Nice place to get pet items. The big reason is their dog training. The nice lady( I'm sorry no good with names ) that is the trainer is amazing. First class and my pup sit ,layed down and made serious progress in potty training. One of the better choices we have made. If you have a crazy pup this is the place to go for training, as long as you put in the effort also. A few items out of stock and some things a bit pricey , but anymore what isn't. Still a great experience and staff.

Coal did a fantastic job with my boys… they look so adorable! There was a tiny little cut from the grooming process but they were so great and accommodating to make sure Pi was OK. They are dogs that don’t like to sit still and the groomers have sharp tools! It happens and I know my boy wasn’t making it easy for them! Nonetheless they looked fabulous and I recommend them with high regard.

Love this place my fur lady makes us go here whenever she gets a chance and they are very familiar with her here they make sure she gets her treat every time and just about everyone who works here knows her by name it's nice to still get a homely feeling from your local stores or shops in such a busy city area with so much going on around it all the time. You don't get that much because most stores are too busy trying to keep from being cleaned out by small and often occuring thefts and then they are always on lookout for another situation with some crazy person making a scene so it's nice when you can still get a little bit of the small town feel in the big old city

Any store I walk into with animals this neglected is definitely a no for me. This was not the only fish tank with dead fish at the bottom.. There are better local businesses where you can find more healthy high quality fish that are not a chain business like this one. Do not buy fish here.

Met two unfriendly and bureaucratic employees who are choking the adoption programWe were fortunate enough to meet and adopt our first cat from here two years ago. The experience was smooth and the staff were very friendly and supportive. I still remember the nice brochure of coupons that allowed us to buy all the necessary goods for our cat. That is why I give 2 stars instead of 1.However, the visit we paid last weekend was a totally different story. When we dropped by the adoption corner, we were greeted with no one and an empty desk with nothing.After waiting for a couple of minutes, we had to walk around the whole store to find an employee to talk to. She seemed uncomfortable speaking to us. We asked about interacting with the animals there, she mumbled something like “you need to fill a form and wait for two to three days”. She also talked to the mic about printing forms, so I thought someone will do something about it. After waiting there for another couple of minutes, nothing happened.We approached her again, she seemed even more uncomfortable. She didn’t greet us at all throughout our interactions. She talked to the mic again. This time she made it clear that someone would meet us there. It led to a couple more minutes of waiting. A gentleman approached us and threw us a three-page form and emphasize that “one person at a time” and only after filling the adoption application form due to Covid and left. I understand “one person at a time”, but only allowing us to interact with animals after filling the form is clearly bluffing. This is NOT how you get pets adopted.I saw those cuties who looked helpless yet still embracing hope locked there, not knowing how the employees were preventing them from getting adopted. My heart breaks.

I took my 11 year old Shih Tzu here this past weekend, and my worst fear happened. They injured my dog and i had to take her to the vet for several stitches.I came to the store at 8:50 for our 9:00 appointment. The grooming doors were still closed and I was told that the stylists were not there yet. It's 9:05 and only then does the first stylist of the day come in. They let me into the grooming room, and we have to wait an additional 5 minutes for their system to start up. Unprofessional from the start. Stylists don't even care enough to show up on time, so this shows you their level of care for their jobs.Our dog had the usual amount of matting in the common areas (around the armpit, belly, tail). But when I got a call only an hour after dropping of my dog, my heart sank. They told me to pick her up. When I came in, they told me that she got cut under the armpit, and they needed to stop grooming midway.The stylist didn't act apologetic. In fact, their tone made it seem like it wasn't that huge of a deal, and that the cut was minimal. They barely showed it to me, either, so I couldn't get a proper look at it until I got home. I assumed it was just a small cut that wasn't too deep, so it being Sunday, I waited to get into our regular vet on a weekday.Then we finally get into the vet. $500 dollar bill, several stitches, and antibiotic medication later, I know I will never take my dog to PetSmart for grooming ever again. The money I spent at the vet is a huge burden, but I feel most bad for my dog. Pet owners know that feeling. I felt absolutely guilty and responsible for taking her to such a place that clearly had no regard for her well-being.If you truly care about you pet's safety, or just want to avoid the potential cost of $500 vet bills, please take your dogs elsewhere.

Have had quite a few good experiences here. The staff members go above and beyond which is really cool. They have a great selection of cat toys/items. They really helped me with adopting my kitty and during a delivery they went above and beyond when Doordash messed up. I had covid and they made sure I didn't have to leave my house.

I buy fish. I buy random fish from here. The reason being is they usually have no idea what they actually have for sale with fish. So if you want mystery fish this is the place. My latest example is I got a golden nugget pleco that was sold as a bristle nose pleco for under 10 bucks. The one I got lists for 50 or more on eBay depending on size.

Love petsmart love there prices , but they don't carry a wide variety of pets no rats ,no bunnies, no ferrets the bird selection consist of parakeets there hamsters are the small dwarfs that bite . but tons of fish from plain goldfish to exquisite glow fish lol....

This review is about online ordering and PetSmart.PetSmart has the best selection of wild bird food at better than average prices. I've used same day delivery, and on my recent order, I picked it up at the store on Aurora. If I can ever plan ahead, they also offer shipping where I get 35% off my1st order. Maybe someday!For years, I have had monthly deliveries from an online pet food store. The problem was the unbelievable HEAVY boxes they sent out. I have chronic back problems and wouldn't wish that on anyone. These horrible heavy boxes are handled by other humans along the way to my house. Even if one person benefits from not carrying my 75-100# box...PetSmart is the best place to find a large selection of wild bird food at fair prices. Ordering online is a breeze. Also, they offer reward points (Treats), which can be redeemed for money off purchases. I also receive money back at Rakuten.All of the above looks like 5+ stars to me!

I buy all my frog, Pancake’s crickets 🦗 here. Thanks Elizabeth! More lively and longer lasting than other places I’ve noticed. At least until they meet Pancake, he woofs them down.The associates are all nice and very helpful. Would even take my dog and cat here on occasion. They seemed to like it too.The groomers department are getting a shout out too. You all nail Basil’s style each time.Thanks!

So glad they have a kitty groomer/ stylist at this location. We took our Ruby in and Rio did a great job with her. Her coat looks amazing and she was trimmed exactly how we wanted. Ruby was also amazingly calm after her appointment and even took a nap on the car ride home. Super friendly staff and prices are fair. We'll definitely be bringing Ruby back.

I was very happy with PetSmart groomers. I had been doing my own grooming for many years. But getting too old and PetSmart is so close to us I thought I would give them a try. I am very happy with the results and I will be going back. AND the fees are very reasonable!!!!! This is his very short summer cut. By winter time his hair will grow back and get a more traditional schnauzer cut.

My cousin got her first cat and being a first cat owner, brought the cat in from the car (it's a hot day) and the cat got loose and went under some stacks of litter box, the employees, the cat groomer and the cat expert there was really helpful in helping us get the cat back and giving my cousin some helpful tips!

I have been going to downtown dog lounge for grooming since I got my bernedoodle puppy and every time they had almost shaved my dog when I always ask for the teddy bear cut. This is the first time I visited the petsmart and they took best care of my bernedoodle and the haircut was exactly what I was looking for. They also were flexible enough to take my dog post his appointment time, obviously I informed them couple of hours before the appointment. Excellent service :)

The grooming salon employees are pretty great! Our skiddish chihuahua mix requires 2 people for a nail grinding. The ladies there are kind and gentle with our pup. We've only had one bad experience with one salon girl that was resolved immediately by the salon manager. Before bringing our chihuahua we brought our min pin to this salon for nearly 10 years.

Expensive! You'd be better off shopping at Mud Bay whose prices are half the amount as PetSmart, or online. The training classes are awesome! We did the puppy package and even as experienced dog owners, we learned a ton and it was a great help. Otherwise, It's just another pet store. They have everything you'd need for most any pet.

The staff have been decent. Super friendly, just not that great at customer service. They always seem like they have something better to do than to help a customer. I thought that was the most important thing about jobs like this, the customer? Idk maybe things have changed ? They also charged me full price for a cat bed when it was on sale. Didn't realize this until I got home.

I was just disappointed that they didn't have any dog training clickers. Although, I guess it's not totally their fault, since I was told by two different employees that their training clickers, keep getting stolen. If that is the case, then my suggestion is to put the clickers into the locked cases that you have with the special electronic items, citronella sprays and collars, so that you would not have to worry about them being stolen anymore, AND so people, like myself, won't end up wasting a trip to PetSmart. Other than that, store was nice and tidy, and products were well faced, friendly service.

Customer service here is great. We came to exchange a batch of cat food with no receipt, and we only wanted to exchange IN CASE they were part of the reason our cat was feeling sick. Paul at the till was IMMEDIATELY: "we'll take care of you, don't worry". No fuss, only understanding from one pet parent to another. We were so touched and relieved. This location in particular, won our loyalty.
