We went for mobile vet service. Had a appt but still waited 45 minutes. If we were legally allowed to give our own pets rabies shots we would. All the people were there for the same thing so it's really a shame we can't do it ourselves like we do the rest of their shots.The folks were nice enough but need to space appt times further apart if they can't keep up.

I was able to find everything I needed for my dogs and birds. The store is clean, well-organized, and the staff is friendly.

Honestly, the Vital Care Premier is the best rewards program I've been a part of. 10% off food + free bag every 8 bought, $15 in rewards per pup (account) per month, and discounts on grooming and $20 in credits for vet services performed outside of Petco vets. And the employees at this location are nice and helpful.

Typical petco.. Smallest one i've ever been to, but it is a small town. Definitely the most Unorganized Petco, I've been to pilots of merchandise just sitting in the aisle's. they are out of stock of quite a bit. Merchandise merchandise. I walked around the store aimlessly looking for an employee. Because I needed some help but could not find any. There was one employee in the grooming department. There was another employee teaching a class. There was an employee that was at the cash register. One minute was a line of people and then they were gone lol. I eventually got frustrated and left and drove all the way to Port Angeles to go to tractor supply. Either way, it's petco I would probably definitely recommend calling and making sure they have what you're looking for in stock before even going..

When etco has a corporation decided a couple years ago that you were only going to carry healthy Pet foods, I believed that you actually were making a commitment to the health of our pets. But recently you decided to add back all of the junk foods and garbage brands that you carried previously. I sent a request for comment to your corporate offices, and your corporation failed to respond. So I don't trust your company like I used to. Now you're just another pet food supplier, marketing to the masses. You've lost my respect.

Fish tanks dirty, cloudy. Tarantulas improperly housed on wood chips. All live feeder insects were full of dead, or all dead insects. Very poorly managed.

Carries a wide variety of items for our furry friends but plan on paying a little more here verses walmart. My less than perfect rating is because the item I was looking for was out of stock. In fact, almost the entire section was completely wiped out. I have 20+ years in retail management and this tells me that they are not completing their inventory counts correctly. Most modern retailers have an automatic ordering system and it is critical to maintain accurate counts. If the system thinks there is 4 on hand yet the shelf is empty, it will not order more thus shelves remain empty. Other local stores are not out of this product so can't blame it on Shipping issues or warehouse issues. Besides this, the store is clean, plenty of front door parking and staff is friendly and helpful.

This review is specifically for the fish care / aquatic plants. I am a bit of a hobbyist aquarist with multiple tanks, all planted. I came into the store for the first time and was in all honesty deeply saddened by how they treat their betta fish.I'm an Oregon transplant who was spoiled by my last Petco, where they had numerous beautiful plants and a very devoted employee who watched over their bettas.A lot of betta fish were dead and decomposing / visibly on their last legs in their cups, and their feeder goldfish tank had dead fish littering the floor. I went for plants and found all of their plants in their planted tank to pretty much be dead or looking terrible.Even their tubed aquarium plants were mostly kept in the dark, which (of course) killed most of the plants.The rest of the store looked clean and cared for, and I had no other issues. But, the live plants and how they treat their betta fish is ROUGH.The treatment of the fish varies a lot based on locations, and this is probably one of the worse Petcos in terms of fish care that I've been to on the West Coast. I blame corporate for not instituting bigger cup sizes / better conditions for the fish, and not the employees who are doing their best to care for fish that are not given the proper conditions to thrive in the first place.I won't be returning in the future.

Hot dog biscuits here. Have little brown bugs all over in it. Since it was passer return policy, they wouldn't do anything about it. So if you don't want bugs sitting in a dog container on your counter I wouldn't shop here. Bad customer service

Buying things for our new cat-to-be, the team here was so lovely. Morgan was super helpful, and the long haired gal working with her was amazing as well, both super nice and care about customers and pets. Best experience I’ve had at a pet store in a long time!

Not only was I able to return an item that didn't fit my cat, you folks offered a more appropriate item that seemed to resolve my problem, the item was also on clearance! This is true service, especially in today's lack of customer service. I did not feel like the victim that had to "fix" the issue myself by going online and jumping thru hoops. Love you guys! Kathy

Brought my 18 month old poodle to Petco to pick out doggy biscuits like my dogs in the past have done. She was a little scared of the sliding doors but otherwise enjoyed the visit. We will be back, I love watching the dogs pick out biscuits and doggy toys.

The staff was helpful, the one staff member I saw in the whole store. It took 10 minutes for her to check us out, which is NOT her fault. Whoever is running that place needs more staff in there. I felt bad for my checker.

Our Family loves Petco! If your interested in buying a pet there they have so much information! When were looking into buying fish that could go with our betta, they had so much information it was crazy! When we were building a new habitat for our hamster they had so much information, when we were looking for a new fish tank they had so much advice, it's just an amazing pet store, we literally spend a great deal of time there when making any decisions for our pet family members 😀. We always want to make sure we are making good choices for them. The employees are educated and fun, and very nice and helpful. Couldn't ask for more in a pet store!

If I have a question, it's not always easy to find someone. However, I have spoken to many MANY associates there and not only were they friendly but offered excellent advice and were compassionate when I explained an injury my cat received and what I was doing to help him. I looked around and thought the variety of product for each section was good. I did find prices to be on the high side but I also realize that specialty stores tend to be that way. I really liked the cat trees for example but I am looking for a taller cat tree. I bought a few items and will shop at Petco in the future.
