Beautiful park. Forest along saltwater beach. There is a stump house as well.

Amazing hike and views. Soooo long and steep though, our kiddos were complaining on the way up, so be warned those with kids. Also no dogs as it's a nature preserve. There is a port a potty just before getting to the beach which was clean.

Such a gorgeous hike through the woods down to a private and serene beach! The trails were neat and well maintained. The port-a-potty near the beach was clean. The hobbit house in the tree stump was super cool! Definitely worth the trip out to spend an afternoon here, highly recommended. We hiked out on the access road, thinking it would be easier for our family with a toddler. It was still quite steep! We'll be better prepared next time when we come back to explore more of the trails.

We went here on a whim a couple weeks ago and what an awesome place! It's on a quiet neighborhood road that ends at the Cove. There is free parking and no fee to enter or explore. Be prepared to hike down to the beach, but it's an easy hike that is marked well. All paths down will lead you do the beach. It was clean and once you get to the beach, it's beautiful. Quiet and serene, it's easy to just sit there or explore the shore for hours.

My first hike since moving to Washington 5 days ago. Very easy hike for advanced hikers. Was a little challenging for me being a beginner at 59 and in good, not excellent shape, managed it well and absolutely loved it. Great for kids with an adult! Looking forward to going back.

All down hill, means all up hill!! We took the trail down & the road back up. It was a wondrous little slice of forest meets beach.

Great local park with lots of short, heavily forrested trails. A quick side trip if you're visiting Scenic Beach State Park and no Discover Pass required! Steep downhill the first 3/4 of a mile to gain beach access, but flat from there.

Great little hike for kids. Spent 3 hours there and took our time. I took my 6 children on this hike age ranges were 19 to 6 yo. BEAUTIFUL diverse trail with lush woods, marshland, creek, bridges, waterfront with shells, stumphouse to climb in, and great for pictures. There are some areas on the path that dropped off on one side and were narrow. We also did this walk right after the rain so the leaves and roots were a little slick going down to the beach. Also the map that is at the beginning says you are here but you are not there, you are at the trailhead lolThe marshy area had bridges for the most part but the path to the stump house is thick clay like mud, my 6 yo needed mud flaps ha ha. Bring boots or tennis shoes you can clean or throw out. We took the service road back up and it is mostly a straight climb but my 6 yo made it most off the way. I would recommend a picnic on the beach before the service road back if you have young ones so they can regroup. Other than that it was an amazing place!

Easy walk down. What goes down must go up. Half mile from parking to the beach. Secluded and quiet. Great swimming spot. Rocks then sand. Wetlands provide cover for birds. Open water for Orca and seals if you are lucky.

The stump house is awesome and the views are incredible. The hike was a bit harder than I thought it would be for a newbie, but overall fun, family day!

Take water. Be aware that it is a long walk for some inexperienced hikers/walkers. There is a rd that makes it easier but still very steep walk for disabled people.

A short hike through a gorgeous park, Guillmont cove is a ways from any highway and I've never found too many people crowding the area. Always quiet and relaxing great for inexperienced hikers an all around great destination.

I love this place, it’s such a hidden gem that has a lot to offer. There are enormous stumps left over from when the area was logged in the late 1800s that you don’t see anywhere else, massive old growth maple trees, and gorgeous views over the Hood Canal. It’s also really cool that there are still apple and pear trees that are still there and mostly growing wild now! The trails are beautiful and well maintained. Also apparently the maple trees here are used in stock photos and on a poster sold at a major department store.

I love love this place! It is only about a 20 minute hike to get down to the water. I hiked it with a 4 year old in our party and she walked the whole thing. The water is a little chilly, but worth it on a hot day. I can hardly wait to go back again!

Loved it. It was a nice little hike with a private scenic view. It also has a treehouse in the park at the end of a trail. I recommend everyone should visit there.

A great short hike with a beautiful setting for a mid-way break. The way back up is a bit steeper than it feels on the way down, bring some water 💧

A really cute little park. There isn't much, but the hike is totally worth it for a peaceful, quiet little spot. Be warned though, it's a long way down, so you have to hike back up.

Really lovely shirt hike through the woods to a beach and a fun hollow tree made into a little house. Great place for kiddos and fun for the hubby and me too.

Beautiful rock beach, relatively short (2 mile round trip), moderate, somewhat steep hike through dense woods. Eagles, seals, beautiful mountain views, and blissful quiet.

Beautiful forest and great views for such a short hike, the length is compensated for by the 300+' change in elevation. No restrooms and a narrow trail means you should probably leave the littles at home. The two year-old was a poor choice on my part.

It was about 1.25-1.5 mile hike to the beach one way. Trails were easily marked, maps were readily available. Decent parking, no discover pass needed. No pets allowed. The beach was very clean with lots of really interesting rocks. If you take the last turn to the left to the "stump house", it is an additional .25mi walk (no elevation). The stump house was really cool. Apparently at one time someone lived inside. I hiked this with my kids. Save your energy, the hike back up will definitely wear you out!

Challenging but rewarding hike. Cool little treehouse as well as water and mountain views with a nice beach. Nearly died walking back up that hill though

Totally worth a trip. Be sure to have good boots though. The trails are extremely wet during the rainy months. Beautiful views of the Olympics.

Great little area to explore. Even with all the rain, mud, and water there were sandbags in place to help you keep your feet as dry as possible. Big thanks to the scout group that helped. Can't wait to go back again.

A do-able hike for smaller human tag-alongs though a good trek back up, be warned! Plenty of clams, oysters, and sea asparagus on the beach if you have your shellfish & seaweed license. Also plenty of evergreen Huckleberry to forage for, in August/September making for nice berry picking breaks to catch your breath as you climb. Great views across the water. May have to check out the beach rental at the bottom..

Nice relaxing Hike. Roughly 2 mile loop to the water and back. Prepare to hike up hill on the way back but nothing too exhausting.

A beautiful walk through the woods. Reminiscent of the Olympic peninsula rainforest, the moss-covered trees, lush surroundings, and well-maintained trails all lend to a great outdoor experience.
