Health Mutt staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. I recently adopted a kitty and they helped my figure out some important logistics about finding a vet and grooming. Don’t give your business to the big box stores. It’s worth the trip to come to Health Mutt and their selection is great!

We have a very VERY heavy shedding dog who also has anxiety around other dogs. The grooming experience here is exceptional. He came back bathed, brushed, nails clipped, and happy since they only groom one dog at a time.

Wonderful small business! The owner also makes her own pet bandanas, and if you love your pet you'll get them one. or 10. She's always coming out with new ones! I've had a few for a couple years and they hold up GREAT!

Longtime customer, had appt for our 14year old dog (diagnosed with lung tumors) and when I showed up, there was a 'glitch' in their system and no one to groom Lou. The employee said she called and although she had the right number, my phone showed NO evidence that she even tried to call. I will never spend another nickel there. Mud Bay and All the Best will get all my pet dollars from now on.

The service here is absolutely amazing! Our dog is always super happy after her appointment. It’s super easy to book an appointment online and we get a text message as soon as she is done! I am always surprised at how quickly they are done. They give my dog an adorable handkerchief and she smells super clean. I highly recommend this place for any dog owner!

I've always had a pleasant experience at Health Mutt, but my last interaction sealed the 5-star deal.On 12/30/22, I was overcharged for a purchase. I was offered a receipt, but declined. It wasn't until later that night that I thought 18 bucks plus change was alot to pay for two chicken feet & six duck feet. I called the next day, right after HM opened. I explained the situation to Shelli (sp?). She was able to (w/the help of Theresa) locate my transaction from the day before & realized I was charged for necks instead of feet (at least in part). Shelli went ahead & refunded the original transaction, then charged my card for the correct items.What stellar customer service! I am grateful to Shelli & Theresa for their help. My takeaway is pay attention when conducting any transaction anywhere, as mistakes do happen, and get a receipt, just in case. (Again, I WAS offered a receipt at the original transaction, but I declined.)Health Mutt all the way!

Best spot to get treats, accessories, bones and cute bandanas for your pet! It was also very cool when I told them I wanted a water fountain for my cat and asked if they’d ever get one in stock. The associate wrote it down and sure enough, a couple weeks later, they had several in stock! Love supporting this business!

I've walked by this shop 100 times but never really had a reason to go before until now. I recently adopted a new dog, and when I stopped in the owner was there and very helpful with selecting products! My new pup loved everything we got. Oh, and the owner also makes all the bandannas in the shop -- lots of other unique things too. Very close to my fitness studio, grocery store, and nail salon so I will definitely be back whenever possible. Much lower prices on some items compared to other local chains.

Disclaimer: I did speak on the phone regarding a different issue and they were very accommodating regarding the poor haircut but I am posting this review after further examining my poor pup's nails in hopes that it does not happen to anyone else's. I will not be going back to fix the haircut because they've lost my trust.Not sure if this was a result of the groomer rushing the service as she was 30 mins late but here we go...Like last time, I told the groomer it was okay to skip the nails if my dog was resisting but somehow that was lost in translation (sure, understandable. it happens). But over the phone she tried to place blame on me instead of owning up to her own actions. She was returned to me with a bandaged paw and the bandage just came off so I am just now seeing what a mess it is. Two of my dog's nails were cut severely short- perhaps more than half of its original length. The groomer told me she cut the quick because her nails were very overgrown (which is true, she hates nail cuts) but now I realize it was just a poor excuse for her own mistake. Of course she cut the quick because she took off half the nail!!! Not to mention, one of the nails was white so how she managed to cut the quick I have no idea. What is most upsetting is not only is this the second time that this has happened here (by different people but the first time she owned up to her mistake right away) but that there was no accountability and the groomer was trying to brush it off by saying the quick was overgrown. If you cut any dog's nails by that much the quick will bleed and you are the professional. Needless to say, I'm really appreciative that she was able to squeeze us in before our move but it was a traumatic and painful experience that my dog could have done without. Shame on you.

Checked out this shop on my way home tonight, and it’s so cute! I love all the bandanas and the bulk treats. The person working was so kind and gave my puppy treats and love! I’m not usually in the Seattle area, but if I ever make it that way I’ll make sure to stop in again. :)

This place is wonderful. Excellent service, they genuinely care and Teak always feels great after. Free parking nearby, easy scheduling, great people, corgi shop dog and they have great products in the store. Only place I’ll be taking her.

I love this place! I'm new to the area and my dog is curious. I remember wondering how or where u could go to get my dog supplies since PetCo is almost a 40 min bus ride to Northgate. But its become a ritual to take a morning walk and my puppers gets so excited knowing he's going to get a treat. The people here are so lovely and answer my questions when I'm not sure.

Really great local pet shop! The employees are so friendly and helpful, they always fawn over my dog when we come in and spoil him with treats. The prices are very reasonable. There could be a little more selection in some categories but they are also willing to order things for you if it's not in the store, which is wonderful.

Wonderful employees, great variety of healthy and local treats, and they now offer grooming services! I just took my 4 year old pup to get groomed and professionally de-shedded. The staff was incredibly thorough in asking about any sensitivities or fear aggressions he may have. My pup has never been professionally groomed before so I love that I can take him someplace that takes the time to make sure he feels comfortable, will give him 1 on 1 attention, and make him feel like he is getting spoiled versus enduring something. My dog looks ( and smells) absolutely amazing and was prancing when I can to pick him up.

All of the staff is very knowledgeable about their products and very helpful in finding the right product. I stopped by to get hair ball medicine and the cashier casually inquired more about the situation. When I mention my cat was acting like she was having a hairball, but rarely anything came up. She suggested having her envaluated for feline asthma. Sure enough my poor cat did in fact have feline asthma. When I return to try a new dust free litter the staff was very helpful in explaining the various options available and their personal experiences with them.

My pup and I had a really great time in Health Mutt. I was assisted by a really helpful lady who was able to point me in the right direction. There were a lot of Kong branded toys and lots of treats. My dog even helped pick out her new favorite toy.
