I would recommend never staying here! Prices are way too high they charge you for the first night stay up front which is non refundable and if you cant make it you lose out on over $100 the restaurant and bar are closed and only certain cabins are allowed to be cooked in so if you don't stay in those you need to pay $10 per person for a sack lunch also if you want their breakfast you need to give a 24 hour notice to them and also pay $10 per person to eat ridiculous and unprofessional also speaking of unprofessional in my experience the manager Kevin is very rude and treats his employees horribly yelling at them telling them to go home because they made a small mistake writing them up for the smallest things which isn't their faults at all one employee who i have been told has worked there for awhile has been very sweet and making sure everything is taken care of thank you to the lovely woman who works so hard and unfortunately gets treated badly for no reason keep your head up the future is bright in my closing statement i highly suggest traveling to the next resort or even a hotel and not giving the greedy owner of this place more money.EDIT in response to the owner I'm the one writing the review yes however it does not mean i was the one who made the initial reservation just mainly letting people know who call to make the reservation instead of booking on the website it happens was referred to from a previous person who stayed a couple years ago thought it was as good as i was told it was and unfortunately it wasnt it was disappointing i at least hope you look into your manager and his attitude because i noticed you did not respond to that part and its upsetting that i had to see a good person get treated like that having had experience at a previous job where a boss thought it was okay to treat their employees that way just because they thought they had the power to.

This is a pretty, peaceful and quiet RV park. We were in one of the Forest Court sites, which are immersed in greenery. Amenities (full hook-ups, bathrooms, laundry) work as they should, and the staff is very friendly. And above all, the price of just about 40$ a night is really fair.Great stay on your way to or from North Cascades!

Very disrespectful people.. I was in a really bad car accident when I lived here and they did nothing to help accommodate me.. and when I had a ramp built so I could leave my house they complained.. I lived at this residence for 3 years and had nothing but problems.. come to find out my lease was bonded out of the state of New York yes I still have a copy.. decided to up my rent 2 days befor rent was due then hit me with a late fee when I didn’t pay it.. had numerous outlets get hot and complained only to be told it’s a old trailer😂 and much much more do your self a favor and look or eat else where.. these people will gladly rip you off and then try and make you feel like it’s your fault

We stayed in Cabin 21. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. The cabin was spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. We made our reservation 3 weeks in advance. The staff was helpful and we had no troubles contacting them. We came to do some fishing and had a great stay. Will stay here again when we come back

We stayed at the RV park. The park overall was not busy and we got probably one of the best spots for our size - 43 ft. We had access to the shower house which was clean, good water pressure and HOT water. In our rig the water pressure would be variable at times so we’d recommend using the shower house. Lots of bunnies on the property. They were very flexible with us changing our check in/out dates. Their wifi (they said they just upgraded it) was really good overall with just a few drops. It was about 30 minutes to Diablo lake, 1 hour to maple pass, 1 hour to cascade pass trail

I feel a moral imperative to warn people not to lodge here. Our cabin was more like a shack. The kitchen was not well-equipped, and the stove did not work properly. There was mouse feces on the cutting board when we arrived. There were mouse traps around the outside of the cabin. There was a lot of highway noise. We were not provided with adequate towels, and the "resort" was understaffed. We had to wait almost an hour to get checked in despite arriving after 3pm and meeting the front desk staff in the restaurant. After seeing our cabin, we debated whether to demand a refund or stick it out. The cabin looked nothing like what is on the website. We were deceived. Some cabins seem nice, but ours was in another section and really run down. Many of the cabins seems occupied by full time residents-judging by all the broken down stuff in their front yards. This is your warning- stay away.

Ok, perhaps "resort" is a stretch, but perfectly cute, basic little cabins in a fantastic location for hiking in the North Cascades. Decent restaurant on site and other options just two miles down the road. I wish they had AC bc I'm a terrible sleeper without in the summer, and it was a little challenging to book via email, but it all worked out perfectly and the person emailing and the person who checked me in were incredibly friendly. Pet friendly. Will def stay again next time I'm hiking in the area.

You’re going to have to suspend some of your big city pretenses and trust that this is a nice place to stay! Location in relation to North Cascades can’t be beat. Didn’t make the most of the other on site amenities, but our little cabin was nice, had soap and towels and other comfortable features. WiFi and TV maybe didn’t work perfectly but the price was certainly reasonable, and came across good people working here. Good communication via email and text; they do things a little bit differently but my credit card has not been compromised…yet lol touch some grass and get out into the beauty of the mountains!

Really nice site but some issues with the electric at sites, which we reported to the lovely lady at reception. We did a private wine tasting with her and she was excellent!Hot tub room looked nice as did the gym.

Beautiful place, Pleasant stay. We stayed in a 3 bedroom 2 bath Mobil home with a full kitchen. The rooms were surprisingly big. It was not luxury, but considering we were inside a national park, I didn’t expect a fancy room. After our rafting tour we were soaked and cold. It was so nice to have a hot water shower (water pressure was amazing BTW), and a full kitchen to cook a simple meal. The close by Shell had a decent grocery store. We originally booked the last studio cabin that can hold the 4 of us, later I got a call saying our room had issues and they might need to cancel my reservation. But the staff was kind and tired to find an alternative room, which turned out to be almost a small house. It was beyond my expectation. I might come back if I can get this same room.

Probably the strangest lodging experience I have ever had. The only way I could reach them to book a cabin was by email where I received responses without punctuation or coherence. This should have been a red flag but for some reason I pressed on.My fiancé and I get there and the first thing you notice is that it is much more than a “resort”, it’s smack dab in the middle of a larger residential area. Weird, but not a problem. We get to the front office and there is no one there. Strange. Eventually someone comes up, dressed in pajamas from one of the nearby residences. She was very nice, but didn’t really inspire confidence in the place with her pajamas and lack of ability to process a payment via swiping a card or with cash. She insisted I write my card info down on a piece of paper for her to put in the system, but we eventually come to the conclusion of typing it in then and there. As a side note, there was a man looking to purchase some detergent for laundry and left seemingly frustrated after being told they didn’t know how to ring up the purchase of a tide pod held loosely on the shelf. We get the key, take a look at the cabin and then head out to explore the area. We didn’t notice anything immediately wrong with the cabin, but we didn’t stay longer than a minute. Didn’t feel comfortable leaving our bags in there so kept them in the car. While driving we eventually decide to just return the keys and get the hell out of dodge.Weird day and weirder place.

It was a little tricky to book a stay here via email, but the room was good; plenty of space and a nice kitchenette. Great bathroom. The sheets on the bed were polyester and not the most comfortable, but everything was very clean. There was literally only one restaurant open in town when the onsite Eatery was closed, and it wasn't great. This place has the advantage of being closer to the park than Concrete, though. I enjoyed that streaming services were available on the TV. Some of the amenities weren't open since I was there earlier in the week. Would stay again.

Ok, let me explain this place as much as i can with my limited knowledge. I did not stay in a cabin and cannot rate, there fore the blank rooms stars. First off this is named incorrectly on google compared to the sign out front. There is an old school plastic sign on the frontage road which reads the drive-in eatery in Yellow and black. under it is a wooden white sign with black block spray paint lettering reading glacier peak resort & winery cabins rv's eatery tents. None of these make sense nor do they describe the awesomely unique place this is, more later!First suggestion, to the mostly absentee owner who resides in CA, change your sign to a more visible and telling one. second suggestion, hire more people!, third make Sarah your manager and pay her very well to compensate her for what she is, a caring genius. This place does not offer rv's or tents and i dont think it is a winery. It is a cool place with residents and spaces for rv's and tent camping, many sites offering both options for use. The winery may be explaining that they sell wine and have an old school bar in the back of the property which is only open when there is enough demand. There are spectacular sites across the hwy20 frontage and on the main property, which actually have some waterfront access and views(sprinter and vanlife culture, wink wink). The restaurant is owned and operated together but separate, weird but it works. The employees in this little nirvana are operating the way they know how and what works for them. Due to the fact that there is almost no business sense by the owner and little managerial oversight, the place is surprisingly clean and well maintained, probably nothing scary will be found. There are amazing amenities: a wonderful restaurant serving relatively healthy fast food with great service(Angie and Jennifer , I see you beautiful caring women), with a great cook. there is a rec room with hot tub and exercise equipment, a laundry with coin op machines and a surprisingly clean/organized space, eclectic cabins which seem lovingly cared for and cleaned, and tents/rv/sprinter or vanlife friendly grass /tent sites that can be used any way you see fit. Pricing for the grass sites are an incredible $34.07 for 3 days total . Yes, you read that right, less than what it costs you to stay at a state park for one night, with the ability to stay 3 nights at the same total price! There are residents in some of the cabins and they keep this place up. There is a reason no crime happens here, and they don't need any of those bullcrap automated camera trailers you see popping up in every shopping center parking lot. Create a caring culture and people look out for one another! Get to know some of the residents and you may be pleasantly surprised at how similar we all are in this world. The bar in the back was not frequented by me although i am guessing it is as cool and cared for as the rest of the place, but i did check out the owners amazing classic car collection. With possibly some of the most unique and unexpected vehicles i have seen in a very long time(I am a car buff and almost expert mechanic, so i know what i see).Overall, this place is like the Transformers, more than meets the eye. Give it a chance.PS, if you are the owner and want to discuss my review or findings, I will call and leave a message with my contact info. Feel free to get a hold of me anytime and i will offer my advice. I am a college grad/business owner of many decades and can give whatever help you may want or need! I believe, Sarah disclosed enough about your personal situation to be sensitive yet explaining a lot about what is happening here(seriously , pay Sarah what she is worth and get her some assistance with the office and some well earned time off and a bonus for her duty and diligence).SincerelyNathan

It is of my opinion that the negative reviews of this place are absolutely ridiculous. If people did their research it’s very easy to get a feel of the place from the pictures and descriptions online. It’s very common for the area. For what some people are looking for you will be paying much more like around $300 and up a night. We thought this place was great! We loved coming in the fall, absolutely beautiful. Fishing right across the street. Great hiking. The cabins were cute, tasteful, clean, warm and have everything you need. Staff was nice. The food we ordered was good. Absolutely no problems. We will return and stay longer!

The cabins at Glacier Peak Resort are cozy and perfect for a short stay. Our cabin had everything my husband and I needed- a small kitchen with the essentials (fridge, stove, microwave, utensils, cookware, plates, cups, etc). The bed was incredibly comfortable and was cozy. Our room had a small closet with some hangers for our clothes. The cabin came with a small living and dining area as well to enjoy time together that was very cutely decorated. Plenty of space for two people and even enough for additional people if necessary. We were provided clean towels every day during our stay. The property itself has a gym, hot tub, laundry facilities, a restaurant and bar. The food at the restaurant is amazing (highly recommend the philly or pizza as well as the homemade pies). They have dine in or to go options.Laundry facilities were so useful during our stay. The property is well kept, quiet and within close driving distance to North Cascades National Park as well as the Mt. Baker/Snoqualmie National Forest area. There is a winery next door that I believe is owned by the same management.. overall a very quaint, reasonably priced, perfect place to stay for a getaway, extended vacation or even a night or two. I'd definitely come back time and time again if given the opportunity. Loved this property.

What a pleasant stay and quite frankly a pleasant surprise. The people were as friendly as friendly can be. Ample space for our rig and truck, eatery on-site as well as a bar (different location). Large walk-in showers, hot tub, small work-out and game room area. You can tell this park in undergoing a transformation for the better.A great place to launch for the Cascade National Park. There are also horse riding available here and near by trails. If we are in the area again, we will stay here!

We stayed 2 nights in our RV. Everyone was nice and very accommodating. The grounds and buildings are a bit older and there are quite a few permanent single-wide trailers on the property, but we had a very quiet and pleasant stay. We used the laundry, which had some out of order washers, but the manager let us use the larger housekeeping washer at no charge. We also ate lunch at the Eatery, which is on premises. A bit expensive, but a really good burger and fries. The guys running it were really nice as well. And finally, would recommend their river trails for a walk or to fish….cool property.Three stars because the overall grounds and sites are very basic. It’s no luxury park, but we would certainly come back.

I have been trying to book this place but it is not easy. The only away to book is to do it in email. No invoice is provided, no total amount to be charged given, no receipt, no credit card authorization form...just someone who will not name themselves is emailing from the iphone asking for all our information and the credit card info via text. The person was supposed to call me at a specific time so that I can give the CC info over the phone rather than an unprotected email or text, but they "don't think they called" when I emailed them the day after they said they would. I tried calling them, but the answering machine just directs you back to email.I'm sure the place is lovely and the people are friendly, but this experience and the reviews have led me to book elsewhere.

Perfect little simple cabin for our stay! My boyfriend and I stayed in the DC1 chalet cabin and it was clean, had some basic kitchen essentials included. Two rolls of toilet paper was plenty for us and we were provided some fresh towels half way through our stay. Staff was casual and super friendly, answered any questions we had. We didn’t make it to the Eatery unfortunately, but we did enjoy the neat little game room and hot tub rooms located behind it. We loved walking along the River trail and seeing all the bunnies around the property. Would definitely come stay again!

I was pleasantly surprised. Seeing the property from the road doesn't do the place much justice but when you get past the unmaintained grass and flowerbeds you drive into a nice cozy laid back cabin setting. Though they could use a few more signs to guide you to back to the office. Kwhen I finally found it I had a welcoming experience all around from the staff and owner. Easy check-in and check-out process. Private themed cabins are nice. Very clean and not too crazy expensive. All in all I highly recommend the place and will be going back soon.

As everyone has said, it’s not fancy, but I didn’t notice anything remotely in the area that was, and this place has character and very helpful and friendly staff. We had a private cabin, which was nice, having a shower inside. The shared rain shower sounded cool and I might have used it if I’d had a couple of days, but this was just a quick stop between long days of hiking. It was clean and comfortable, if rustic. The bed was hard but not the worst. There was a TV but it was set up with apps and not all of them were set up or connected to an account.

We stayed in one of the "themed" cabins. Our cabins theme was shabby! I've never stayed in a place that was so run down. The bedroom floor was terribly uneven. We felt like we were climing up hill just to get out of the room. The pillows were old on the bed and had an unpleasant smell. You could not sit on the patio chairs outside because they were so dirty. The only thing going for the place was it had hot water for our showers. I'll remember this place as the worst we've ever stayed at during our vacations.

I stayed here last weekend on the recommendation of a friend who had a good experience under previous ownership. I guess things have changed. The cabins themselves are quite nice (although the property as a whole is rather odd and more of an RV park than a secluded retreat), but I don't have any intention of going back after the service I received.I called about making a reservation for two nights but was greeted with an automated response telling me to send an email to check for availability. I did so and shortly thereafter received an email telling me there was a cabin available for the two nights I wanted. The email requested that I send my credit card information to make a reservation. Since that's not something I'm comfortable doing over email, I asked if I could call and was told that I could. I did so immediately, provided all the necessary info and booked for what I thought was two nights (as indicated by the email and as my girlfriend confirms I said clearly while on the phone). When I show up, however, I'm informed that I only booked for one night and that no other cabins are available for the following night. When I express my disbelief, the person at the counter simply tried to move past that point in the conversation as if it didn't matter, give me my keys, and usher me on to my room. There was no attempt to provide a solution, no apology, not even an acknowledgment that a mistake might have been made. In fact, the person seemed almost inconvenienced by the fact that I was even there.Luckily, I called the Totem Trail Motel down the road, and was greeted with the kindest and most helpful service from a hotel attendant I've ever received, who also had a room available, meaning that I did not have to abruptly cut short my stay in the North Cascades. While the rooms at Totem Trail might not have the cute cabin feel of Glacier Peak, they were clean and functional, worked perfectly for a night of sleep after a long day of hiking, and were a good deal more affordable. Given the far superior service I received there, I have no intention of going back to Glacier Peak, at least not under current ownership.

I actually ate at the restaurant...just passing through to get to the North Cascade National Park. The Philly Cheesesteak was heavenly. Oh my the cinnamon roll was one of the best I have ever had.......trust and believe I have eaten tons. It comes with an optional frosting which mine was served in a to go cup....oh my oh my oh my......it was amazing.....wished I had ordered 12 to fly back home with me.The staff was super nice....the lady preparing the food was kind and the young man with her was friendly. It helps to see smiling faces when traveling. I hate I didn't get their names. The inside is quaint and packed with a rustic vibe. You really can't tell by looking from the outside....no pics because I woofed it all down

When we first turned into the resort, we questioned our choice, but after checking in and seeing our cute cabin, we loved the place. Our bed was very comfortable, and we slept great. Staff was friendly and helpful—especially when I misplaced the room key. We didn’t get to try the restaurant while we were there because it was closed.

Beautiful place to stay. Cozy cabin, serves delicious barbecue ribs, and convenient location about as close as you can get to the North Cascades. The theme cabin had a small kitchen with all the bear basics for cooking, fridge and grill. There was a TV and even usable wifi. We had to text them to get a booking, but it was well worth it! There are tons of cute bunnies hopping too :-)
