With so much competition in the coffee space in our area, no roaster holds a candle to Lashaw Ranch Roasters. Not only are they great at coffee, they've got great customer service, and our community focused. The golden gem down in rockford is the cutest! They value the people in our community & are always willing to help where they can.If youre looking for coffee for retail purposes or just looking to brew the best at home, anything from Lashaw ranch Roasters is perfect. I wish more coffee stands in spokane used them, their product would improve dramatically!

Some people that have probably never even been here are leaving bad reviews for no good reason. I came here while visiting the area on vacation and it was a truly lovely coffee place that contributed to my positive view of Spokane. My husband and I (and yes, we are people of color 🙄) happened to meet the owner and he was very sweet and welcoming and the baristas were very kind as well. There is a good amount of seating & a great atmosphere with vintage/antique coffee tins and things like that decorating the walls. They also have ice cream and we got some on the side with our coffee. Great place. Thanks Gary!

In the heart of Kendal Yards is this eclectic little coffee shop. They offer some of the boldest coffee in Spokane. They have focused on the grind & perfected their roast over the years! Not only do they deliver a solid cold brew but they also serve up the most amazing baked goods. I have recently jumped on the Coffee Flight trend and I was satisfied with every sip.

1st day of a long weekend. Jay surprised me with a morning coffee date at Tom Sawery's Coffee Roasters for a new coffee fad FLIGHTS!!!Thank you my love for a fun relaxing morning!! I had the original flight menu and Jay had the drip coffee variety. If you are in Spokane, WA I highly recommend a trip. Limited goodies but, we had a day old blueberrie scone (asked them to warm it for 10 seconds, BEST AMOUNT 8F TIME FOR OLD PASTRIES) It was delicious 😋

Looking for a great cup of coffee, well you found it at Tom Sawyers Country Coffee. Roasted on the premise they offer a variety of blends including Water Processed Decaf and Organic Blends. Located in beautiful Kendal Yards after enjoying your coffee stroll around and discover shops, wineries and restaurants located next to the Spokane River. Tired of over roasted coffee? Come to Tom’s. They Also do custom grinds here.

This is a great coffee shop. My friends from the bay area load up when they come to visit, but you can buy online too. The coffee is roasted in shop. You can meet the owner, who is kind and knowledgeable, and smell all the different roasts. The cold brew is not to be missed, both as a pour and on nitro. The nitro brews are made per cup, with a system that pulls nitro straight from the air instead of individual canisters. The staff is also very talented. You won't be disappointed if you ask for recommendations of fun drinks. I recommend the undertone 😉 They also have a selection of teas and smoothies for non coffee drinkers, as well as the "Golden Latte," which is a tasty tumeric based drink that is full of awesome antiinflammatory properties! They have a great atmosphere. The shop is SO clean. The patio is great and they have a big garage door that opens to make the shop feel open air. They also have a conference room available, which I plan to utilize in the future! They also just got ice cream, and it is definitely some of the best in town. Do not miss the salted caramel pretzel. They recommend it affogato style, with an espresso shot poured on top. I have been here several times and I love it. I have never had a bad experience.

This establishment is sorely missed here in Spokane. They are wonderful and I amongst others highly recommended them. (May have to take a drive to Rockford.😚☕When they first opened in Spokane..The young ladies serving 15 of us were calm, professional and delightful to work with. The new owner Tom gave us a brief education of the history of the original owner and tips on other coffees.A couple of weeks later I brought in friends to experiencetheir "flights". The coffees were smooth with no bitter bite. We purchase numerous bags of various coffees they packaged at the venue. We felt like long time valued customers. We wish you nothing but positive experiences and many years of continuous success! BRAVO

Tom Swayer use to be a great coffee shop. They were located in Spokane at first then moved. The new owners are rude. Probably from another city and state(not Spokane) they don't care about customers, just profit. There coffee even went down in quality. I miss the old owner. He was wonderful.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but my friends and associates are. So while I can't rate the coffee specifically, I can rate the service and the chai latte I enjoyed, which were both wonderful. The location isn't necessarily convenient, but it is quite charming and the ambiance inside is super cool with lots new and antique roasting and grinding equipment. I'd definitely come back with more coffee-loving friends and family.

A little off the beaten path but definitely worth a visit. The espresso was wonderful and service outstanding. First time wanted to try different blends so purchased sampling offer. 3 half lbs. for reasonable rate. Coffee house smells to give you a sit and relax mood. Sorry I didn't get names but service was tops.

Wonderful place!!! Coffee is great and they roast it on site. The location is a mixture of industrial and commercial with what looks like the bagging and grinding operation on one half of the store and the register and seating on the other half. It has wonderful old coffee brewing and grinding antiques situated around the room to give a very Museum feel to the store. It can get noisy in the shop when the coffee roaster is operating and service can take awhile sometimes. All in all they serve great coffee and I would recommend it to anyone.

Good tasting coffee. Please smells good! Very polite people to talk to. Layout and themes of the place is beyond interesting. Old coffee machine. Sitting is comfortable. Menu is easy to read. Haven't tried fruit drinks yet but I hope to. Possibly my new favorite coffee shop in Spokane.

I love this place! The coffee is some of the best in Spokane and the roasts have been perfected over many years of experience. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and the owners care about their community and staff! Always going to be a favorite in my family.

I have been coming here for a couple of years and enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The product is high quality and costs a bit more but worth the price! I buy the Organic blends for home use. I do miss the old displays of coffee products and equipment that have been taken down, but I guess that is progress??? The "political" dust up was crazy! If politics is an issue about where one shops, you are part of the problem in this country today. Let's all get along!

Hands down best coffee and best local roaster in Spokane. They really know what their doing and couldn’t be anymore friendly. Really won me over when we brought my daughter with us to grab some coffee and the owner offered her some coffee and gave us an impromptu tour of the roaster.

Such a great coffee shop! I saw at least 10 people come in just for their bags of coffee. The owners take time to ask about what you are using your coffee for to give you the best grind consistency. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. A must see!

Awesome coffee in an awesome setting. Don't be fooled by the exterior, which is rather plain. Inside the shop it has a light industrial vibe and is decorated with TONS of vintage coffee paraphernalia like cans, packages, coffee grinders, coffee pots, etc. In addition, the machinery used for their roasting operation is in full view. Best of all, the coffee is terrific and the service very friendly.

This place is great. Amazing staff and amazing coffee. Ignore the 1 star reviews posted around June 17th. They are fake reviews and all done to bully the owner who gave gift cards to law enforcement. We have a sad society who whenever offended tends to belittle those who think different from them...which is why suddenly all these 1 star reviews came up. I plan to keep going here and supporting a small business who does big things for the community. Thank you to all the hard working employees.

Just had a sample of a nitro brew with cinnamon. It was delicious. Great coffee and they know how to make good coffee drinks. They roast right there at the shop. Nice open atmosphere and seating inside and patio seating outside.

I usually prefer the light roast, hipster coffee shops. These guys are a bit more on the dark roast side but they do it really, really well!Drip is good black, espresso is good straight and the bag of Blondie was the best darker roast coffee I’ve brewed (French press and Aero press) in a long time!If you like good coffee but have trouble convincing your S-bux loving friends to try quality coffee, this place bridges the gap beautifully!

Not Covid Friendly - Setting a bad precedent under new ownership for a place with an already bad reputation. I am very frustrated and disappointed in this business. As Spokane county teeters on the edge of regressing back to Phase 2, not one employee was wearing a mask when I came to the shop. When I asked why, the girl at the register evaded my question and just asked what she could get me. As a business under new ownership with a complicated history, I was excited to patron this coffee shop however I think I'll be avoiding it in the future.

I knew something was different when I walked through the door, but I could not figure out what. Then this polite gentleman that had just emptied the roaster, walked over introduced himself as the new owner. No wonder there were people I didn't recognize back in the roasting area, an stamping bags for the beans that had just been roasted.Everything else is still the way it has always been.So the next time you are down by Spokane county courthouse and need a cup of coffee, head to Maple Street located above the Maple Street Bridge corridor, drive to the end of the street and you will find one of the best kept secrets in all of Spokane. Oh, they also have whole bean Blue Mountain Jamaican Coffee that is roasted onsite.Try BMJ coffee and you will understand why it is literally rated the best coffee in the world, and that is no joke.

Tom Sawyer roasts the best coffee in the Inland Northwest. Tom has an amazing selection of coffee and some very creative blends. If you want the worlds best cappuccino then show up when Sarah is working. Best dry cappuccino I've ever had. Love the coffee! Great job you guys.

Met some friends here for the first time despite living so close. Being from Seattle, quality of coffee is really important to me. This coffee was top notch. Impressed with the offerings of some of the best coffees sourced from around the globe. I will be back soon! Thank you!

I went there once some time ago and wont go back. First it's not worth the cost of what they sell. It's one of these inflated price average coffee types of places.I didn't find the atmosphere welcoming, uncomfortable seating, terrible service.Overall the experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. From the Rocket to Indaba to Boots or Boo Radleys, there are far better coffee shops at this price point in Spokane.

Great atmosphere to sit down and do your homework. The Barista was very friendly and she made my coffee very delicious. I always like to try a white chocolate and irish creme latte and it was supurb! i like my coffee to lean more on coffee flavor than artificial syrup flavor and this came out delish. The coffee shop is uniuque with its vintage signs, coffee machines and very cute displays. Also, the aromas of the coffee beans being packaged is something that adds more to your day and might be too distracting while studying but it smells so AMAZING!
