Me and My Son stopped in after Trader Joe’s. I love that they carry a nice selection of vegan foods! Little cheaper than the same vegan items other stores near by carry, little lower in price on some items! Awesome to walk the extra 6 blocks. They carry a nice selection of vegan foods in their fresh deli case which was awesome too! Loved the vegan macaroni salad.

Best grocery store in the city. Fresh produce. Best organic products. Best meat section and fresh eggs. Amazing coffee and deli with a wide selection. There is a small membership fee that can be broken up. I think it's 100, but it's absolutely worth it.

This coop is is the only one in Seattle area that has a great selection. It's worth traveling from anywhere in northwest Washington if you are a healthy humanitarian organic fan tree lover like me. The hot bar might not be fully organic fwy. Interesting coffee choices.

This was my first time in. Great products. The tone in this store is so much different than Safeway. Everyone was so happy here. I didn't get any snide remarks for my questions. Employees were eager, chipper, and swift to assist. I'll be doing most of my shopping here from now on. I like to support jobs that create happy employees. Also, they accept fresh bucks.

This store has a good variety of sustainable products, from personal care to food. Moreover, their bulk section is great. However, a few things are overpriced like a few vegetables, meat, cashew etc. But great for legumes, grains, spices & coffee. I get my Indian spices from this store.

Nice produce but bossy staff. We spent almost $100 and they were upset and made our teenage daughter leave bc she had no shoes but socks bc her shoe broke. They insisted twice. So we went outside only to be encircled by yellow jackets when we tried to eat our purchased meals. We will not be back. Garbage was way overloaded and attracted the yellow jackets too.

a little expensive for everything organic. I got a few things like raw milk and glass jar toothpaste. will follow up for in-depth review. but this place definitely has all the right vibes

A very unique store with endless potential. The mgmt has come off as rude/fickle on more than one occasion. Not the best place for meats - especially if you’re buying higher quantities. That said, a lot of really cool unique odds & ends! Be prepared for high prices.

This store rocks! They have a ton of allergen friendly and vegan options, helpful employees, and high quality prepared foods. Dairy Free Pro tip:They sell Kite Hill Almond Milk yogurt & cream cheese and it's delicious.

Central Co-op is a great place to shop. The employees are very friendly and helpful. It has a great environment and good prices. It's a go to location for groceries.

Heathy food, grass roots feel, quality foods of all kinds. Excellent service. This is my favorite grocery store.

I expected to pay more for higher-quality produce. Instead I paid more for similar-quality produce. If the Co-Op's policies on sustainably, sourcing local, and paying farmers fairly are true then that's great and a reason to shop here, but besides the societal impact of those policies it's just an overpriced grocery store.

This place has piss poor service, some hot food items like their chicken breasts has been under cooked, they take their time placing food thats empty and have them refilled in a untimely manner, then they make you wait several minutes of your precious time replacing food thats empty, it's just a hot mess and I don't know how they stay in business with such practices it's a damn shame, avoid going there

I just relocated to Seattle from the East Coast; I’ve stayed at so many hotels, been to so many coffee shops, and food stores. I have food allergies galore, that just appeared in my 40’. This store is AMAZING! From the customer service, to the food, and even their drip coffee; it’s all outstanding!! I had no problem finding help, they have a selection beyond my dreams including all my allergies. This place is a complete delight, employees, management, stock, cleanliness, A+ to all! I was having such a bad day and no exaggeration, this beautiful spot completely changed my day to a wonderful one. I want to mention, people talk about expensive, and I thought the prices were extremely reasonable; if you’re looking for quality, I promise you will get it here!! Thank you Co-op…. Finally excellent coffee, a company that stands behind their words, and customer service that is impeccable, and truly lost in this world; thank you for showing me it’s not!!!! A+

They have chapchae, and other things to eat with it, plus a microwave and a hand washing sink. Also, paper cups for hot water. And bulk chocolate covered peanut butter malt balls.

Great customer service. This store reminds me of an upscale Trader Joe’s and Grocery Outlet, but not as bougie as Whole Paycheck (Whole Foods).Excellent customer service! They are very helpful and down to earth.Great selection of food and beverages!

We travel, so we visit the bulk foods the final week. That way, we get just the right amount of rolled oats, coffee, and victuals to finish on the day we catch our next bus.

Better prices and selection than Safeway, larger store than Trader Joe's so people usually go to both, bulk section has so many good options for cooking.

After my initial skepticism, I've come to like this grocery store quite a lot. (Conflict-of-interest disclosure: I'm a member.)The produce is excellent. The bread selection, both the daily and the plastic-wrapped or sliced kind, rivals what I was able to find at the long-extinct Nature's in Portland in the '90s. The ice-cream options (dairy-free and dairyful) are all delicious. (Well, I've tried most, not all.) There's a brand of miso soup that's consistently mind-blowing. And the other day I counted 11 varieties of pectin-free and gelatin-free plain yogurt, a few of which I first tasted here. (As a comparison, while I was on vacation in New York, Massachusetts, and Maine for three weeks this past summer, we spent most of a day, driving from town to town, and found only one. (No wonder so few Turkish people, percentage-wise, whose US experience is the East Coast, stay.)Also, the magazine selection is pretty decent. That is, it's very good in terms of the political, economic, and socio-political variety and maybe relatively limited but well-curated for the arts (Maggot Brain, New Noise, Hi Fructose, Adbusters, and a few others). I would appreciate a little more science content than a psychology title or two, and less woo, but nobody's perfect. (Feel free to fill in the ambiguous [grammatical] subject either way. As my views change, both meanings are becoming valid.)

You can trust that they won’t carry GMO or super processed foods here. They hold high quality standards in the produce & bulk sections and have always been my go-to for spices & teas. You can find speciality items as well as local goods here & I really appreciate their bulk sections. It’s hard to find any stores these days with bulk spices, grains, flours etc and it really makes a difference. <3 love this co-op thank you for all you do! We moved out of the city and will go out of our way to stop in here when we drive through because of the promised quality

Great food and decent especially for Capitol Hill! I must strictly go here just for their salmon because it is super fresh and always really good. The smoking fresh uncooked salmon are absolutely to die for Love it I can't get enough

I’ve never met such miserable people in my life. For a community to be about health and wellness, you all have the worst, most entitled attitudes I’ve ever had the displeasure of encountering. Your customer service skills are lacking in every way possible to the point where I get so focused on leaving and forget half the things I went in there for.

This store has the best selection of coffee beans I've seen in the city. Every local roastery, with very recent roast dates. Elm, Slate, Bluebeard, Vachon... The list goes on. I always get my coffee here!

Good bulk selection. Good coffee selection. As expensive as you would imagine a co-op to be. Great parking.Edit: on a staff recommendation I bought this chapstick, I've only seen it here and it's the best chapstick I've ever had!

A neighborhood gem - the freshest, most in-season and unique produce, an awesome selection of products, a great place to pick up a little hostess gift, the best deli selection of really high-quality foods, and very kind staff. Membership coupons are great, so sign up!
