YES, PLEASE šOne of my favorite stops while visiting Pike Place. So many options to top a simple yet delicious crumpet š We had a sweet and a savory crumpet. One with strawberry š preserves and cream cheese ! Then a pesto and egg crumpet! It was a great choice to get a sweet and savory crumpet so you can have a good balanced breakfast or snack anytime of the day! They are very busy and can have long lines to order. Definitely not the place if you are in a hurry. Well worth the wait if you are visiting ššPeep š the photos for tasty looking food

Definitely a unique experience and screams Seattle. The food was tasty and satisfyingā I ordered two crumpets; one savory and one sweet. The staff are nice and do a good job of handling the crowd. This place is near Pike Place Market; therefore, itās filled with tourist. The biggest drawback is the spaceāthey are unable to accommodate the large volume of patrons due to limited seating. We lucked up and seating became available for us. This is something to consider if you plan on dining in. Overall, I do recommend this place and plan to come back.

The Crumpet Shop is a wondeful spot for crumpets and tea. All the crumpets I had here were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. This spot is self-service. You order, get napkins, forks, etc then find a seat if you plan to dine in. The cashiers were very patient with me and I really appreciated their recommendations and explanations.Atmosphere is of a small close quarter cafe/diner feeling. The walkways are pretty tight where only one average sized person can fit at a time.Overall, I would come back! It had good service, crispy crumpets, and a wide variety of toppings.

Iāve been here multiple times but never put my review in. Itās a well kept secret of Pike Place Market. What we got - Salmon cream cheese crumpetWhat weāll take away - Itās always amazing. The crumpet was freshly made and the salmon cream cheese was delicious. The walnut honey one is my favorite (from previous visits)

Want sure how I'd like these but they are sooo good. They are a very basic food but you can add things to make them more sweet or savoury or whatever but for me the original buttery one was so good. Some people compare it to being a pancake+biscuit which is quite accurate. It tasted a bit like an arepa just not a crunchy nor corn flavor. It was fluffy on top and crisp on the bottom. There was so much warm buttery butter in it that every bite was just delicious. I recommend this spot especially if it is your first time having crumpets! $3.25 for one which is a bit pricey, but yeah it's good.

I've been visiting Seattle for years and just never managed to make it into The Crumpet Shop until this most recent trip. I was worried the crumpets might be dense and heavy, especially since we had had a small breakfast already, but they were so light and delicous. The lemon ricotta wasn't very sweet (the highest compliment I can give any sweet), and the salmon was delicious.Definitely one of my go-to stops now when I'm in the area. We went right when they opened and basically walked right up without a wait, but the line started forming before we even got out order a few minutes later. Super friendly staff, though, and the atmosphere was nice and felt like an old small local business.

Service staff was super friendly and food was excellent. It's a very quaint atmosphere but also, is a small space so be prepared to take your meal to go as it can get very busy here. This shop is located on the street level of 1st Ave but is accessible from the stair case leading up from the lower levels. I would absolutely eat here again!Parking: Walk here, don't drive. If you do drive be prepared to park in a garage and walk.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm sure you can get a wheelchair in here but I wouldn't bank on it.

This little gem is an iconic shop located on 1st Ave right at the main entrance of the Pike Place Market.I had a hard time finding quick in- and-out parking, but I called ahead, and they kindly set aside six pack of fresh crumpets for me.It used to be that the crumpets would be sold out in the first few hours of their day, and they also weren't open on Sundays. I can happily say that is no longer the case!! I hadn't been here in about twenty years, but I'm so glad to have made the effort. Their crumpets are so delicious and are an amazing vehicle for butter and homemade jam or honey.Parking: Depending on the time of day, you may have to search a bit, but this area is one of the main tourist spots in the US, if not the world, so that is to be expected.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an entrance at the back of the shop that is wheelchair accessible.

Several books I've read have referenced "Tea & Crumpets", but I'd never had one...until now! Generally speaking, I have a very selective/picky palate, but these tasted great! I had one with just butter and one with strawberry preserves. Both were excellent! It's right outside of Pike Place Market, so make sure you time your visit there with when the Crumpet Shop is open so you don't miss it!

I used to go here a lot when I worked in the area but moved away so I haven't been since before the pandemic. I was disappointed that they took the orange marmalade off the menu. It was my favorite. Also their tea selection has decreased quite a bit. I remember there being many options of self serve tea, including yerba mate. Maybe it was the time of day I went but there were only 3 black teas: Earl grey, Irish breakfast, and a house blend with Darjeeling. Still good crumpets and I'll definitely try it again when I'm in the area, maybe earlier in the day though.

I loved going to a new place for breakfast that wasn't a chain. Very busy so we took our food to go. We both had savory crumpets, which were okay. Next time, I will try the sweet crumpets. Was very impressed with the patience of the cashier when a woman was not impressed that the order here was moved closer to the front of the store. He definitely liked her with kindness.

August 2023:I have always been fascinated with how the British eat crumpets and tea ā. Stopped by this shop and tried a crumpet with butter.Everything is made fresh in store. We waited about five to ten minutes for our order. When it came out, it was toasted perfectly with a generous amount of butter.Overall, was really delicious š. Will definitely come back again for more crumpets.

This place does crumpets amazingly well - what more is there to say! Theyāre cooked fresh right in front of you and have a good choice of toppings - traditional (butter, marmite or jam) or more āexoticā (salmon cream cheese and green eggs).Service is very friendly and although itās quite a small place thereās a good amount of seating. Recommended.

My very first crumpet experience and loved it. This gem is right near the pike place market and a very busy one. The line moved pretty quickly around noon and the crumpets were just delicious. The pesto, tomato and cheese is a must try. Thereāre few seats inside and 2-3 tables outside for dine-in. Would love to try some sweet crumpets next time!

Delicious! Worth a quick stop in bustling public Market area. Visited a few times to try different crumpet options. Perfect for small snack. The crumpet is fresh and airy/light with the bottom edge a bit crispy (takes time to cut with plastic knife). Tried pesto with tomato /parmesan cheese and ham/egg with cheese. Ingredients were fresh, which packed a lot in each bit. There are a lot of options, but I went with savory instead of sweet. If you're very hungry would get more than one to fill you up.For drink really enjoyed refreshing lemonade. You can sit inside or outside (few tables and low bar). Staff is super friendly!** Note the prices have increased . Tried 2 additional - maple butter and pesto/ricotta/tomato, really liked them!

Another great choice for breakfast at the Pike Place Market area. We made sure to stop by this place before leaving Seattle and I'm so glad we did. Each of the items were fresh and had good flavor. The line to order is always long so be patient and it is worth the wait. Seating is also tight at this location so please plan accordingly. The ambience of the place is good as well. I would definitely recommend this place...

Can get really crowded and thereās not many seats around. Best to take away and head to the market area and find a table there. The crumpets are really good and no matter if you order a savory or a sweet one, they are all pretty good. Freshly made then toasted and a huge amount of butter is slapped on before they put anything on it. Canāt go wrong with that.

Family owned since 1976, this mouth-watering crumpets, scone, tea, and coffee shop is a must do in Seattle. The smoked salmon was creamy and the combo with the crunchy cucumber was incredible. The crumpets were fresh and perfectly cooked and you can watch them cook while you stand in line. The Lifechanger - cream cheese, creamy maple butter, and finely crumbled walnuts is truly a life changer! Don't pass on the buttermilk scone, especially with the lemon curd...mmm... Although their house blend is excellent, I challenge you to find a better Earl Grey!
