Visited for breakfast and tea. Great space located at Capitol Hill. Very clean, friendly staff, great quality food.I ordered breakfast sandwich which was soft and warm with tea!It’s also good cafe to catch up with friends, read books, work on homeworks. Got nice tables!The door is always open to welcome people so indoor is a bit chilly. Other than that, it’s great! Definitely will visit again!

Great, down to earth, vibes. Super friendly service. There are plenty of tables inside and I get the impression it would be a great place to both set up a laptop to work, or have a conversation with a date or a friend. I’m really sensitive to noise level, and don’t love it a cafe it too quiet or too loud, but this one is just right! The peppermint mocha was really delicious.

I love this place! The coffee is delicious and the service is so fast and friendly. My only complaint is that the cool white LED bulbs take away from the cozy space. It would be so much more inviting with warmer temperature lights. I know this sounds absurd, but I think it would make a HUGE difference! Right now it looks like the emergency backup lights are on.

BE CAREFUL of one random step as you exit the front door.Got the mocha（hot) and one iced. Overall the place is less sweet than Starbucks and Mercury coffee but still on the sweeter side. The drinks here are sweeter than woods coffee.For food which I haven't try, they offer pastries, sandwiches and omelettes.Place has wifi ( have to ask the barista for it). there are outlets around the shop with a variety of seating options.Parking in the area is all street and is tricky since lots of apartments and homes with no parking.one gender neutral bathroom.

This shop is wonderful! For I myself don’t know how to order coffee they always make what I request without making me feel like a dope for not knowing what is what. The location is prime for my weekly meeting with friends. Pet friendly 🙀🐶🐶! Music is very chill and usually remixes of great songs to fit a coffee shop mentality. The only thing I don’t like is that the bathroom is for customers only which has only inconvenienced me once. Thank you Bequest for being the best!

I had a great experience at this coffeeshop! Everyone was so friendly, there is lots of seating and a great menu to choose from with snack and lunch options. Menu is really friendly for those who have nut allergies as well. I got the London Fog and chocolate croissant- 10/10!

The staff are top notch - always welcoming, friendly, and know how to prepare a delicious cup of coffee and/or a bite to eat.I have the opportunity to drop in 3-4 times a week so I see and feel the relaxed atmosphere even though it may be a busy time, all is taken in stride and quality is never compromised.The coffee is not only delicious but organic and fair-trade which is a big plus for all of us, thanks Bequest for providing a superior product and atmosphere.

I'm a huge fan of their Mill Creek place, so I had to come to support the opening of their new location. The food and drink are just as delicious as ever! Buttery flaky pastry and homemade flavors for your coffee or tea... YUM!The atmosphere is gorgeous too— perfect for work or for socializing. They pulled out all the stops, and it shows. Can't recommend Bequest enough!

I've stopped in twice since Bequest opened in Capitol Hill. The staff is very nice, and the space is great with plenty of natural light and seating. The quality of the drinks is just not up to Seattle's high standards. There are plenty of places in the area to get a proper cappuccino, and I was hoping Bequest would add one more to that list, but they really need to work on dialing in the quality of standard drinks. They post some beautiful looking drinks on their Instagram, so perhaps they just haven't focused on the new Capitol Hill location.Unfortunately their house made pastries can't compete with the good bakeries in the area. The banana bread was great, but their laminated doughs are underwhelming, and frankly all look underbaked.

The pastries look amazing and will have to return try them all. Tried one of their specialty drinks called the joy this morning I think of an almond Joy as a coffee drink.Really glad to have a coffee shop back in the space!

I walked in just at opening and was greeted kindly. I got my coffee and a Nutella pastry, which was delicious!I wish they opened just a smidge earlier because I have to be at work down the hill at 7, so I chose to be a little late that day, but tbh it was worth it. Seems like it would be a nice spot to work from for a little while.

Seriously AND consistently good decaf! For how well Seattle does coffee, good decaf can be a bit of a unicorn. For those who stay away from hard caffeine but still care about coffee, this has been a delightful discovery and is currently my go to spot!

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. There’s a nice menu with several vegan and gluten free options, as well as vegan/GF baked goods. The coffee is also great - smooth and delicious with several non-dairy milk options.
