by the dish size. I chose chocolate yogurt, although cheesecake was calling my name, chocolate won out!Keeping it healthy is hard to do with all of the different chocolate candies, brownies, granola, gummy bears, sprinkles, fruit toppings, hot fudge, and so many other toppings would take me half an hour to list them all.I also understand there are sorbets and frozen custards as well?!?!?I only wanted to try the yogurt, not wanting an entire bowl of yogurt; I filled my bowl about a third of the way and had two maraschino cherries to top it off. If I had to guess what it weighed, I would say around four ounces; that is just a guess; she never told me its weight. Mind you, they charge by the weight and not the bowl. And that was over four dollars.The yogurt was yummy and refreshing; I can see myself returning, just for the yogurt; no need to add all of those extra candy calories ;)The employees that helped me were friendly and very helpful.Blu Berry's location is 9989 Silverdale Way NW #101, Silverdale, Washington. They are located in Silverdale Towne Center near the back of Fujiyamas and across from Wok on Fire.Parking can be a little bit of a nightmare as they share space with several other businesses in Silverdale Towne Center, including Panera, Arbys, Big 5 sporting goods, to name a few.Eat healthier or decadent, whatever your heart desires; if you haven't tried Blu Berry Frozen Yogurt, you're missing out!!!"Just remember, tough times build strong people with a lot of character and compassion."

The selection of flavors is good, the spread of toppings is good, and the folks behind the counter are wonderful. The most recent time we were there they didn't have plain tart, which was disappointing. The lack of plain tart didn't decrease the quality of the expetience, of course, it's still a solid froyo place.

Its always busy and have good employees. I like it recommend it for hot or cold days, cold days because of warm atmosphere it has . Italian tart is my favorite, I wish they had any options with 0 fat 0 sugar. But still 5 star. Any icecream shop need to be kids friendly and this place is one of good ones. Also it's good to take your date here . Enjoy

This place used to be great when we could choose our own toppings! It used to be so much better! If I wanted one sprinkle, that's what I got. If I wanted one green gummy bear or two blue M&Ms, that's what I got. Now, I have to awkwardly hand my yogurt cup to an employee. I asked for a gummy shark and they put like 8 of them on there. My yogurt ended up being very heavy and it was like $15. Please make it the way it used to be.

It's been a long time since I've had frozen yogurt here. Looks like they remodeled a little bit, but the service is still good and the yogurt is still yummy. Today I got the cheesecake yogurt. Topped it with cheesecake bites, peanut butter, and mango popping boba. Omg, I've missed this place. Definitely coming back soon :)

This is the worst tasting frozen yogurt I've ever had. Not only do the flavors not taste the way they're labeled, but the frozen yogurt has a grainy texture. And to top it off.. (or should I say no top it off) you can't add your own toppings. It was not a great experience, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. 🤮

Great place to take your kid after a school concert! Lots of toppings and flavors to choose from. They have a punch card where you get a free cup after you purchase 10!

Blu Berry is delicious and I have been a long time customer from when they first opened. Toppings and yogurt flavors are always great however I would greatly appreciate being able to serve my own toppings again. I find it very awkward to have the employees do it. Sometimes I get way too much of a topping I've requested, even if I ask for a small amount and there's nothing I can do about it. It's not like I can put it back. PLEASE go back to the old way!!

The yogurt and toppings are great. I was very disappointed that they no longer offer free tap water. You have to buy a bottle of Kirkland brand water for 50 cents or go thirsty. I don't know of any other restaurant in the area that does that. Some fast food places will give you free water, even if you don't buy anything. The fro yo tastes good, but this policy leaves a bad taste in my mouth! Maybe a compromise would be to charge a few cents for the cup.

Edit: 1-star review to 5-stars. We’ve come back here a couple times recently. We were really craving frozen yogurt and we were in the area. Luckily, the lady who turned us off from coming back was not there. We had 2 new people working who were kind to us and our kids. It was nice being able to enjoy the experience.Response to Business: We visited before you closed.Lady who was working the counter acted like we came to her house uninvited and just wanted us to leave. As much as my kids enjoyed the experience, we’ll be going somewhere else in the future.

Super cute place, lots of seating (indoor and out, your choice) family/kid friendly with TONS of options for toppings. I just wish they had more flavor options for the froyo itself. For the flavor and amount of choice you have, I think the pricing is very reasonable. (Though if you have a large family it might turn out to be quite an expensive treat) There was lovely music playing and it's located right in the center of a little strip mall of stores. Will definitely be coming back! 🌸🌱🍃🌼✨

Always has a flow of customers in and out of the place, price is always fair. The selection is decent, wish they carried regular tart froyo more often. Great way to end the week. The staff really seem to enjoy their job. The atmosphere is relaxed, not too noisy. The staff are on point about cleanliness and refilling the toppings.

for a good yogurt ice cream this is the place!!... unfortunately some employees make you feel disappointed and not welcome when you arrive at the place 15 minutes before they close, 15 minutes!!I mean, I understand that it would be very annoying to arrive a minute before closing but 15 minutes?The girl who puts the toppings on the ice cream served us with a bad face and a bad attitude, she served us the toppings and she did not hide her annoyance, the cashier not as much as the other but in the same way my children noticed the bad attitude.How sad and outrageous that a business loses customers due to the attitudes of its employees.

Always yummy but I wasn't fond of their new "rules" to be safe with covid. We came in and were instantly ran at by a worker and told to sanitize and put on gloves before proceeding. We had already grabbed stuff and started getting our yogurt. There wasn't a sign anywhere. The lady was pretty short about it. We watched 4 more groups come in after us. 3 didn't get told to put the gloves on and sanitize. 1 group was asked nicely to either sanitize or wear gloves. When we went to get toppings they had to do it. I told her very light toppings for my kids each topping and she was still very heavy handed. I understand there has to be new rules in place but let's make sure employees are still polite to customers and if they have to get the toppings let's make sure they actually listen to the customer especially when price is based on weight. My kids ended up not eating all the toppings because it was just too much and that's just wasted money. I'm giving 4 stars because the yogurt is and toppings are still yummy and we still enjoyed ourselves.

This is a really fun place for frozen yogurt. I come here fairly often, and it's nice to see a staff that clearly takes pride in their place. They have the basic flavors, but they rotate or with some interesting flavors quite often. Normally this isn't all that noteworthy except the interesting flavors actually can appeal to a very broad range of tastes. It can be a little pricey if you're not careful. The tendency might be to overdo it with the toppings, but it all adds to the fun of the whole place.

Pretty run-of-the-mill frozen yogurt place. The interior design it's a little bit cold, not really like a comfy place that I would want to hang out in for a while. They have a huge selection of toppings which is super nice. the staff that work there all look very young but they are very professional and helpful. Probably the nicest of the staff was the best part of my visit.

We usually love this place. I just spent $14 on my granddaughter and myself. My granddaughter wanted to taste some of the flavors we didn't get. She tasted four, in the little paper tasting cups that are provided. When she went to get a cup for the fourth tasting, a very rude employee had hidden the tasting cups!! And commented that they usually don't let people taste 50 flavors! It's not like we went in and tasted everything without spending a dime. I will definitely find another place that appreciates making a decent sized sale to take my granddaughter to next time!

We come here often and I’m so disappointed about our encounter today. As soon as we walked to our table after paying we remembered we needed to get our card punched so my husband walked right back up and they wouldn’t let us get our card punched. Apparently because the “sale went through” already which makes zero sense because they always punch our card AFTER we pay. I don’t think we will be coming back.
