I am completely impressed by this veterinarian clinic. The staff is awesome in every sense. I had been to a different clinic before going here and they had told me it was a bee sting or bug bite causing the wound that wouldn’t heal on my Pepper. This veterinarian knew right away what it was and what to do about it. It was a tumor that had to be removed. They were able to get Pepper in for surgery in a reasonable timeframe. They took excellent care of her and updated her shots. Her surgery is healing very well. They are wonderful answering questions and addressing your concerns. I will be going to this veterinarian from now on. They don’t play games and care for your fur baby and they don’t beat around the bush. Very highly recommend this clinic.

Terrible experience. The front office staff was nice. The vet was not. I’ve never not had a vet try to get on my dogs level. Especially starting with vaccines?yeah let’s make them more anxious 🙄She didn’t even pet him once. Never tried. Walked in went straight to the table and started asking me questions. No sweet voice. Stern angry voice the whole time. Proceeded to yell my dogs name at him and throw treats at him. Maybe try a kind approach, her demeanor was horrible. We really needed to stick it out but there was red flag after red flag. And I was wrong for comforting my dog when some angry lady with a mask on was only intimidating him more? i guess it’s a cat only vet? Clearly very inexperienced with dogs.

Dr. Rowan is a wonderful person and a great caring veterinarian. We have had her for about 15 years, but now, I guess she must have retired because you can't get your dog in there within 2 weeks. Whoever took it over is ruining this fine establishment that she started and it's very sad. I recommend Yakima Valley Veterinarian Clinic on 40th.

Dr. Rowan has been my vet for 7 years. She has seen litters of my dog's puppies and has taken care of all my rescue cats and has done farm visits for my goats. She is amazing at her job. She tells you like it is and does not beat around the bush. She is professional and has always been available to help me when I've needed help. I am lucky to have had her.

We take our lab and tabby to this vet and have for years, they care so much about both of them and make sure to explain everything when they have procedures. They are always friendly and caring, and they have the best prices I've seen in this area!! If you want a vet that has your fur babies health and comfort at the top of their priorities this is the vet for you!!

All personnel there were great. My cat went from this mellow cat to a bobcat in seconds. The vets assistants took control with TLC with both me and Idget my cat. He had a bowel blockage. The assistants and the vet did a great job. Even set me up with an appointment if I needed to bring Idget back in for an emergency. Thanks for your excellent help.

The front office staff is Kind. Otherwise I would not recommend this vet. I took my animals to them regularly. Never had any issues until I needed to have my dog fixed. Scheduled the appointment weeks in advance, Took time off work to drop her off, A couple hours later they called me and told me they couldn't do the procedure. They said my dog was too heavy. Keep in mind this was my dogs regular vet and was down 15lbs from her previous visit.. I went in to pick up my dog and then was surprised with a bill! They made me pay for part of the service even though they failed to perform the service!

I took my cat in to get her first shots and checkup at around 7/8 months (I was financially unable to beforehand) and the Dr was so rude about it! Her remarks sounded snarky and judgmental. I took her in so I could get her up to date on vaccinations and spat her as soon as possible but decided not to go back with how rude she was. Other than that, we waited at least 15 minutes for the dr to even show up! The only reason this has more than 1 star is because the receptionist was very nice and we came in and got what we needed.

I would not go back here for anything, ever. I had to put my cat to sleep and I was told they would put me in the very back room so I could stay with her. Not only was I treated very bad when I was told what would happen after they gave her the shot to calm her way down, which it did not do that. My cat was trying to jump off the exam table and she got very sick. Then trying to find a good spot to give her the shot was terrible she was very sick and was dehydrated so bad. They finally were able to give her the shot, I was happy I was able to hold her after fighting with the Dr?? Anyways not even 10 mins later they came back and said I had to go?? I asked for a few more mins and the Dr looked at me and said no, I should have been a better Parent to my cat???? I tried to pay what I was told but then was told it was the wrong price?? It was the worst time ever.

Quality vet services. Great that the vet and her staff are familiar with my geriatric feline. I dashed in for special diet food just as the office was closing and register was closed. I explained my cat stopped eating other food day before and I was in urgent need of food he was most likely to eat. Staff reopened the register. I was relieved. Thanks for the support! And my cat enjoyed his special food!

would not recommend this place. our family dog was neutered here and his area swelled up to the size of a soft ball, in way too much pain and kept bleeding. i’ve had dogs neutered before and if was nothing like this. he will not eat, sleep, or go to the bathroom or even walk. he has to lay on his back with his legs open just to be comfortable. so sad to see him like this.

I have always had excellent service when going to Animal Medical Center. I absolutely love the fact that, even though it's a mid sized clinic, you get the "small business" treatment and care.When you walk in, expect not only to be welcomed by the staff, but by two adorable cats! Dartanian and Artemis are the sweetest, and possibly laziest cats I've ever met. When they aren't napping, they waltz in and out of the rooms, greeting and checking on the "patients." I have yet to see anyone who meets them not immediately fall in love with them.Dr. Rowan is an awesome vet - I call her all of the time with crazy questions and she and the staff are very good at keeping me well informed. They are very good about following up and keeping good notes regarding past visits as well!My Australian shepherd has had numerous trips to the vet; he plays very hard. He also has allergies which, thanks to Dr. Rowan and staff, we have been able to narrow down pretty well over the last year. She and her staff advised me of the different allergy tests available, and the steps I could take to narrow down some variables before resorting to the allergy tests. They were very supportive and let me make all of the decisions. I was also very happy that Dr. Rowan didn't consider cortisone treatments to be a permanent solution for my dog's allergies; some vets do. She targets and treats the problem instead of just masking it with medication.I have never been surprised by a bill; they always tell me up front what the cost of something will be prior to the treatment.They have good prices for visits, vaccinations and treatments, which is hard to find these days!Animal Medical Center genuinely cares about the health and well being of my animals, and that means a LOT to me. I highly recommend them!

I had to have my dog daughter put to sleep and they were so kind to me. The vet tech needs to work on so.e things, but the vet was super kind because I was pretty upset about losing my dog. Their service is so good. Other than the rachety tech.

Absolutely HEARTBROKEN with how they have treated our cat. We brought him in to have kitty caps put on as an alternative to declawing, and they not only put them on crooked, GLUED TWO OF HIS TOES TOGETHER, but they caused his nail beds to become inflamed and infected. When we brought him back in to get this situation corrected, they blamed us, told us that maybe we should've gotten him declawed and charged us for an antibiotic shot and pain medicine for his discomfort. We used to really enjoy taking all our animals to this vet office, but can't in good conscience allow others to make the same mistake as we did. They have multiple new technicians, so maybe the issue will be resolved over time. Please think twice, there are several other affordable places to take your animal locally.

I love Dr.Rowan Never Judge a person only God can do that some people have bad days so they will say negative things they try hard and they are very busy next time hopefully you take some coffee and wait patiently and remember to always smile:). They set me up an appointment just to tell me that dog is completely healthy for a surgery they were supposedly to conduct; and then call me 3 business days later (ONE DAY BEFORE SURGERY) to tell me BOTH doctors where not comfortable performing the surgery !!!!! Such a shame that they are not professionals . DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!

I HATE this vet. I don't think I've EVER gone in there and they were actually nice. Not only are they not "professional" but they must of got an "F" on their test scores for vet care. They don't ask you if you want to do something they just do it an expect you to pay. For example. I took my puppy German Shepherd in for her shots. They recommended I deworm her as protacal even though they didn't find worms. Then they did it and charged me for it when I hadnt even told them to! The big one was I took my adult German Shepherd in (Delgado - i hope they look me and my dog up from this review) and told me he had ALLERGIES! They made me pay for a office visit. All they did was check his weight. They didnt check his eyes, his temperature, his nose... OR ANYTHING I was like I could of weighed him at another vet for freee!! Then I give him these meds and followed their directions. It didn't work. Took him in to another vet (the AMAZING one on mcgonagal) and they diagnosed him with EPI which was VERY serious and could of killed him. Hes still recovering but at least hes on the the right meds this time. They are poor quality and I don't know how they are still standing. They are rude in the front and in the back. They are just lucky they are in a convenient location cause then no one would go to them. If tehy fired everyone and restaffed this place I may go back if they were smart and nice. Heck if they were just rude but KNEW what they were doing then it would be WORTH dealing with their attitude.

I love this clinic the dr.is excellent with my sharpie who weighs 69 bs his name is Boobus and she explains everything and she is totally awesome and she orders his food every month and since being on the rx food we have had no problems with his urinary tract she vaccinated him yearly and her staff is always fri r ndly and helpful she is awesome and so is the staff if there we 10 stars I would give. It there is five but they deserve ten10 Stars ty and keep up the awesome job you gals..myndee & Boobus!2

This is My dog Boobus"s vet Dr. Lynn and her staff is so great they have cared for my dogs needs for most of his life the past 8 yrs its the only vet I will take him too and he is a ham d ful at the vet but Dr. Lynn cares for him just the same she sees us as a walk in or by appt. Th Dr. Lynn and staff you are the best don't know what I would do without you to care for boobus and all he needs th so much we love you !
