I've been a client at Cats Exclusive for twenty years. The veterinary care is superb, and the doctors are aware of advances in medical care for cats. Their guidance helped me navigate kidney disease according to new science, which greatly improved my previous cat's quality of life.They have boarding services where your cat can receive medications if needed, as well as a store stocked with food, snackies, toys, scratchers, cards, and lots of other cat products.Photo of an examination room, which definitely does not show my cat, who is an expert at hiding. I am so, *so* thankful for Cats Exclusive Veterinary Center! We were in the process of establishing care here when my cat’s health acutely worsened. Everyone from the reception staff to LVTs to DVMs have been incredibly responsive, accommodating, and most importantly knowledgeable. We’ve seen Dr. Elliot and Dr. Wilford, and I was blown away by them both. I feel their prices are very reasonable given the quality of care they have consistently provided us. They’ve followed up by phone and by email, and it’s clear they care deeply about how/if their patients are progressing. I feel lucky to have such talented clinicians treating my kitty (who is feeling much better because of their exceptional work)

You really can't find a better place to treat your cats. The entire staff is warm and kind and loves cats. Through their care our cats have lead long healthy lives from 14 to 20 years. They aren't cheap but they are worth every penny.

I wanted to leave a review because some people left bad reviews due to COVID-19. These people have always been so incredibly nice to my two kitties, so caring, and they hire vets who are specialists for cats. They are the best vet clinic I have ever been to, and I have been taking my cats there for over half a decade. I love them and value them immensely as a Shoreline institution. As the name implies, this place is very “exclusive”. I called to set up care for a cat I recently adopted and was told that they rarely open up their books for new clients. As of 2/27/24 they claim that they may not allow new clients again for another 6-8 weeks! They also said that they only keep that window open for new clients for about 4 days. I imagine they’re exclusively expensive as well so I will be taking my business elsewhere! Thanks but no thanks.

The staff here is always friendly. And they will work with you on prices. Still super expensive like any of that clinic but the doctors are really take care of your pets. They saved my cat my diagnosing a really quickly prescribing medicine that I gave him now daily. I will keep coming here rather than go to another place just because the care is so good.

NOT DEPENDABLE. We had been taking our cats to Cats Exclusive for over 10 years for vet care, regular checkups, and boarding and had always been very happy with the care we received. Then recently our cat became very sick, but they refused to see her because she had not been in within the last 12 months and we were not considered "regular customers" anymore. It was a very stressful experience to have to find another vet on short notice. We have spent thousands of dollars at this clinic over the years for several of our pets but are now apparently no longer welcome here. Cannot recommend.

Looks can be deceiving despite his Super Hero outfit... our beloved Artie, whom is deaf, toothless, behavioral issues, and missing 1 paw sorta cat, seems to find ANY sort of excuse to put himself back in the hands of Cat Exclusive's ER care. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and treat your cat like he/she is your loved one for sure. You'll really enjoy shopping their retail section too! I don't know about price comparison to vet care, but I promise you that your cat is in GOOD HANDS here! I always say, "You get what you pay for," and this place is solid!

It's for cats only! Its clean. Vet is knowledgeable, and very thorough. I feel better about my cat at a cat's only vet. Much better than an any animal vet. Especially for cats. I've always felt underserved in the past. Much happier with a feline specialist vet.

As of the date on this review, I have been taking my cat here for the past 6 months. My cat, Cherry, has asthma. They have been amazing and have been working with me on Cherry's treatment plan. They treat her with care, listen to my concerns, answer my questions, clue me in on what they are thinking, and educate me. I trust the doctors (Dr. Schuldt and Dr. Wilford are especially amazing!), techs, and staff here and I usually leave the clinic feeling calm and well informed.

Our 2 kitties have been going to Cats Exclusive Vets for years, and worked with multiple vets and vet techs. You can tell everyone there loves cats. Their focus on cats really helps them connect and work well with our 2 gals as they move into their teens. They answer all our questions and give good advice. We’ve also had to get some dental work done for one of our cats here and it went flawlessly.

I love this clinic for my cats. They are by name and practice, for cats only which means less stress for my cats and specialized knowledge from the vets. They are all very compassionate and knowledgeable and I have not had one bad experience there. I always recommend cat owners go to this clinic for the best possible cat care 😸

We recently moved and I wanted one of my cats to get a second opinion on some breathing issues and this place was great! Personally, I couldn’t be there for the appointment, by significant other went due to a work conflict. But I provided all the notes needed and the vet read through all of them! She actually took the time to listen to our concerns and address them, which our previous vet brushed off. And since I wasn’t able to go, they sent me a very detailed email of the encounter, our options, their recommendations, and an estimated quote for possible procedures. I couldn’t be happier with the customer service we have been provided!

Super communicative: staff takes time to explain opens to owners. Vets follow up with email or phone call results and options for next actions. I was afraid a specialized clinic would be much more expensive, but it isn’t. I’m grateful I had established my cats before the pandemic so they could have continuityof care. I would not put my time, energy, or money anywhere else.

The cat focus gives them expertise above any other vet I've visited. And the lack of dogs really helped my cats with their vet anxiety. Definitely not the cheapest vet option, but they have been giving my cats the best treatment possible at an acceptable price.

Been taking my cats to Cats Exclusive for almost a decade. They are always friendly and helpful, everyone here obviously LOVES cats (all four of the cats I have brought over the years always get genuine gushy compliments), and most importantly they take excellent care of my babies. Vet visits are stressful enough, so not having to also deal with the unpredictability of dogs is a huge relief (to them AND me).Cats Exclusive has also been very careful and methodical when it comes to the pandemic, so I appreciate knowing they're looking out for me as well as the kitties.Constantly recommending to all my friends when I hear they are looking for a vet. They're the best!

I can't praise this clinic highly enough! They take such good care of my 16 year old kitty. I'm admittedly more than a little obsessed with my cat. She's my little best friend so I try to get her the BEST medical care possible and I've found it here. I don't want to just get her shots and call it a day (no judgement if that is what you're looking for but it's not what I need in a clinic.) My cat is also a complete a**hole at the vet, and all the staff here are amazing with her. They really care about her comfort and stress levels which means a lot to me. I've noticed she's less traumatized after visits to this clinic than she was at clinics with dogs. Dr. Elliot is thorough, super kind and I trust her 100% with my girl. Her team is also phenomenal and I'm impressed with every staff members kindness, empathy and professionalism (if I was better with names I would include individual shout-outs.) They stopped taking new patients due the the pandemic (which shows their dedication to their current patient's needs), but once they re-open for new patients I can't recommend this clinic enough!

Loved my first visit! They were recommended by my previous vet. From the person who answered my first phone call to make an appointment to the actual visit itself, everyone was super friendly and helpful. The vet did the entire physical exam sitting on the floor with a towel in her lap and was very responsive to feedback about how my cat reacts to stress or what makes her feel more secure. The visit was quick and straight forward which I really appreciate. I'm already recommending this center to other people in my neighborhood.

Cats Exclusive has been a great experience for us. With Covid we are unable to meet the staff and doctors face to face, but they do a great job communicating over the phone. When our very old cat was sick, they would call and check in on how she was doing. They seem to genuinely care about their patients and their humans.

We love this vet. We have taken our two cats here ever since we moved to Shoreline several years ago. The staff are wonderful with the cats and treat them like their own. When one cat suddenly became ill and we discovered several deep, infected cuts on his abdomen, Cats Exclusive was able to get us in right away. They took great care of him and called several times to check on him after we'd taken him home following his stitches. And his two follow-up appointments were free!I don't know how they compare with other local vets in terms of price, but the level of service is outstanding and we won't take our cats anywhere else!

I've been bringing my cat here for both veterinary care and boarding for years and they always take great care of him. Visiting the vet is a much calmer experience for him with no dogs around and everyone here seems to genuinely love cats. They're friendly to people, too. ;)

I used to come here with my mother a few years ago when we had our cats. Now that I live alone and have two kittens of my own, I thought it would be a great idea to go back to them. The staff is so welcoming and friendly, while maintaining a professional attitude. Since it was my first official time on my own, I was offered a tour of their hospital. I even got a phone call the following day, asking how the kitties were doing after they got their first round of shots. I will definitely keep coming to Cats Exclusive!
