I'm from out of town and wasn't sure what to expect from Dockside. I've been to some cannabis stores before but this place felt friendly, open and non intimidating. I love there were windows and a lot of natural light creating a very positive vibe. Not your grandma's basement lol. It's big and airy (which I especially appreciate with covid happening). The staff was super knowledgeable and helpful. I especially appreciate the fact that they have an ATM with NO FEES! It was cool to learn about the different types of weed and the history of the plant cuz there's a dang cannabis museum in this place too! Really it has it all and if you haven't been yet then you need to GO!

It’s a good thing this place gets knocked over so frequently — they deserve it.Dockside is a great example of the cannabis industry not having much to offer you. Whether it’s an unimpressive menu, low wages, or catty and rude staff, this place has it all.Savannah is very unprofessional. Loves to give lip service about “terpenes and their effects” to try to sound smart, but has never worked in a garden a day in her life. Probably never set foot in a trim room, and doesn’t have a true connection with the plant. She told me she passed out once after ingesting a 10mg edible; that should tell you all you need to know.From a business standpoint, theres never any traffic in here. There are no signs of growth, and in capitalism, when a business isn’t growing, it’s dying.My personal recommendation: do not shop here. These people have no idea what it’s all about. The cannabis culture is OUR culture, these people are culture vultures.Edit: Your response is silly, everything I said is true. Thanks again for wasting my time!

Budtenders' recommendations are on point. I tell them what I'm looking for and they pick the perfect selection every time. Great team!Product is high quality and well-priced.They also display a Cannabis Museum in the shop featuring tools and items from the Medical Marijuana Era of Washington State.

Was in Seattle for Halloween weekend from Ohio and was able to get to go to dockside and I have to say it was a great experience and the people were very helpful and genuinely great people. I hope to return again next year and will definitely came back and try something new. Thank you for the hospitality.

Keep the package no matter what you buy, they won't replace faulty products with receipt without the package and they do tell you that when you purchase. I just never had a problem until after so many purchases with zero issues I completely forgot 🍀

Not real happy about the wait time for registering my medical, hardly worth the measly 12% discount... bought 4 types of medicine , 2 were sub par, one was moldy and one was half decent. Problem with these trendy spendy shops is no one knows about the herb they are selling,Other problem is you can not smell or taste anything...all a big gamble... missing the dispensaries!!!! Also, they kicked my friend out that produced his ID and proved he was 44 but his ID was expired. Arghhhh got your medical, grow your own is my advice ! Or move to Colorado 🙂🐝💨💨💨

Amazing Staff with a great selection of products. It’s our go to spot after moving to the area, and they always hook it up/give great recommendations every visit.I hope they add card readers for digital currencies/cards instead ATMs in the near future.

When you walk in, the place has a wide open area to look closely at many of the products that they offer. They have discounted products which are available at one of the listed registers, as well as an extremely knowledgeable staff. I’m a longtime smoker, & was impressed by their ability to describe the effects of some of the concentrates I was asking about. I’ve been to dispensaries in four different states over the last four years, and these guys are definitely top-notch. The product they offer, the customer service, and their willingness to help you find what you need is outstanding. They also helped me fix an issue with a cartridge that I bought. They didn’t technically have to, but did anyways. Awesome customer service, folks!

Upon entering I was at awwwww for words. Like a fat kid at a candy shop. Before even starting to look around I was greeted by friendly staff and asked for my ID. Once my ID was checked I started looking at all the items and was very excited again because I never been in a place like this before. Not a bad thing it's just a place I don't care to much for.

I was an early card holder and have been to many dispensaries in many states and after years of being a consumer, I can honestly say Docksides are the best dispensaries I have ever gone to on a regular basis. I have frequent a couple of their locations and when I do I always see familiar faces which I think speaks so highly in the retail trade. They go out of their way to provide superior customers service, great recommendations(Forbidden Fruit will knock your socks off) and the stores are beautiful galleries to please the frequent shopper as well as the novice that will be right at home. A place I will always grateful support. .

I absolutely love this shop! It was the ONLY shop that I would go to 😃 I miss it dearly since moving to Missouri 💔 The staff was super awesome, and the products and selection are outstanding!! Plus, their rewards saved me quite a bit of money, as I was a regular customer there 😃 Sure do miss that place, although I still love to look at their menu online from time to time and dream, lol 😃 Thank you SO much everyone, I miss you!!

Absolutely love the way this place is laid out! I hate going into a weed store and stepping up to the bar to make the employee wait on me while I "umm... ahh..." trying to figure out what I want to try, and then have to ask for pricing. Dockside has a big wall of ALL bud WITH pricing AND a mood scale that shows you which side of the energetic/sedative scale the strain is on! Then you just go up and tell them what you want. I never want to shop for cannabis any other way.

Additionally, Alex is kind, thoughtful, really fun to talk with and takes cannabis consultation services to a new level.After asking me a series of fact-finding questions, and sharing his experiences and knowledge of treatment-oriented cannabis solutions, I now have a range of effective products that help me deal with overwhelming anxiety and related issues.Of course, I deeply appreciate all of the helpful & friendly faces, I love the four-legged staff members (woof!) and the incredible, curated selection of products. I always buy from Dockside in SODO. I love their selection (I usually buy flower, sometimes edibles) and have never been disappointed. Easy parking too, which is always a win in my book. I’ve had bad experiences at dispensaries as well as good ones, and Dockside SODO is definitely my favorite (tied with Kush21 in Burien). The online orders are ready so fast even Jimmy Johns is put to shame. Not to be dramatic, but I would rather light myself on fire than have to go anywhere else.

LOVE the budtenders and the vibe of this dispensary. The budtenders are the most informed and helpful I’ve ever met. They truly care about their role and the service they offer to everyone who walks in the door. The budtender I worked with is Cori (I hope I spelled that correctly!) and weeks after my meeting her I still think about her kindness and attention to my inquiries. 100% recommend.

Speaking as a tourist with little to no recent knowledge on THC, I felt instantly welcomed. I asked at least 20 different questions and not once was there a hint of impatience from any of the workers. Genuinely pleasant experience, I left knowing more on the subject and with some quality product for a reasonably low price. Highly recommend for first time out of staters like myself 👍
