Good source for variety of pet foods. The toy section needs improvement with more toys that can stimulate pets brain. The place, however, has a very bad door. It is pretty old and usually broken. It was very hard for me to enter and exit the place last time I was there. I hope the store owner sees this and try to get a new door! The place deserve a better entrance door.

My dog two paws were injured from the grooming and it horribly swollen and woozing. I can’t believe they had me tip them before I can see the dog. Anyway it was really hard to get available vet in this area. I’m so sad . Never coming back

The manager is always so courteous and polite. I love my neighborhood Petco and I love the Amazon return feature now , very helpful for disabled people .

If your dog gets cancer and passes away don't expect to be able to return an unopened repeat delivery bag of food if you're just over 30 days. All he did was offer me another bag of food in exchange- after I just said my dog had passed. Yet they will let you return opened bags of food if your dog doesn't like them but can't make an exception for this? Really awful customer service.

I love when managers/buyers don’t properly stock a store and then blame the customers. When the excuse is that dog owners spend more money, but the dog shelves are fully stocked while the cat section is half or more empty, it’s a sign that you’re failing at your job.How would I or any other cat owner spend more money at Petco? You were out of the kitty litter I use, and my backup brand as well. You were out of 1/3 of the cat food flavors I was trying to buy. You either don’t carry or were out of the larger packages of cat treats I use. I bought one of the few remaining Halloween-themed cat toys on a mostly empty display while the dog toys are fully stocked. I don’t even remember if you had a single cat grass. I’ve had to cancel most of my autoship orders because they were constantly going out of stock.What a waste of my time.

Downtrodden, but isn't that the case with all PetCo's? I go here for dog food, they have the best prices for the major brands. Most of what they sell is from the major manufacturers. If you want some of that super hippie food that costs 4x the price of normal 'premium', you'll have to go to a higher end store like mud bay or all the best.

Staffing levels are always too low to support the services you offer. You never have enough groomers and often turn away walk in clients. So frustrating. I don't even bother going anymore, just shop local and find another place for grooming.

The stuff you need for your pets, food, toys, beds, and everything else are good quality, and good prices. I get my dog groomed there, and I have used the vetco clinic once. The groomers, and the vet are good at their jobs and very friendly. They make me ( a nervous dog owner) feel relaxed and that my dog is in good hands.

Horrible service. They did not ever mention or disclaim that they cannot take pets who have been medicated. My vet literally prescribed medication for anxiety for grooming. When mentioning this to be transparent I was then told they could not take my pet without ever indicating this anywhere before service. Now he has been medicated for no reason. This rule makes no sense as why would I not want my dog to be comfortable during service and this should have been communicated in some capacity on their website before hand. The person checking me in also frustrated me by saying again after I’d already arrived that for first time appointments they wouldn’t do a full groom. This all needed to be communicated ahead of time. This has been a huge waste of my time when transparency could have been offered from them from the start.

Pretty good store for it being a big chain store. I normally wouldn’t shop here as I’m a loyal customer to all the best and mud bay which are much smaller and have more (healthy) options for your dog. But last min pit stop and they have some of the brands that are found in the more small stores. Big selection of toys and bedding, as well as grooming needs, leashes, collars, pee pads, small animal bedding, etc. (i do not endorse pet sales) but please make sure you are buying a big enough housing for your new friend

We got our Chameleon Calypso from this location about 2 months ago and we couldn’t be happier. The lady who helped us the day we got her seemed to really care and was very knowledgeable about Chameleons. Thank you for your help!

The birds are unhappy and kept in dirty, small enclosures. The more intelligent ones have one toy each. They languish there for months becoming handshy and terrified. Sometimes one disappears for a bit and then comes back. Petco needs to stop selling parrots, yes even parakeets, yes I'm for real, they have needs and they deserve better.However, this place will sell you dog food and fish I guess, it is accomplishing that.

Honestly, a pretty terrible experience. It was easy to book with available appointments and a more affordable price than our regular groomer, but now I know why. We have a doodle and they just shaved her entirely including her face. I don't know why you would ever shave a doodle's face! Really uneven, some parts of her legs were shaved down to the skin. It was really not needed, she had a couple of light matted spots, but the level to which they just shaved her head to toe was appalling. Luckily hair grows back, but I cannot recommend at all.

Petco has improved in the last few years.They don't carry animals which they feel unable to house and care for properly. Unfortunately, rats are one of those. (Well, probably fortunately for them!)They did carry literally every other thing I needed to set my new rat up in style!

The manager at the Holman Rd location is incredibly rude and has zero customer service skills. Honestly i was shocked to find out she was the manager. I have been a long time, loyal Petco customer and I will not make purchases at this location again.

Overall it was a great experience. The staff was nice and informative. We ended up getting a hamster, cage, food etc. He's been such a fun little blessing/addition to the family. He's so sweet.The store was nice and clean. The only downside is there's so many cool critters and I can't bring them all home.

Rory is a wonderful groomer for my dog. He is difficult and rarely warms up to people, but Rory is able to get him to relax and enjoy his spa day. The grooming staff at Petco always takes good care of me and my dog.

Reasonable for a nationwide chain. The two employees I encountered were pleasant and attentive. They have the dog food my dog eats. They encourage well behaved pets and their owners, and hand out treats for the furry ones.Update Jul 06 2023. In stock situation has improved substantially over three to six months ago. Employees are still great.
