I loooove this store! The staff is incredible! Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful!! I shop here for clients weekly and the meat dept is so accommodating!!! The produce dept is so knowledgeable!! Favorite deli items: hearty kale Caesar, Turkish garbanzo salad, and the skagit chicken sandwich . Also there’s always someone to take my call when checking to see if something is in stock there

What a gem this store is! Super clean, well-organized and a wide selection of both basic and specialty items. There's a stand for sandwiches, cheese, pizza and of course the standard butcher counter. They have a surprinsgly good wine selection and some baked goods as well.This is in the bottom of a housing complex, so parking is underground but well-lit and secure. Enter through the ramp on the west side of the building (22nd Ave). The first section is marked for PCC customers only and then the residential section has it's own gate. There's an elevator if you need it, but also stairs.

Wide variety of organic fruits and veggies. Though. I could not find poblanos, or Anchor chili powder last I was there..? I love the variety of medicinal mushrooms!

What a great neighborhood grocery store! A little bit of everything: spirits, cheeses, gourmet candy, produce... I really enjoyed and appreciated the variety. The staff was helpful and friendly. I'd definitely revisit!

Products use to be in a larger variety of price ranges, since the store is catering to people with a larger income variable, it makes pcc market a less inclusive environment. Please change pcc back to a community market, because community is everyone, not just people with gross amounts of cash. Thank you.

This store has a fantastic selection of organic produce, and their meat and seafood are super high quality! The staff is always smiling and happy to help with any issues. If I had to nit pick, I'd say my only criticism is that the prepared food in the deli is slightly under seasoned... but then again, I think that is intentional for those who eat low sodium.

I've been here at 10 am and nothing is out at the meat counter. Just got done tonight at 7 and nothing is out again. Is this a Seattle thing or just PCC? So much for this being such a "foody" region when you can't even buy food at 10 am or 7 pm.Edit: For the 10 am visit, it was Sunday, September 10th. And 7 pm is sooooo early! This is extremely frustrating, but not surprising given how poor customer service is in this city.

Why are you closing one hour early, my cat needed food, I'll make sure to go to food coop instead now since same hours.3 yrs ago: This store seems notorious for workers running into shoppers, when they first opened ( 2 yrs ago) I was ran into by a few of the workers, then again last week it happened again and my hand got mildly injured.Brennan filled out the report and I told him that it seemed the workers were under alot of pressure because this keeps happening.A couple of days later Brennen was pushing a cart and told me that my cart shouldn't be in the middle of the isle which seemed kind of rude especially since last time I was on the side of the isle... what does it matter? He also commented to his co workers and laughed about me after telling me this. As a paying customer who also got her hand injured at the store I don't appreciate this unprofessional treatment.

This is a good grocery store. I like the deals on salmon when it is buy one get one free. However, the biggest issue is that they take the breakfast sandwiches away at 10am on weekends! Not all of us are out and about this early. Please leave them out until noon at least!

I need to start by giving a BIG shout out to KeKe at the Central District PCC. I went in to buy some breakfast, and she made me feel very welcomed as a customer.She didn't follow me around the store, nor did she ever make me feel uncomfortable. She made my morning, and subsequent day, a positive one. And that's how a shopping experience should be.Thank you, KeKe!

I find myself conflicted writing this review. My bf &I have been regulars at this location. We've enjoyed sharing meals here along with our busy routines. They provide a microwave & small sit-down area to eat. Unfortunately, we were shocked when the manager announced that we were trespassed after using the restroom together since only one was available. I like the produce and fun products, last time I went in the cashier was a bit rude and this time when I asked for the bathroom code the employee actually rolled her eyes at me and made a big deal out of it, I wasn’t sure if I felt embarrassed or like laughing, so strangely disturbing.

This grocery is super clean and organized. Located on 23rd and Union. I enjoy picking up an olive, potato bread, truffle chip, and popcorn here. During Thanksgiving, they offered smoke turkey and boy is delicious! The only complaint I have about this place is the parking garage.

I've been shopping at PCC since they opened in Columbia City, and thrilled they opened the new store on Union as it's much closer for me. Though slightly more expensive, the quality of their products is second to none. Great selection in the fresh deli, hormone and antibiotic free meat and some of the best produce in town. Staff are always friendly and willing to help. Take advantage of their membership, it offers a lot of great deals throughout the year.

Small grocery. Could use better signage to get to the parking garage. Once in the garage I was surprised to not see "Subaru parking only" signs. As for the store itself, clean, well lit, pretty darn nice cheese assortment too. Good place for a quick grocery run, but would probably go to another store if looking for larger selection of meats.

I don’t understand how a store that professes to be a co-op charges 50% more than Whole Foods for identical, branded items. Sure, the produce is good but is also 30-100% more than Whole Foods and not for recognizably better quality. They don’t pay their workers meaningfully more than Whole Foods does either. It’s pretty much impossible to justify shopping here.I’ll add: it gets even worse. We bought several pounds of peaches. They sat in a brown paper bag on our counter to ripen, exactly as one is supposed to with peaches, and half of them went moldy before they were ripe.

I think that the checkout area is too crowded and condensed. I will only shop there late at night when it is empty.THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO DISTANCE YOURSELF FROM OTHER SHOPPERS DURING CHECKOUT.All the customers are funneled together and must come in close contact to one another to go through the checkout area.Love the selection of produce and prepared food. I also like that this store is not huge and you can get from one end to the other quickly.

Customer service is great here! If you plan to shop here on a regular I would advise to get the PCC membership which is a one time fee. If you're not familiar with PCC you could compare it to a Whole Foods. All of their togo items are fresh mostly organic.One item I am greatly obsessed with are their breakfast biscuit sandwiches. They're really good. Try and go early 7-9 to get them fresh. They also sell the biscuits as well at this location. They're near the brownies/scones across from the produce section.

My new go-to food store. Produce, meat, bulk grains, prepared foods, cheeses. All good to great. And they do all the hard work of evaluating products for social, environmental, sustainability, and humane issues. And I get a dividend once a year. Oh and the weekly freebies for members are solid!

I'm certain I am in the minority with this grade. I went in to grab something to drink real fast. Not the place for it. I'm sure if I were changing my diet this spot would be on the list but I'm not. I want to eat horrible grease covered food with camcer- causing chemicals in colored water and enjoy it. I'm not trying to drink a kale-infused antioxidant drink for $6.50.

I need to start by saying THANK YOU to Assistant Store Director, Adrean Cummings, for taking the time to listen to me and dialoguing about the profiling issue in the store.It's because of you that I will continue to shop at PCC. Had we not talked, I would have told my associates, family, and friends to never shopped in a PCC again due to the profiling incident.And, Adrean, you're 100% correct. The profiling issue is something that needs to be addressed. Especially when you consider that Bernie Maddoff absconded with BILLIONS of dollars, but I was "watched" over a $3.00 cup of tea for which I actually paid.At any rate, Adrean, thank you. You have retained a customer.
