Shoreline Central has been amazing at every experience we have had with them. Honorable mention to the incredible Dr. Holly. Our cat Ozzie was always difficult at the vet and was so fearful he would need to be sedated in order to be seen for any reason, routine or otherwise. Any vet we took him to over his 10 years had a hard time understanding, but Dr. Holly was the most compassionate and wonderful vet to him. We brought our Ozzie in on a Thursday for what we thought would just need to be a deep teeth cleaning as he was no longer eating his dry food. After many more visits, tests, and progressive symptoms, our sweet Ozzie was diagnosed with heart disease and needed to be put to rest only a couple of days after diagnosis. Dr. Holly did absolutely everything she could for him while also being kind, communicative, and compassionate to all of us. My husband and I talked a lot about how we have never worked with a better vet that we trust as much as her. When it came time to make the decision to put him down, Dr. Holly came in on her day off to call us and check on him. We told her what we were thinking, but we were scared because he was only 10 years old. She ultimately assured us in what we knew, and we felt so much better after speaking with her. Dr. Holly – thank you so much for everything you did for our Ozzie. We appreciate you and the staff at Shoreline Central more than you could ever imagine! We will be back with our dog and our new kitties.

We love Shoreline Central Animal Hospital! They are compassionate, reasonably priced and have consistently given excellent care to our dogs over the years. We’ve been coming since our previous vet relocated in early 2020. Not only are they honest and straightforward, we fully trust their care of our fur babies. Thank you for all you do!

I have been taking my cat here since he was diagnosed with kidney failure.Three weeks ago I called re issues my son and I were having doing the intravenous fluids. I had asked if they had a smaller needle we could use.Three weeks later, realizing we just could not do the injections, we took Peri in and a smaller needle was used on him. I can’t say enough good things about this vet. They really do care about you and your pets and they truly listen and hear what you have to say! I feel that the prices are very reasonable. I am on social security and I cannot afford a lot. I highly recommend!!!

I’ve been pleased with all the care we have received at Shoreline Central. Costs have been reasonable and the care has been excellent. The staff and vets have been friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. They have been easy to reach when follow up care was needed. Highly recommend

Took my cat to Shoreline Central Animal Hospital and left feeling incredibly relieved. They treated my girl (the same day I called) for a UTI and respiratory symptoms; she is already feeling better. The staff is highly informative and attentive. Their pricing is fair for the level of care they deliver and being able to treat her on the same day. Thank you so much!

They are awsome!. They are reasonably priced and they get to know you and most importantly your pet. My cats loved the doctor, one of my cats usually runs away and hides (which she did at first) came back to the doctor. I was amazed. Thank you!

I just had my older cat in for his yearly check up and I was very pleased with vet, Dr. Isla and with the test results. The vet called that evening with the test results and I was sent the results to my email. My wait to see the vet was very short and everyone was kind and helpful. I would certainly recommend this vet service and clinic to any who need pet care.

Very thorough ; discussed options; estimate and called after blood results and right before surgery. I’m so happy you are so close. Respectfully, although it was over a $1,000, we received X-rays, biopsy , blood work , teeth cleaning. She’s 13. It was very fair.

Excellent visit. Every one that I came in contact with was extremely nice and professional. My sometimes feisty senior cat was treated respectfully and with great care. I highly recommend this animal hospital.

Everyone from the lead receptionist, Emily, to the excellent veterinary professionals of all levels have always provided knowledgeable, kind and compassionate care to my “army”of 4 aging chihuahuas. Dr Isla Dubendorf has often gone above and beyond to attend to their unique challenges. I would not take them anywhere else.

I've had a great experience with my sick cat. She's needed ongoing treatment and we've had no problems getting appointments and working with the same vet each time. She's been well taken care of and I get the sense the staff really cares about my cat.

These people really do want to help. Their prices are very reasonable. They took good care of my Doberman pincher when she needed PTLO surgery. Each time I called I was able to talk to someone. The staff was kind and helpful. If you need affordable surgery on your animal, I highly recommend taking them here!

Shoreline Central was and remains my primary vet but service has become less than ideal. We used to get our animals in quickly with a fast turn around and a responsive staff. Now you cannot get a call back or a text back from anyone. We waited a month for my dogs biopsy results. I called at least weekly for an update and never once received a call back. Finally when I got ahold of someone it just so happened to have come in that day! What are the actual odds?!I went in recently for my other dogs surgery. When we left we noticed the discharge paperwork didn’t even have the correct dogs name on it let alone the correct limb. The doctor seemed confused by it- but no corrections were made. It’s like attention to detail has dropped significantly and it’s more about people coming and going.Fast forward to trying to get a response about my dogs recovery. I was told to send a message after two weeks post op to see if her walk looks good. Well, two weeks was three weeks ago and despite trying to get a response at least once a week, I’m still pending a response.Prices are good, and people are friendly enough. That’s why the three stars. But definitely not deserving of the 5 stars they once were deserving of in my opinion.

If could put no stars I would. Shoreline central animal hospital is the biggest scam. They will do their very best to overcharge you and will outright lie to you about what your dog needs. I went there for a travel certification for domestic travel yet they refused to give that to me and insisted I needed the international health certificate which costs a significant amount more. Ultimately we ended up getting a refund and going to a different vet that gave us what we needed for literally half the price. But shoreline central animal hospital completely wasted half of our day and never admitted fault. Save yourself both time and money and just don’t ever go there.***UPDATE*** Greetings from Puerto Rico! Which in case anyone needs a geography lesson is part of the United States. Like we told you, we never needed an international health certificate. Luckily another vet gave us what was needed and only charged us $225 vs the almost $600 that you tried to charge me. So as I said.. this place is a scam trying to get you out of your money.

My cat was having some issues and I came to Shoreline Central for the first time. I initially scheduled an appointment online for a few days out, but the staff contacted me and scheduled a same-day appointment due to some of his symptoms. I was so appreciative of that!My visit was great. Everyone there was so nice and definitely animal lovers. Dr. Dubendorf was so kind, thoughtful, and broke everything down to me in a way I could understand. I left the appointment feeling like we had a good handle on what was going on an a solid care plan for my cat.Pricing was fair and the staff notified me before I even came in what the cost would look like for a same day appointment. I am definitely taking all of my animals here for care :) Thanks everyone!

I highly recommend Shoreline Central Animal Hospital . The staff is super friendly & they were great with my 3 year old dog. The previous vet I used made my dog use a muzzle & asked me to sedate her, she would shake because she was so nervous. S.C.A.H. was the opposite of that experience. My dog was wagging her tail & you can just tell they really love animals. Most importantly my dog was happy & comfortable!

Amazing vet! We have taken our dog to a few vets in emergencies, but this vet was the best. They were able to get her in the fastest (within an hour) and treated her so well. They are very reasonably priced compared to other vets in my experience. They are also very transparent with prices which I respect. Dr. Luecht is very knowledgeable and really cares about your pet. Definitely recommend!

This clinic takes care of our dogs and always do a great job. But when we had to put down my daughter's pet rat, it can be hard to find a vet that will handle small animals. They did a great job, were highly compassionate, and treated us so kindly. Could not recommend more.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude for everything Doctor Paulson and all staff members who helped treating my dog’s bone fracture in the past couple months. The procedure was smooth and the cost was extremely reasonable compare to other quotes I received.

While the vet herself was amazing, knowledgeable and very friendly. She seems like she genuinely care and have good customer service. The ladies at the front desk and/or whoever picks up the phone.. not so much. They have an attitude and are very dismissive.

I like that they didn't scold me for feeding my dog real food, as in home cooked. Yes, they did asked me what the ingredients consisted, as she should. But instead of making me feel incompetent, they told me it was good what I was doing, but to give less peas because of a study that showed too much of the protein caused heart problems. At the former vet I had my dog I was told it was very risky and they absolutely went against it. They said it was because many home cooked meals for dogs do not have enough vitamins and minerals, etc. Too much of this not enough that. And they suggested to buy a brand they sold there. But Shorline vet checked my dog thoroughly, and said he was very strong and healthy, his teeth looked very nice and strong, and to keep doing whatever I was doing just watch the peas. 😋. My dog is fear reactive and I let them know as soon as they came into the room. They did exactly what they needed to do to get him to feel safe and get him to cooperate. He even let the vet pet him around his face! My dog is a Pandemic dog and was not able to socialize properly. But I have been working hard with him and he is getting better so I was happy to see that he also is less reactive as time passes. He had a positive time at the vet and I am glad. Shoreline staff knows what they are doing.

There are a few options for veterinary care in the area and we decided to try out Shoreline Central. It is conveniently located near other businesses incase you have to wait without your pet while they are getting cared for.To establish care we paid for a wellness exam ($85) and sent over all our records. We renewed vaccines for our pup and they all ranged from $30-35 each.Overall, I appreciate how smooth and easy it was to get scheduled. We were in and out, and the prices are comparable to neighboring clinics.

We’ve taken our cats here for two years and before that my dog for several. The facility is always calm and clean. The staff are always professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable. The vet was running a little late, but I think that’s normal. Very kind and communicative.

Everyone at SCAH has done a great job with our reactive rescue pup. They have consistently been sensitive, attuned and patient with her. Highly recommended for anyone who lives nearby and is looking for quality care for their pet.

I am a first-time puppy mom. I’ve seen at least 3-4 vets before trying Shoreline Central Animal Hospital (SCAH). I switched vets a few times for various reasons, namely, not feeling confident about the vet’s competence and professionalism. After a few bad experiences, I found SCAH. I finally found a vet that is professional, competent and TRANSPARENT with fees.I saw Dr. Isla and her sincere concern and the quality of care in how she observes your pet is something I can’t highlight enough. Not only did she give my pet a thorough examination, she even noticed her butt-scooting and inquired about that. Extracted her glands and did not even charge me. In contrast, when I brought this up to another vet, it was brushed off as something not to worry about. SCAH is very clean, professional, and transparent in their pricing. I highly recommend! My experience with other vets (certain Banfield branches and the another local clinic, NGVC) felt gratuitous — for example, an overemphasis on peppering you and your pet with praise versus clinical, professional judgment that actually aligns with the symptoms your pet may be experiencing.SCAH will give you clear, quality pet care, and not try to up-sell you like other vet clinics.

I live far away and this was the only orthopedic surgeon that didn’t charge me out the butt, yes it was an expensive procedure but could have been worse else where. They are very communicative and delt with my anxiety I had for my baby’s surgery. Hunter is home recovering now from his TPLO.Before I left the doctor took time to answer all my questions and concerns as well. I felt very comfortable with taking my pup here! I’d go back if I have the need to!

My 16 1/2 year old dog, Darcy, started having problems with her mouth, and stopped eating and drinking. We rushed her in to this veterinarian hospital to have her checked. This is a veterinarian hospital that takes appointments but everyone was very kind to us, and they got her right in. The vet was very nice as she talked with us about Darcy's symptoms, but she never even gave her an exam. She did reccomend $1800 in dental work that "they could do this week if we scheduled it today." We felt this was really odd because our poor little dog was so sick, and not even drinking water. We know from being dog owners for years, this is an emergency situation for a dog, especially a geriatric one. We left there and immediately decided to get a second opinion. The second veterinarian hospital in Edmonds did bloodwork, gave her a full exam, and prescribed antibiotics, pain medication, and gave us a "next-steps" plan. They have also followed up with me twice to see how Darcy was doing. Shoreline Central only followed up to schedule the dental work. After taking the first course of medication, Darcy ate and drank that same night. We know from the bloodwork, we may now be facing a cancer diagnosis. Darcy, is not out of the woods, but we now have the time and space to make a decision that is bet for our little gal. Be careful.
