Been going here for years, it is such a warm, friendly, pet loving place. Our last dog loved it here and today was our poodle's 2nd birthday so of course he got treats from Mud Bay. They gave him a frozen yogurt and some dried salmon treats to boot. I will always recommend them. I really love the staff.

Nice shop. Not the best selection for getting food for puppies specifically. The associate wasn't very helpful, all he knew was the difference between which side of the store was for cats and dogs. Pretty expensive also

This place is great! The employees are very nice and knowledgeable. They provide great customer service! It's a great place to get all of your pet supplies. They have great resources if you are in need. They will do what they can to help and won't let your furry friend go without food.

The staff are friendly and engaging every time I've shopped here, showing true interest in helping me to find the best products for my pet's needs. Most of the stock is well-priced and there is a lot of variety. The organization of the inventory would benefit from a redesign for clarity and aesthetic. I also wish there was a greater selection of raw or underprocessed cat foods.

Employees were incredibly kind and helpful. Wonderful products although I wish there would have been some more soft treat options in the bulk section for senior dogs. Not knowing the sources and their reputation for quality, I feel I can assume wholeheartedly that I'm getting good products for my dog based on presentation alone.

The staffs here are super friendly and helpful. It is one of a few places in Seattle that offer frozen cat foods. They also offer free return service if my cats don’t like the frozen food. Their prices are no different from major pet stores like Petco in the city. It is my number one place to go to to get my pet supplies.

A little on the pricey side but they do have a wonderful selection of everything you might need for your fur babies. I love that we brought Chimichanga (our corgi) and let him pick out his own toy, a green squeaky alligator.For living in the city I definitely recommend getting the Thunder Ease calming diffuser. It helps mellow out our little guy when we are gone or there is lots of noise.

Absolutely amazing! This is me and my service dogs favorite place. The team here is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. They even helped me get my dog into one of the backpacks to try it out! The products within the store are 100% quality and makes me feel alot less anxious when I turn a product around to look at the ingredients.

Love this place! Really nice pet shop 🐾🐶🐱 Everything is super neat and organized. The staff are knowledgeable and informative! They're willing to help you with anything you may need but they do give you time to browse on your own. Not too expensive either! I love visiting this place when I'm in Belltown

I rarely leave reviews but this place deserves one. Super friendly people 100% of the time. In an age of e-commerce and confusion product reviews, it's so nice to have a brick/mortar experience and get advice from real experts. Alexis helped me today and she was so kind and knowledgeable (even helped me put my puppys new collar on). Great work deserves to be recognized!

I came in haggard and desperate for some help for my cat’s FLUTING issues, and the employees here were so incredibly helpful and answered all my questions. The cleaning spray was instrumental in helping deodorizing my house once my cat started leaking everywhere. Their knowledge on specialty food was super helpful and insightful for healthy urinary diets. Highly recommend, and will go back again!

We visited this location today and they have a nice selection of treats and toys! Unfortunately one associate was very nice (male) and one (female) was rather rude. I asked her to verify the price of a toy and she was very irritated and said it should be on the sign. I do not see well, I have had multiple corneal transplants. Since she was at a register I didn't think it would be a inconvenience but she made me feel like we were. Her attitude was dismissive and tart.

More than a pet supply store. Mud Bay has been a great place for solid advice, loving reception for our dog, and great deals on quality food, accessories and many pet necessities. It all starts with the wonderful and knowledgeable staff. They make our pup feel loved and even have photo shoots for holidays... which is the cutest! The advice we have received is always on point and very helpful. The quality food offered provides great choices for all diets. Dog jackets are essential in Seattle and we love their selection and prices. I’m been thankful several times for Mud Bay as a physical location I can run to in need of quick, basic health needs for my pup. Thank you, Mud Bay. Everyone is doing a fabulous job and our dog Dre loves you all!

My kitty loves the dehydrated food they have here at Mud Bay, it is so much better for him than the wet food we were feeding him before. I’ll be going back to restock on all his kitty needs soon! Super friendly staff and they sell high quality trustworthy products with a great return policy. I come here every 2 weeks for their frozen raw dog food and cat cans. They also give little pet treat sample which my pets are in love with and they get so excited when I come home with mudbay bags.

After being a customer spending over $300 per month on my dog's food for over a year, I have become pretty accustomed on how to place a special order. Recently, I have noticed staffing changes/training have turned my 5 minute phone calls into sometimes 15-20 minutes while their staff figures out "how to order" my repeat order. I have been dealing with these extremely long ordering processes, and when I called today, I got another associate who was not familiar on how to special order. I was guiding the employee on how to order and even gave her my phone number so she could pull up my account to make things easier. She told me she didn't see my account.. at that point, I wanted to save time and asked if someone more experienced could do my order. She told me someone would call me back.Little did I know, when I answered the return call it was to a LECTURE on respecting staff and employees and making sure everyone had a good experience. I was not asked my side of the story (I wasn't aware of this problem to begin with) and it seemed like the associate on the phone lied to her superior about how our interaction went. I have never been called up by someone and lectured on how I "treated" their employee, even though I was guiding her and helping her pull up my phone number (she didn't know how to even do that). I am appalled on how I was spoken to, and I could not even get a word in through the lecture. What a terrible way to treat a customer who continuously orders and has been doing this same routine for a year. So disappointing.. and so rude.

The staff here is so friendly and helpful! They're always willing to assess the needs of my pet and help find the food and treats that will be best for her. I also love that they sample out food because my cat is picky but loves variety and it's always a risk trying something new.

They're also doing a good job with the cleanliness of the store during the pandemic, they have hand sanitizer right when you come in that they require you to use when entering & of course masks are required
