Best people. Best prices. Best products. Best vibes. It’s annoying to see 1- and 2-star reviews for things like the parking lot or the sidewalk outside this store, as if the people running this store are responsible for it. If I could, I would only ever go to this pet store forever. My dog loves the staff so much and they all know the dog regulars by name and are so knowledgeable. Sometimes we’ll just stop in for a few turkey tendons because we’re on a walk and like dropping in. The folks here are watching my boy grow up and it’s such a sweet thing for us all to share 😭. I’m so glad I popped in the day after I got him

I’ve been coming to this store for two years now, and many of my visits have been enjoyable for both me and my pets. The staff are always welcoming and eager to help me out with any questions I have. I genuinely feel like they care for the well-being of my animals.That said, there have been several instances now, where upon arriving in the parking lot I have found fentanyl burned tinfoil in the parking lot right outside the store. I’ve never written a 1 star review and felt bad about doing it, until now. This safety of my pets so heavily outweighs all the good that this store has to offer.I hope Mud Bay reads this and does something about it, but I won’t be there to see the change if it happens because it’s not worth the risk. Surely every pet owner who lives in this area is aware of the dangers that hard drug use can pose to their animals. It’s an unfortunate fact of life these days. Regardless of this, it’s not too much to ask that the ten step walk from my car to the door of the store be free of potentially fatal consequences. Please do better by your employees and your customers.

Sad experience at Mud Bay. We haven’t had this experience at any other locations, but all of the staff completely ignored us and our dog when we went in with our dog. He was sad because usually he gets greeted excitedly. It didn’t make us feel welcomed and we will probably take the longer drive to All the Best since they’ve been way more consistently welcoming to us and, most importantly our dog. Hopefully this was a one off and not typical. :(

I’ve rarely found a store with such consistently happy staff. They are always kind and curious in the best ways! Wonderful selection, and I know my animals are always getting something healthy. We’ve had a few times where our picky 4 legged friends either didn’t like the food or it didn’t agree with them and the folks at Mud Bay have always been great at not just processing a return, but also at finding options that will work!

I really love this Mudbay location- it's right next to our vet's office and we have only ever been greeted with the warmest and most helpful service from the folks that work there! Basically you can tell they just all really love animals and they want to help you find the best fit for *your pet specifically* when you're looking for an item. For example, when I was searching for a shampoo to help de-shed my GSD I pointed out a brand I had used from there in the past, and they instead suggested another item that would likely be more effective on her coat (and it was a more affordable price, even). As always they remind you that if the item does not end up working well for you too please bring it back. They just really do care!You can't leave individual item reviews on their website, I assume because their stock does vary a lot and it's more hands-picked than a big box pet store, so I want to mention a a specific item here that we're so happy we purchased from Mudbay- the Comfurt Collar! We stopped by and bought one after picking up our 12 yo GSD from a surgical procedure to remove a small mass from her back- she hasn't worn a cone of any kind in maybe 5 years or longer so we weren't sure how cooperative she would be in a cone..... she loves this one! She has happily snoozed with it on since day 1 and has made her recovery so much easier and comfortable!

What an amazing crew at the greenwood location!!!! My doggo has special needs. She's recovering from the loss of her facial muscles and requires canned food to be formed into "meatballs". They gave me several samples and assisted me in opening the cans and attempting to make meatballs. We found a suitable kind and I purchased a case. Thank you Mud Bay!!! You're playing a huge roll in my JoJo's recovery!

It was my first time here at the store. The staff made me feel so welcome and even gave me samples to try for my anxious puppy. She was very understanding and kept encouraging me to keep trying different anxiety products to help my dog, and even gave me a thank you card for coming to the store the first time. I am very appreciative and thankful for the staff kind services. This make me feel so happy. I will come back in the future! Also the store is very big with a lot of options to choose from. I am very excited and would love to shop more at the store in the future when I come to Seattle. Thank you staff!

The best staff ever! People that work here are so kind and really love animals. My dog always wants to stop by just for pets and treats and they always welcome him. They also have great knowledge of what dry food to suggest for our dog that has digestive problems. See the attached picture of my dog stopping by and hoping the store is open.

Always a great place to visit. I end up going here maybe once a month and every time I get great service and there are plenty of options. This last time I visited, the rep was telling another customer about a cat toy she recommends. I took her advice and bought that toy and my cat loves it! I also got some gelato for my dog and he loves that as well.

We visited a little over a month ago with our new puppy. We walked in and wandered around until we found the varieties of puppy foods they carried. We had probably stayed in that section for 10 minutes and then one of the employees came over to ask if we needed assistance. We shared that we had just picked up our puppy a week ago and were looking to transition his food for fear that he may have had an allergy to the chicken in it. The employee was incredibly helpful and guided us through what kind of food we were looking for. The employee also came back with a bunch of food samples and treats to try, all free of chicken, which we really appreciated as first time puppy owners with a pup who isn't very food-motivated. The employee was extremely friendly, sharing about his own experiences with his dog and encouraging us to try different foods and see what our pup likes. Mud Bay's return policy is great too. If a product doesn't work out for you or your pet, you can bring it back in for a refund or they can help you find something that might be a better fit!When we checked out, the employee helping us gave us multiple pamphlets explaining how to transition a dog's food (i.e., kibble, freeze-dried, raw, etc.) to the same or other types of dog foods. We didn't catch the employee's name but we can't thank him enough! We left the store feeling way more confident than we had when we entered. We will be coming back to shop here in the future!

Best pet supplies shop I've ever been to, and I've had pets all my life. When I got a new cat they let me try a few different cans of wet food free of charge to see what he would like best, and when I decided to change his dry food, they gave me an excellent recommendation and instructions for switching him over. The employees are always very friendly and helpful!

Had an awesome experience my first day back in Seattle. I was looking for a replacement food my pups and the store manager Elliot came over and had some awesome suggestions and explained why he would recommend the food and how it compared to their old food. He also hooked us up with some snacks on the house, for them to enjoy. Customer service was above and beyond. The cashier was extremely nice as well and overall I had a great experience. This is now my go to store!

I came in to buy hay for my bunnies and noticed that this Mud Bay was carrying a new brand I had never heard of. Brendan was so helpful and did a ton of research for me to ensure that it’s a reputable brand to replace the brand I had been used to buying. He truly went above and beyond and was so kind (I’m a paranoid bunny mom lol). You can tell he cares so much about the pets and the customers.

Mud Bay is great. They always have high quality products and are incredibly helpful and happy to special order. They are also doing a fantastic job of navigating the pandemic. They are the only shop I've seen with a portable hand wash station, and they've had it since early days. It is clear they value pets and people, and I am happy to support them every time.

The folks in here are always friendly and helpful, and pay extra special attention to my pup when I bring her in. My dog is always psyched when we take a trip here. Great selection of hardy dog toys! The fluff n tuff brand is the only plush toy our dog doesn’t destroy immediately. Great treats and good brands as well.I also appreciate their seriousness in being a COVID-safe environment.Thank you for telling another customer to properly put on their mask! I know it can’t be easy to deal with that. I really appreciated it. Hand washing station when you walk in is wonderful.

Mud Bay is always great for picking up supplies for the pets. I love their bulk treat selection, and the staff is always very friendly and loves to say hi to the pup (with some treats too). I like this location too because it is well laid out and the parking is great.

Our go-to store for pretty much everything dog and cat related. It's not just a retail outing but an adventure for the dog too -- he loves to stop by, have a drink of water, visit with everyone, and sample new items & old ones too. We also come home with just what we needed and a whole bunch of things we probably didn't need so much ... MB has also been a great resource for specialty items, like the right dog shampoo or cat toy. When our dog was young, this was The Best Store hands down for getting information and products about what to give our new puppy to chew on and eat. We're very thankful they were available (at several locations!) every time we had a new-puppy-related question, Thank You Mud Bay!

Store employees were very friendly, nice and helpful. Even when my puppy had an accident inside, I asked embarrassed for some paper towels to clean it up and what I assume was the store manager shrugged it off and cleaned it up for me, as well as gave me tips about potty training. My dog especially loves the no hide rolls, and the raw hide bones. The raw hide they have there has never cracked or anything, and they last a good while for my dog.

The best pet store. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. At rival store "All the Best" a sales person pushed buying way to big a bag of dog food and insisted that they know more than our vet about our dogs nutrition becuase the vet gets kickbacks. Nobody at Mud Bay would ever say something like that. The return policy, sampling of pet food and great selection of high quality products are the highlights. If every retail store was run as well as Mud Bay, I would stop shopping online as much. I look forward to going to Mud Bay with my dog.
