Out of date food and drinks and when confronted, nothing is done about it. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else.

I love this store...Been going here for 3 years and the employee's are just amazing, very helpful and know everything you need to know. The owner's are amazing too....

I've always liked going to the store when going through town. The last Couple times I went there was a lady working behind the counter Should not be working customer service. Yeah I felt like a burden When I asked for some assistance. I tried being extra nice and even asked how her day was going and she again responded with, "uhh ya well I'm here" . It was just all in her tone and how she really made it clear she didn't want to be there and didn't want to ve helping me..I just thought the owners should know.. I have many friends who feel the same abs would hate for them to lose business. I ended up just walking out and didn't get anything. We won't be back if she is still there.

My 'hood convenience store-It's all love at 'The Merc', Doug and the staff are all really good people, friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. Check it out if you haven't been in recently because there are lots of new grocery items to choose from; condiments, baking basics like corn starch, brown sugar,, shortening-so nice to just dip out to the corner store and get back to my baking project without having to go all the way in to Centralia or Oakville, not too mention THE greatest candy selection-rivals any of the big grocery stores, with all the latest cravings in Gummies and sours! Don't forget to check out the full line of vape products as well as hand blown glass and silicone gifts and novelty items ...

The owners are great. Friendly and hard working people. And they have almost anything you would need to get by. Of course the prices on anything other than pop, beer , or junk food are pretty high. But for me the convenience of them being right there in town is well worth a few extra bucks. I would recommend them and I shop there all the time.

Good employees and always have the snacks, beer,smokes, and a assortment of weed pipes and bongs, knifes, assorted other smoking accessories for dabs. Ice cream and candy and jerky that me and the kids always want. Been open forever and is definitely a Rochester landmark.

Okay he has convenience store prices yet comparable to the IGA and chevron. He has been striving to fill the shelves with stock that is needed in Rochester area. Douglas also is very friendly and out going trying to learn the names and win the business of every customer whether local regulars or tourists just passing thru. You won't be disappointed. Also a great selection of vaping supplies, cheap tobacco products for rolling. And a good selection of pipes and paraphernalia!

Do not DIS like it, but the different enployees vari wildly in the overall "pleasent factor"some nice some abrupt, nice for quick beer , smoked salmon, and take a look, smoking needs too! Yeah, it's a "spot" for everybody to visit for "merch" needs
