Wow! Wow! WOW!1. The spicy chicken sandwich was amazing! Packed with flavors. I noticed in the pictures the pickles looked homemade and they are. I was brave and asked to try. They were not the typical bread and butter. So I slapped them on the sandwich and I'm so glad I did.2. Ruben Sandwich the kraut was delicious and the corned beef melted in the mouth.The place has character.The staff is friendly.One complaint, the bathroom. While it was clean, there was an overwhelming smell of urine. I feel horrible about this kind of honesty.

Enjoyed Easter brunch. The food was fabulous! Service outstanding. They went out if their way to move us to a booth away from the door when one was available. All the wait staff were so courteous and always checking on you. The chef always comes around to ask you how your food was…such a great touch. We like being able to eat off a menu on Easter as opposed to eating a buffet. Extremely reasonable prices for the quality of the meal you are getting! Just a superb brunch we had!

They were not crazy busy when we went in, asked if we had reservations, and we didn't. They said "go ahead and take this table, we have a about 45 minutes for you" We ordered immediately, and it took 45 minutes to get our meal! We were starving. Would have gone somewhere else if we thought it would take so longAt 25 minutes our waitress came and told us it was ready in a few minutes.. well..as you see it was a while longer. The food was delicious, but the long wait was kind of nuts for the little amount of people in there. Hoping this isn't common. Next time we will make reservations and see.

Where do I begin? The food was absolutely amazing! The best pork belly I've ever had, it melted in my mouth. I had the ramen, it was bursting with flavor. We got dessert as well, a soft sweet lemon meringue cake with almond ice cream.. My boyfriend and I greatly enjoyed the food and service. Our waitress was so sweet. We went this last Sunday.

Every girl's weekend, my friends and I head to Gard, where Chef Chris and his team, including the amazing Sous Chef Selena, create magic in the kitchen. Their warm and welcoming atmosphere makes each visit a joy.During this trip, we loved starting our meal with the delicious pimento dip and mouthwatering empanadas. Chef Chris' pizza and steak are to die for - always cooked to perfection. Sous Chef Selena not only took great care of us but also captured our happy moments with a picture.Gard has become our go-to spot, blending fantastic food, excellent service, and unforgettable memories. Don't miss out on this gem!

We love stopping at the Gard Public house in Royal on our way to Pullman. Its just about 1/2 way and they have good fresh food, nice atmosphere and a nice glass of wine. The only bummer was there isn't really any place outside in the summer months to sit with shade and a spot for the dog, so we had to take the food to go, instead of eating in. You cant leave a dog in the car when its 100 degrees out.

This a genuinely perfect special and delicious spot to eat it was was recommended to me from a a fella out in othello and I were from Moses Lake and was certainly worth the drive. Definitely try out their pork belly, and HUGE Burger!🍔 One of the best burgers I've ever had! From the delicious food, incredible staff, and atmosphere it is well worth a visit 100%.

Never been to Royal City, WA but this place was such a gem! The atmosphere was casual, fun, a great place for all to hang out and have good food! The wait staff was friendly and made all feel welcomed ❤️ The place was clean and so is the bathroom (one spacious). We were there for a late lunch after my grandson’s football game. The pizza was to die for! My husband had the Rueben sandwich, fries and an Arnold Palmer tea and he was very pleased! If I’m ever there again, this will be where you will find me 😊

Really enjoyed this dining experience...the staff, service, & food were all fantastic. We had called ahead to ask about food options & discuss dietary requests, fortunate enough to speak directly with Chef Chris, he excitedly shared options & added a note to our reservation. We shared the Crispy Pork Belly appetizer, folks shared a pizza, my Ramen was so good, and my wife's specially prepared dish was creative & spectacular. Thank you Gard Public House for a great dining experience.

Incredible, professional service. DELICIOUS beet salad, feta ranch, and perfectly cooked burgers. Wonderful wine recommendation. Will make a stop every time we are headed East or West on HWY 26.Kid-friendliness: Very adaptable.

The fish and chips were great, 5 stars. Also got the Ruben, nothing to brag about, a bit dry and very average, but good, 4 stars. Also go desert, the blonde brownie with ice cream. We ordered 3 of them. All were burnt bad! You could see it before biting into them. 1 star, only because the icecream on top was there. Otherwise 0 stars for that desert.

Maybe we got them on a bad day. I see they are hiring for a cook. We ordered the calzone and tacos. The calzone was literally a pizza folded in half with half the toppings. The pulled pork tacos were bland and flavorless. Service really was lacking which was odd since there were only 3 tables. Never was asked how was or would I like a refresh on our drinks. I love to support local businesses and might try again but not sure how it’s a Google review of 4.8.

I absolutely love this place. I was traveling across from western Washington to Idaho and ran into a really bad freezing fog and didn't feel comfortable finishing the drive home. I stopped here with plans to eat dinner and sleep in my car for the night. The people at this establishment were so kind and welcoming! I had amazing food, drinks, ambience, and watched the game and got to know this cute little town a little bit. On top of that, they let me rent the airbnb they had upstairs so I didn't have to sleep in my car! I will stop here every time I travel this way from now on. Keep doing what you're doing guys! This place is great!

A lovely place tucked away in royal city! We were looking for a place to watch the FIFA game on TV and they kindly accommodated us.We had 3 vegetarians out of 6 and they made us potato tacos & Mac and cheese. Both of which were DELICIOUS!! All locally sourced food as well. Would definitely come back.

This was a stop on our way home from a weekend in Pullman. What a great experience! The service was amazing with Yvonne taking great care of us. The food couldn’t be beat. The empanadas were delicious, my husband said his purger was perfect and the meatball sandwich for our son was eaten so quickly no one got a bite. I loved my pizza and the wine was delicious. Great stop!!! Looking forward to it on our next excursion.

Lives up to the HIGH reviews! I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The burger was TOP NOTCH, the fries were perfect, and the sauces clashed extremely well with everything. If I'm ever passing through again, I will go FAR out of the way to come here again!The waitress, Sarah, was helpful and kind.Again this place deserves every star available ✨️ 🙌

This is one of those places where when you taste their food for the first time, you'll think "shut up and take my money."Really surprised by the place though. It is in my top five favorite restaurants for the entire state. I think I'm going to stop here every time I'm passing through Royal City.
