This is the most poorly managed grocery store I have ever had the misfortune to live near.Out of staples like heavy cream constantly. Store layout is hot garbage and the ask Alexa stations only make it worse. Produce is low quality and unappealing. On top of all of this they seem to have trouble keeping staff on board. Wonder why that might be.I recommend forgetting this store exists. I'll be going to qfc for daily needs and pcc for their excellent quality produce.

I love this place! Blown away at how easy shopping is here. A lot of the prices are near Grocery Outlet prices too. Parking is free too. If you haven’t been here before… You sign in with your Amazon account. There are sensors and cameras in the cart. You place your items into the cart and walk out. No waiting for days in checkout lines. You also see your real time total on the shopping carts interface screen. The staff is super friendly too.

If you've never shopped at an Amazon Fresh, you have to come here. Unlike the hustle and bustle of other grocery stores, this place is fully stocked, has amazing customer service, and always has a chill environment. If you have a question, they will always help you out. You do get discounts for having a prime membership. However, you don't need one or an Amazon account to shop here. Parking is free for 1 hour while shopping and you don't need to validate.

In the heart of Central District where the Red Apple used to be. I thought Amazon Fresh did an excellent job laying out and design this location. Lots of options and a wonderful deli section with a fresh salad bar. They have two options for check-out. One is a traditional way and the other is with the new technology where you pay via your apps in the fancy smart cart. I will do my weekly grocery shopping here from now on.

A few of the employees who are at the checkout saved this store from the ugly one star rating. Pros: they do take cash. On the rare occasion I don’t have my wallet and have a few dollars in my pocket, they take it. The few checkout staff are friendly fly and will ring up coupons if you haven’t handed ones to them. It is close to my apt. Our dog loves the duck treats they sell for $20 (6 lb bag). They do offer organic varieties or products. You can return or pick up Amazon purchases from online. They give you a coupon when you do. Cons: as a business prime member you don’t receive prime benefits and you must buy a personal prime membership to save the Pennies and dollars when items are on sale. The stock isn’t always consistent and items you may want to buy common in other stores might not be on the shelf. They do offer free parking for first hr. Although after being there 15 mins (similar to other reviews) the gate didn’t work and I was told the gate would open with an IOU attached. I complained the gate eventually opened and they still took my info. I will not park there and do avoid going to that store whenever possible. Summary, if you’re going to buy from a mega store brand like Amazon, yes it’s a mega brand like Walmart, etc and not your local Seattle home brand market, shop at QFC (a Kroger company) the people are just as nice and the prices are sometimes always lower with more a choice of options.

Every time I go, they have less of the things I buy regularly. Over the last few months they have stopped selling spinach, parsley, bok choy, cilantro, jalapeños, and organic baby carrots. Not just out of stock because they haven't had any of it for months (and no empty space where they would be).But there are plenty of empty shelves every time I go of things they do normally sell. Most of the time, the yogurt section is half empty. They can't even keep their own Aplenty brand stocked. There are large sections of empty shelves everywhere, not just single products. I have to go to a different store now just to get basic items that they discontinued or didn't stock, so this will no longer be my primary grocery store.

Horrible experience at this location. For some reason the gate of the parking garage didn’t work. Instead of just opening it, every car had to stop, realizing it didn’t work, call help, give all their information and finally get out. When 20-30 cars are trying to get out, this takes at least 30 minutes. And being trapped in a parking garage with a screaming 3 month in the car old who is hungry and having no way to fix the situation, is absolutely unacceptable. I’m never coming here again and will reconsider using Amazon in the future.

Clean, friendly workers, fast - no lines. Prices are average range. Products always look fresh. Anything on sale is always low in stock or out (those who shop late in the day). A real highlight, is the team - sincerely friendly!

One really nice employee in the deli saved the experience. Shelves were pretty bare in deli and dairy. Nice sized space, looks great inside. Deli manager ignored me completely for 2-3 minutes while looking forlorn at his laptop screen. He did finally pay attention to another customer who walked up so it was nice to know he was capable of some kind of communication. His customer service was still pretty terrible, the customer asked about an item featured in the ad and he replied that they're having trouble getting any ad items. Thanks guy, not super helpful. Meat and seafood staff seemed very green but nice enough. Deli worker, shorter woman who came over to help me at the counter, was sweet but didn't change gloves then apologized for greasing up the container. Cashier was very smug when I put my reusable bag down, not the best experience so I tried to make small talk with him. Not really into it apparently.Lots of potential once growing pains are over, I'd imagine. I'll go back in a month or so with hopes slightly less high.

This store has poor standards of freshness. I just saw a lot of baked goods which were baked in this store 4 days ago and best before date tomorrow. The price was regular. Is that what's called fresh at this store?

Visited for the first time yesterday. Ordered an item online, but learned it was not available. To be fair, the online listing indicated that the item *might* not be in stock. Ordered anyway and when I got to store found that my item was replaced with another similar item which I declined. Staff happily refunded my card and offered a $5 discount on future purchases. Not only that, the customer service person gave me the replacement item for free. Encounters with store personnel were pleasant and helpful. I plan to return with my wife to really do some comparison shopping.

Many products available in this amazon fresh, they have a quite large ready-to-go food section and the best thing is that it has smart carts so you don't need to go to the checkout to pay, you just use the app

The best selection was prepackaged food but not much else and you could not get the posted prices without having the app on your phone.

Another food market is great for the neighborhood. Good selection of produce and meats. Decent price and have most of the daily essentisls. Loved the automatic checkout system.

Not the most sustainable & healthy food selection , most prices typical. Good for FAST BARCODE SHOPPING WITH NO CHECK OUT.Still prefer Whole Foods/ Amazon Go Grocery and QFC still tops it all for me.- HAVE TO TYPE PLU # FOR ALL PRODUCE ITEMS (DOESN’T READ TINY BARCODES LIKE SOME OTHER GROCERIES DO)- DEAL SELECTION THAT I CAME FOR WAS MOSTLY OUT- elevator was down

Handy location. Easy to order groceries online, then go pick them up from here. Inside it's very spacious. Wide aisles. I like the layout of the store. Service is usually good. Helpful folks at the deli counter. They have a variety of products, but not much local...

Basically a Safeway. The tech in the store to make shopping easier is neat though. I will say that it is nicer than the area Safeways so it's not a total loss. Don't go out of your way to go here if you can go-to Uwajimaya or QFC.

Always super clean and the staff is amazing! But, the stock is inconsistent. Would def recommend ordering for pick up so you know what you’re going to get before going in.

The stores always. The produce is fresh and well stocked. Cashiers are welcoming and friendly they always thank you for coming in and give sticker to children, and help the elderly and disabled with their groceries. The location is excellent and I love the overall set-up and size of the store. It also has a place inside the store where you can pick up and drop off packages from Amazon.

Overall it was a good experience considering I hadn't ever picked up groceries like that before service was great the attendant was very polite very respectful and yeah I have to say overall I would give it a number five next time now that I know exactly what to do then it'll be a lot easier so for anyone any of you out there that have never gone and picked up groceries before especially at that location fyi go to the lowest floor and then it'll be a lot easier for you

The tall white security dude was super nice when I was there. But the short Asian security dude made me very uncomfortable and got in my way of my cart while I was shopping and walked very fast back and forth.

A new and different way to shop with many choices. Found fresh produce and clean and well organized aisles. It's definitely worth trying out at least once.

Great fresh produce & dependably clean conditions are pluses. Major negatives include perpetually out-of-stock sale items (whether it be the first or last day of an advertised sale), with big blank spots on the shelves dependably marking the location of sale items.Certain products (e.g. store brand half-and-half, for example) are nearly always out of stock regardless of price. For the most part, cashier staff are expert at keeping the Seattle freeze alive and well. Overall, a "Meh" experience for me--a nearby competitor will continue to be my mainstay store.

Weird selection and layout. Lots of things are out of stock. No tap pay despite the machines all having it. Got trapped in the parking garage for 30 min trying to leave

After the grand opening, which was nice, they seemingly gave up and never refilled the shelves. So for a few weeks now, only the undesirable stuff is left. Feels like being in a grocery outlet during a zombie apocalypse.

Bring back the old dash carts! If your goal was to make the shopping experience actively bad with the new carts, dear designer, you have succeeded.A once fun shopping excursion is now a game of: "for the love of god please scan the damn item!!!"Barcode scanners are now neutered/weak (and moved only to one side instead of all four corners??? Why!?) and QR code reader for login is comically buried under the handle. For real though, whoever designed the new version of the Dash Cart should reconsider their tech + grocery aspirations. This just ain't it.Dash Carts were the bandaid that covered up this location's lack of inventory. What's the reason to shop here now if the experience now is also lacking?Friction sucks.Fortunately there are 5 other grocery stores within 5 mins of this location with stocked shelves.

Everything you need, one brand pretty much for one thing but overall has what you need within "normal" bounds. Good hot food bar. Good prices.
