Today went to Dollar Tree for a few items. Being 82 and arthritic, looked for an outside basket, saw a 'walmart' cart someone left in front of Dollar Tree, i brought it in to use, since their store carts have the tall poles prohibiting taking items to our cars outside. I mentioned to checker woman, about the carts. she 'chewed' me out for bringing it into the store. Said it was too large to go down their aisles. Obvious since huge flats of stock were in several aisles unloaded. Clerk said to take purchases out by bags. And I should take the cart out of the store. I had 10 cans of soup, a Cola bottle plus other items. No store cart availability for elderly, disabled. Cannot fathom leaving some of my paid merchandise in bags in the store to schlep out a few bags at a time. Customer Service is poor. Agree with other reviewers, most clerks I encounter are lacking in people skills. If you hate your job. Find another.

I was there today,and Suzy had her line backed up so far she asked for assistance the old woman is short gray curly hair heavy set rolled her eyes she was over by the manager's office doing something with some boxes went over to the register picked out two people didn't turn her light on and then got mad because other people got in her .line and people were apologizing because she had to bring up their freaking order,she was rude and acting like we were imposing on her time I'm sorry this lady has got to retire or something because she gets paid to ring up our groceries not to be annoyed by customers kristy,she gets paid to get the sales rung up, not to be rude. I was looking around for you and if I'd have found you I would have told you exactly what happened she could have been out that door you should fire that woman.

I love the dollar tree. I never know what gem I might find. Each location can have some variety of inventory. I have been impressed by the quality of some items. I got these plastic containers for sending leftovers with people through the holidays.

I find the employees to not be very helpful when it comes to me asking where things are, or their supplies seems to be very low and things that I need, or they just don’t have what I need. Today, I went to return something that didn’t work, and because they said it was “used” they would not even do an exchange,( because they don’t do returns at all, they do exchanges), which I didn’t even want in the first place, but I was OK with. Anyway, I left with the thing that I don’t want because it doesn’t work, but there’s nothing I can do. Trying to contact some type of customer support but their website doesn’t seem to be working, conveniently… I find most of the employees do not show good customer service, Which, I’m sorry, but that’s your job. I’ve worked Customer Service my whole life and it’s not very hard to just be polite to someone. Especially when you see that they’re having a hard time with their two-year-old. I will only return to the store if I need something such as dishes which I find are very nice and cheap. Otherwise, I am staying away because it’s not worth my time.

They are very nice and can help you find anything in the store that you want and they have really cute things that you can buy that is the reason that l choese 5 stars thank y~o~u f~o~r y~o~u~r t~i~m~e.

i stopped in really fast to look for something There were three Hispanic young men in front of me about the age 14 as we walked in the store i heard one of the works tell another older worker to watch them i seen her fallow these young men up and down the rows finally she asked the young boys if they were going to buy something if not they could leave that they weren't going to mess around in her store .they weren't doing nothing wrong but giggling and being boys . she then fallowed right behind them down a few more rows. where the boys picked up some chips then paid . i dont know if these kids were treated like this because of their racist or because of their age but it was disgusting instead of profiling these young men spend your time cleaning the store and business would grow i wont be back to a store that treats humans like this !!!

Debra the cashier was to be quite frank, the most rude person I’ve ever come across, and I hope to never come across her again. She threw my mothers receipt and change at her. If you’re that miserable Debra, find a new job, don’t bring others down with you.

I had no choice but to give a star... the 2 older employees there are very rude and disrespectful that tend to spout off rude comments to people with children. Look at Shelton Talk Facebook many posts made complaining about this type of behavior. The store is a mess, nothing on the shelves ever. Boxes clutter all isles of the store and it is like an obstacle course trying to navigate through the mess of unloaded inventory. It seems as if they never get to put out the following weeks inventory before the next shipment arrives. They only ever have one employee running the cash register, and one that sits in the office. Bathrooms are always dirty or blocked off so that you cannot use them. I WOULD RATHER DRIVE TO OLYMPIA THAN PUT UP WITH THE DISREspect!

Cashier named Debra has been rude countless times to me and my family while at checkout. She seems like a miserable person, who never learned if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it.

I'm very annoyed with the manager of the Shelton store. The manager shut down the checkout line right in front of me. I had to go to the only other line which had two very large orders ahead of me. I only had 4 things that would have taken just a second to check out. The poor lone checker was trying as best she could as the check out line got longer and longer. She had trouble with the register and had to call the manager from the back to help her. The manager came out of the back, where I was still waiting in line, looked at me, saw the backed up line and disappeared again. Terrible rude customer service.

I'm at the Dollar Tree all the time. I can't afford the more expensive stores, and Dollar Tree has almost everything I need. Household supplies, food aisles, gift cards, yard supplies, toys for the kids, craft supplies, and so much more!! And, at every Dollar Tree I ever visited, the staff is very helpful and friendly. The only issue I have with the Dollar Tree is, every time I go, I come out with so much more than what's on my list. When they ask me if I found everything okay, I always reply, "yes, too good, lol".

While employees are nice, there are NEVER enough cashiers. Every time I visit, no matter the time of day, there is only one cashier. Wait times to checkout are ridiculous. Also many items are usually out of stock and I more often than not have to drive to Olympia/Tumwater/Lacey locations to get the items I need.

Love to go for greeting cards and always find other awesome little finds for a small gift to have on hand. They had coconut oil one day what a bargain. Love to see that parents can take a child and they don't feel like they are breaking the budget while the child has choices. Great Store !!

Need to have more cashiers especially during peak periods. Need to have happier employees they are nice but seem not very happy. Including the Manager it starts with them. They have a great selection of products.

I like the selection and deals, but the cashiers need more training. The last 3 times I went in, I spent more than 15 minutes in line.Tonight cashier KC opened a register to help the line and took only the person BEHIND me. Then left. Then after waiting 10 more minutes behind a lady writing a check, KC came back and took ONLY the last person in line behind me again. Are you kidding me?!!! I asked if I could go next since I'd been waiting longer than anyone else in line and her response was "Ummmmmmmmm" then started ringing up the last guy in line anyway.Is there no such thing as GOOD customer service anymore?!

This dollar store is ok. They usually have a decent amount of crafting supplies for how small the store is. And it is small. I prefer other, more spacious stores because they have a larger selection, but this ones good enough

I LOVE this store... I Love doing crafts and this store has great stuff.. If you went to a craft store you would be paying a lot for the idems. Here every thing is a dollar every time no price changes when the season changes. Well after each holiday the stuff is half price for that holiday. But for normal idems sold year round it's always a dollar.

We got to the Dollar Tree at 8:52p.m. There wasn't any cars in the lot. APPARENTLY, even though the sign says they close at 9, the employees can close anytime they feel like it. Cell phone clocks are synced to the atomic clock in Denver on the West side of the country. Timex wristwatches ARE NOT!!

This place is filthy. One cashier with a line back into the store. People mask shaming other customers. Will NEVER go here again and will tell everyone to stay away. Need a tetanus shot after just walking into this place.

The staff is friendly, and there are a bunch of fun things to buy here!Sometimes things get moved and you need to do a bit of searching, but I usually always have help when I ask!Also there is a bathroom available here for customers.

The parking lot is compact in this strip mall so be ⚠️ alert as Fauk...lol the store is clean and well stocked considering the flow of consumers
