Place is pretty solid. The staff is always kind and friendly and the store usually has all products stocked. My only suggestion would be to clean out those fish tanks more often. Poor little guppie must of been chilling there for a while. rest in peace legend!

Nick on 205th is amazing. Every time I explain how I would like my dog’s haircut, I pick my dog up Bohdi and it’s exactly what I pictured. I wouldn’t go anywhere else because of Nik. Thanks!

I tried to get treats for my cats on Thursday and tried to pay in cash with a $20 from 1993. The cashier would not take it because they could not confirm it was real or not. I tried using my card, but found out I didn't have enough in my bank account to cover my purchase. So my friend had to pay for my things. It was embarrassing.The $20 was real, it was just from 1993. I understand they were trying to do their job, but my legal tender was denied.

I recently had a wonderful experience at the Shoreline location after being referred by a friend that groomers were back in town. I had heard the grooming salon was closed down for a while and was excited to schedule there again, as its such a convenient location for where I live. The new staff is kind and very professional, and I’m glad I paid them a visit. I had to warn them that I had been referred out from another location because the staff there wasn’t as well equipped as Shoreline, but they took care of everything no problem! Thank you all for such a great visit, and I will be sure to send anyone I know to Shoreline for any grooming needs.

Always love to come to this location, the lady dog trainer is wonderfully knowledgeable. The older bald gentleman has some serious knowledge about reptiles. And the guy with blue hair was soo happy yo answer my questions about hamsters!

Great store and the staff is great. But this review is specifically for their current Grooming Department. We had been taking our 2 dogs here for almost 4 years and have always had an amazing experience. After every visit we had been told our dogs did great. This location's grooming shut down for some time, maybe 6 months. Now that they have all new groomers, we thought it'd be great to set them up an appointment. Just now, the night before their appointment, their text message alerts Cancelled their appointments and to Reschedule. So I called in, and was told that our dogs had been "REFERRED OUT" apparently meaning that there had been numerous complaints about our dogs from their past team of groomers?! Dude on the phone was vague and cold. This was news to us since I booked in person several weeks ago, and has me very very confused. I'm very disappointed in how this was communicated, now or in the past if such incidents actually occurred, and concerned about the way their current model is managed. Please clarify.

You have what I need, I am greeted at the door with a "welcome" but not hounded (LOL) and then I needed help with fish. You did not have what I needed but the gentleman suggested something else or he could order it for me...I purchased his suggestion and it was right on when I got it home....Check out was GREAT and the lady was super friendly. So easy. I found what I wanted and didn’t have to have it delivered because the last 3 times I have gone in to purchase the canine toothpaste it has been out. Very friendly workers. Check out went quickly. Overall this time it was an A+ experience.

Kaitlin in grooming is fantastic! My high energy, almost 2 year old Labrador loves her and she does an amazing job getting her cleaned up! Nails, teeth, ears…it’s all perfect and my dog gets excited whenever we go back.

After all grooming staff quit at this location I booked an appointment with the newly hired groomers. My dog had been groomed by Kaitlyn for years. He has been to 5-6 different groomers and has always done very well. My dog had a bath which went well. When they tried to groom him he was scared to death of them. They eventually called me stating they couldn’t groom my dog because they were afraid he would choke himself to death jumping off the table. I rebooked at a different Petco location. There were no problems at this groomer and they said my dog was an angel when I picked him up. I would not groom my dog at the Shoreline Petco.

Killian who works at the grooming part of this location is awesome! Grooming can be pretty overwhelming, especially since my dog is still under a year old. Every single time I get Theodore back he's as calm, clean and happy as ever. He's groomed perfectly in his teddy bear cut and is absolutely adorable.

I am a Petco fan for life. Our senior dog had a minor medical emergency during grooming and Petco handled the situation so professionally. The team went above and beyond--personally bringing her to a vet to ensure she was ok AND taking care of all charges. Here's to the amazing staff and to Petco corporate for investing in their customers at a level that is rarely seen at big corporations these days. Bravo!!!

This is strictly for the grooming center. We previously had a great experience with the Dog Grooming center and the stylist Bella, and decided to bring my dog back here. The stylist we had was not very friendly upon drop off, but that’s not a deal breaker. When I picked my dog up, I asked how he was and received very short responses, as if the stylist was just trying to get me out of there. She wordlessly handed me my receipt, and seemed annoyed when I asked if I needed to pay at the front.After I got my dog home, I noticed his ears were not cleaned, which is part of the package I paid for. While he previously was excited after coming home from his first groom, he seemed really down for the rest of the day after this one. I submitted these concerns and feedback via the survey sent to you after the grooming appointment, and was sent back a pretty non-concerned answer. We will not be returning to this grooming center, I urge everyone to pay a little more to take their pet somewhere else.
