I was referred here from UW for a travel consult & was happy to have attended the appointment with Beverly. Scheduling an appointment online makes it very easy; keep in mind weekends are busier for them yet the overall experience was worthwhile! This is a charming neighborhood spot with locals coming in for pharmaceutical or gift shopping needs; the staff were friendly & attentive. Beverly took the time to ask what my goals were for the consult, was reassuring, & gave me the immunizations that were necessary (in addition to possible Rx if I need it) during travel. There were walk-ins for flu shots & the like and the customers were squared away fairly quickly as well. Definitely recommend!

You can save a lot on vaccines by going somewhere else. I needed typhoid vaccine for an upcoming trip to Asia and everyone told me to come here. My insurance rejected the coverage (not the pharmacy's fault), so they wanted to charge me $215 out of pocket. I asked if I could use a GoodRX coupon, and they said they don't accept them (this is an exclusionary and greedy policy decision which is 100% the pharmacy's fault). Took 3 min of Googling to learn that the retail price for this vaccine is supposed to be $150 and I could actually get it for $120 with a GoodRX coupon at Walgreens. The trip to Katterman's was a waste of time, and their discriminatory choice not to accept online manufacturer discount coupons is frustrating and offensive.

My family received our travel vaccines from Beverly prior to our trip to Nepal. She was so pleasant and informative. It was actually enjoyable to get our vaccinations. Katterman's carries unique first aid items and travel accessories that would be difficult to find in chain stores. Lastly, the store has a bunch of cool stuff; fun to browse. It's so great to be able to support a locally owned business

I was looking for travel related vaccinations and Bartell referred me to Katterman's. The staffs in the pharmacy as well as the front were all helpful and friendly. Steve the pharmacist was very gentle and carefully explained to me all about the vaccines. The store was fun to browse around while I waited. The personal touch of Katterman's is really nice and hard to find nowadays.

I've used Katterman's a few times over the time I've lived in Seattle. Thanks to them, I've had a fantastic experience handling an obscure allergy that interferes with medication. Katterman's has personalized text support during business hours, which is a rare perk I've never encountered with any other pharmacy. I like this place because it’s a relic of the 90s. Got that classic small town stationary store-meets pharmacy smell (what is that smell, potpourri?). Loads of low-tech doodads everywhere for sale. And a large selection of individually wrapped candies ur grandma would have carried in her purse. Good nostalgia vibes.

I was afraid I would have to wait forever when I walked in with my eight year old twins to get COVID-19 boosters and flu mist. I must have timed it well because the wait wasn’t long at all. Everyone was patient, friendly, and kind. Both my sons got their shots within a matter of seconds, and neither complained. The phlebotomist was awesome, a sweet and friendly lady, wearing a button that said vaccine queen!

What a Gem! I was in need of some travel vaccines and was referred here. I walked in and found a neighborhood pharmacy that I immediately felt welcome and comfortable in. I came from Edmonds so, it's a bit out of the way for me but, have decided it was so worth the drive. Everyone I interacted with was absolutely delightful and knowledgeable. Besides the wonderful pharmacy, there is a wide array of cool stuff to shop for as well.Thank You for maintaining a neighborhood feel of care and concern for your customers and not just shuffling people thru and out the door.

Had to rush in here right when they open to get a yellow fever vaccine hours two hours before my international flight. (I know, I know, long story) Everyone was courteous and quick, I was in and out within 20 minutes with my certificate in hand. Will definitely come back for other vaccines.

Lifesavers!!!! Got my typhoid vaccine & im ready to travel, thanks for making me feel safe in my travels! I have blue shield Regence n paid like $20 cover but I was so last minute I thought I’d have to dish out at least $70 n didn’t so thats a win for me!! Very kind n helpful people :)

I went here for a COVID shot, and I was so impressed that I wanted to leave them a review: it was clean and well-stocked, and the staff were knowledgable, helpful, friendly, and, above all, caring. They really succeeded at the personal touch that a local business can deliver, and the staff seemed to take pride in that experience. I hesitate to describe a pharmacy as cozy, but if ever there were a cozy pharmacy, this would be it.

Awesome helpful staff. As of now there are 10 places in the USA that have the Yellow Fever Vaccine, and this place has it! Go here and don't go to any other travel vaccine clinics. They have an affordable consultation if you need it for other vaccines.

This place is awesome!I have a crazy expensive prescription my career doesn’t support (especially after paying for housing in Seattle.) The drug manufacturer offers co-pay assistance in the form of a debit card, but it took over a dozen times trying to run the card and almost as many phone calls to and from me and the card administrators over almost a week before it was successfully charged. Lisa especially went way above, above and beyond. I’d like to give her 100 stars!

Called to check on my rx since it had been weeks and I hadn't heard anything. Person was nice but then just said "ok bye" and hung up mid conversation. Really wanted to switch to a small pharmacy, but I guess not!

This pharmacy is a tad far away from us to be our regular pick-up point, but it has really come through for us in a pinch a couple of times.1) When my daughter was 2, this was the only place that could get her a flu shot outside her pediatrician's office. Most places won't take kids till they're ~ 4 yrs old, and the flu shot clinics at our ped's office were booked until November (um... flu season?). The friendly pharmacist gave her a shot with no complaints. We ended up paying out of pocket for it due to a minor mix-up, but it wasn't cost-prohibitive.2) My husband was recently hospitalized and wanted to cut down on narcotics for pain. However, his allergies to corn and soy mean that OTC versions of acetaminophen are typically off limits and our previous sources (Kroger liquid gels and Tylenol sore throat liquid) have been discontinued. Katterman's compounding pharmacist, Lisa, not only had experience with doing capsules with just acetaminophen and knew what dose would be needed to avoid fillers, but also helped check our insurance when they tried to send me a CVS for generics after multiple calls. She communicated quickly via text to follow-up (so helpful because I have two small children and was also managing hospital visits) and has been a bright spot in a stressful experience.While we'll probably still use the big-name pharmacy up the street for minor needs like children's tylenol, Katterman's is our go-to for the hard-to-fix problems.
