I’m conflicted because overall had a good experience with the shop, time waited, and owner but when you pay so much for a bath/brush I just expect it to be completed or communicated that it wasn’t. I did tip 15 percent so including that my total was $93. That included an add on of the normal bath/brush package to include teeth brushing and nail grind and while my dogs two back nails are clearly clipped/grinded, it doesn’t seem his front paws were touched at all. Neither clipped/grinded nor paw pads shaved. Overall he’s very clean, they did great on the brushing out, his ears look great (which is a big deal for a beagle!) but seeing his front paws nails so long still while being able to see the quik so far back especially on his doggy thumbs where the nail is so long, I’m not sure why they weren’t done. It was even communicated they WERE able to do his nails/grind (which he’s usually nervous about which is why I asked). I took him in yesterday, Friday and felt the owner Amber was super attentive, friendly, and able to get in us quickly too. However I can’t contact them today to see if the issue can be fixed because they are closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday and we are going out of the country Tuesday morning for 2 weeks. So while this problem may have been able to be rectified with a wider availability of hours, we now have to find someone else to do his nails this weekend before we drop him off at our pet sitters. Would’ve preferred to not have to go to two separate places, pay again, and waste the time.

Great complete grooming for a great price. I have a very reactive foster puggle, and they were able to accommodate, and make him and all the other pups feels safe and comfortable. He had a great experience, and we will definitely be back!

Oh jeeze! Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet! I have to share the love we have for JATC and Amber. Yes, it can take a few calls but it’s because the place is a family run small business and they prioritize pup experience. I am happy to call more than once if it means I am listened to, I feel comfortable and most importantly I know my pup is going to come home happy and well taken care of. Last time I called to make an appt I was embarrassed Higgins is developing matting and Amber was kind, informative, non-judgmental, and reassuring that I was still doing a good job. … I am just looking forward to his next visit so it will be better in the future for both he and I.Thank you for what you do and who you are Amber!

Very good experience, they worked with me when I was late for my appointment, treated my doggy gently (he's a rescue), gave him a good wash and trim and overall, everything was on time and affordable. And as far as I could tell it looked to be a family owned business, so that's totally worth supporting.I'll be bringing my doggo back in the future, only good things to say.

Amber is a very conscientious provider and always does what is best for my boy. We had been to several places before we discovered JATCO grooming and we will never go anywhere else, again. I can’t go anywhere without getting stopped by adults and children alike, because Amber keeps him in showstopper form! And Amber is a very kind person and has big heart! I've tried several grooming services to trim little Mo's nails. I am impressed. The beautiful woman who did Gizmo's nails was so gentle, so kind. Her daughter was equally beautiful as she calmed and cared for a dog as Mom stepped away.Obviously a family business. Always available. Awesome service. Excellent prices. This is The place to go for all your pet grooming needs!!! Hands down

Recently brought our 5 month old Shih Tzu in for a puppy cut and the staff was friendly and attentive to what we wanted. The cost was very reasonable compared to every other place we have looked at and the trim came out amazing! Theodore was happy and healthy after the 3 hour appointment!

They are always super nice and welcoming, they do exceptional work with attention to detail, and I don't ever have to worry about my fur baby because I know they take special care. I feel like they care for my pet dog, just as they would for one of their own. Just Around the Corner Dog Groomer is 10 times better than Rex on 12th.

This salon is THE ONLY place that my dog will let trim his nails. We keep moving further away, but it’s definitely worth the drive down. The staff are great and he’s not terrified of walking in like other places.

I've been bringing my mini poodle here off and on for roughly 7 years. Everyone is SO kind, gentle and I know my dog is always in great hands. Pricing is competitive and the results are always great. Highly recommend.

I have been looking for a good groomer ever since I moved to Seattle, and was hoping based on the reviews that Just Around the Corner would be great. However, my experience did not seem to match any of the reviews. After my dog was there 4 and a half hours, I picked him up and he had the ugliest haircut I had ever seen on him. I often groom my dog myself, but I take him to a professional every once in a while to do the tricky things I can't do (tight feet, thoroughly cleaned and trimmed/plucked ears, and de-matted). My dog came back with mats on his ears, residual ear wax, untrimmed face and untrimmed feet. ? His head tuft also got cut super short (distasteful in my opinion) and his nails are untrimmed. I feel like I could have done a better job at home :/ I guess my search will continue...

I have been a customer of Just Around The Corner dog grooming for a while now. Amber and the staff are amazing! They groomed my old dog, whom has passed, and my current Long Hair Chihuahua. My long hair chihuahua is a special needs dog, but they are so good with him and he enjoys going every time. They do an exceptional job grooming him, and I am so glad I found them. They do cat grooming as well! I would definitely recommend them for all of your pet grooming needs!

First time bringing my almost 3 year old Yorkie to this groomer. Great location, professional staff, owners dog right there to kindly greet you at door. Seven was super calm when I picked him up 2.5 hours later. This let me know they treated him pretty well. Once we got home he was playfully happy. His haircut is super cute and he smells absolutely delicious. We will be back!

Previously left my dog with multiple minor grooming issues. When I called back (repeatedly) they never picked up. Eventually I came in, and they said they left a voice message, which I oddly never received. Now, I've had to come back since my preferred groomer is out currently. They've had my dog for four hours, and gave themselves an extra hour window for return time. We are now 20 minutes past their estimated time, and I still don't have my dog. I suggest funding alternative dog groomers.

This groomer does a great job and takes great care of your dogs when you are able to make an appointment. I won’t be coming here going forward because of that last point. They hardly ever answer their phone, and they do not respond to voicemails or emails.If you’re lucky enough to get an appointment, great. If not, it’s not worth the effort to keep trying, so find another groomer who will take your call.

We took our dog first to their Queen Anne, then their Madison Valley location. They always did a great job. When we moved, we tried to find a groomer closer to us but found ourselves going back to Just Around the Corner before our wedding because we knew they'd do a good job and make our doggy ring-bearer look great!

They do an amazing job here, especially for the price, and my Samoyed loves it. It's the first groomer I've ever gone to where my dog will run into the back to get groomed. They're that good.

This groomer is definitely the best groomer in the area. We took our goldendoodle to at least 3 others on the hill and around the area and none were as consistent and great groom as Just Around the Corner. The only complaint I have is it's pretty much dumb luck to schedule an appt. They don't allow you to do it online and calling them during their business hours is hit or miss if they actually answer, and I've never gotten a call back if I leave a message. Their quality of grooming makes me stick it out, but it does seem like a business that may benefit from an online system.

I have a medium and a large dog and both love their groomer at Just Around the Corner. They are gentle, playful, and even stop to give my pups a hug or quick kiss to help them stay calm. The facility is spotless and well ventilated. I've had dogs all my life and JAC groomers are the very best.

Great service. They got my dog in quickly when she really needed grooming! She looked great and was very happy when I picked her up. It is a little pricey but I think that's on par with most seattle grooming.

This shop has been so accommodating to us and are so pleasant to work with. I have a 35lb very fluffy paralyzed pup and the groomers here have been so sweet and patient with her.She always comes back looking so beautiful and for what she needs they are very reasonably priced.I would recommend them to anyone.

I was previously paying $30+ each time I took my 2 dogs in for nail trims. The nail trim deal for 2 dogs for 6 months for $89 has saved me so much money already. The service is always quick and very friendly.

I've been going to JAC for almost 6 years, first in Queen Anne and now in Madison. I like that they are a small family run business! I have a short haired dog and I love the skinny dip package and the unlimited nail grinding.
