Tim is a straightforward and honest. I always appreciate him when he sees my animals. He's done a preg check, teeth float, and a gelding for my horses. I had an after hour emergency visit on a Saturday with my filly when she was less than 24 hours old. She required stitching due to a dog attacking her. Anywhere else would have charged over $1,000... not here. He was honest about the prognosis and warned me that one of the wounds may need revisited. He was right and gave it considerable thought for how he'd address it the second time. Again, very honest about the possibility of needing a third visit if the stitching doesn't hold this time around. He remains hopeful that the scar tissue may make for a better outcome if a third attempt is in the cards. I also have a springer spaniel with chronic ear issues. He has really been able to bring him along better than any of the vets who had seen him in the last 6 years.

I give zero stars. You get what you pay for. I took my foster dog there to get Spade. When i got there When we got there, the guy was very rude. Very Aggressive with my dog. He put his leash on her and took R's off. And she was kind of pulling a little bit. So he yanked really hard until she got scared and sat by him. And when we went to pick her up, he did the same thing. But when she got close to us, he yanked on her back and squeezed her back after having surgery and made her yelp, and her tail was tucked between her legs when she left she was terrified. 3 hours later, she's still scared of us now she is now turning her back to us . I have never met a vet that rude and rough with a dog after a surgery. Also he he did not give us any after care . Other than cute she Sutures in 7 to 10 days.

Dr. Tim is outstanding! If I could give him 10 stars I would. His knowledge and the way he explained her situation and care in detail, not just meds or surgery. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Thank you Dr. Tim!

HORRIBLE customer service. The man is extremely rude, and non informative. He catches an attitude very quickly, and make the customer feel stupid. If your planning on making a drive out to this vet, just save yourself the trip.

Our dog was sick and it was very late at night around 5:30 am. We called them and said we were on the way. On the way, our tire went flat. On top of that our dog passed at that moment. We were devastate, and went back home. We forgot to call and cancel the appointment. They called and yelled at us for not calling, as we were trying to explain, they hung up on us. That was a very hectic and sad event and they did not help at all.

I love this guy. He is so cool. I had to take my cat in to get put down. I was balling like a baby (ugly crying, snot, and everything). He was very patient and respectful. He helped me through it. I wanted to go back and be with him while he was put to sleep and he said no.... he said he doesn't want the cats last memories and last feelings to be of me panicking, I don't think any other vet would have said that. He made sure that the cat was the patient and not me. He made sure my baby went peacefully. I respect the hell out of that

Well, my little Riley, has been with me, quite a while! We have traveled back and forth across this great nation, in grand weather, and in the foulest, not fit for man nor beast weather! Anyhow, little guy had a tooth that was keepin' him down. The veterinarian that I frequent put him on antibiotics, 10 days. In a couple days he began to perk up. After the last of the medication, it was buggin' him again. I felt horrible. He just wasn't Riley. I called and explained to the vet. They couldn't take him, and were scheduled out a month! Called another vet I have visited. Same scenario. I called Ritzville Veterinary, on a Friday, and was able to get my little buddy in on Monday! Yup! What a relief. The Dr. and his wife are "real" people, and professional. ALSO, I thought the fee was more than reasonable! I was grateful to have met them. Definately would give them a try.

Our dog of 12 years had a heart attack while we were on vacation going from Mt. Vernon to Metaline Falls (near Ione). Dr. Tim stayed to see him (it was 5 min to closing) and compassionately treated him. The heart meds he prescribed have worked wonders and Toby thinks he's a puppy again!! I have been taking my animals to see Dr. Tim for years. I have moved out of town and I still travel to Ritzville whenever one of my animals needs something. Tim is like Dr. Doolittle. The people in his office are great. The ladies are nice and polite and everytime I call they get my animal in as soon as they can. Even after hours. I want to thank all of you for the care you have shown to me and my many animals. I won't trust any other office to care for my babies.

So, I called today to ask some question on cost and availability for my dog coco. He just started crying about possibly a hurt foot. I couldn't quite tell exactly where the pain was coming from. First I was greeted with a VERY bad attitude, and when I happened to ask what estimate for cost of things, the lady attitude got worse. I also had just heard about Care Credit, so I asked if the took it. And she got really irritated that I asked such a thing. It's not that I don't understand that people have bad days, but with all that's going on in the world today. I have to plan out my finances carefully, and to have such an attitude for me trying to get a ball park on what thing could cost was really not necessary.

Dr.Tim is a very amazing vet! he has fixed both of my cats and is very knowledgeable. I had to bring my female cat in because I noticed an issue with her over sized belly. he did everything he could- blood test, x rays, checked fluids in her belly,,luckily nothing is wrong with her, shes just fat. but I really appreciate his help and his straight fodwardness. if there's a problem, he tells you and he let's you decide what's best after giving his professional opinion. even when I move I'll continue to take my animals there! not to mention my cats loved him and didnt seem nervous at all in his care. thank you so much!

I am a local and have had the same vet for 20yrs but I'm highly thinking about going to a new vet not because he's a not a good vet but because he is, it's the rudeness that your hit with on the other end of the phone. The lady is so rude I choose to write a review.

My dog was attacked and needed medical attention. No one in my area would see him not even our regular vet during regular business hours. We called Ritzville Veterinary and they had the sense of urgency and told us to bring him in. I appreciate them so much. They saved my dogs life!

First off, this is not a facility that is set up well for horses. The parking area was too small to accommodate a large horse trailer and other vehicles. Horses are expected to step up into a concreted pen area that appears to be more set up for cattle. Through a man door, and then into the stocks.I took my horse in for a float, and the vet was unable to do the back portion of his mouth. He said this was due to not having an electric float. His solution to the problem was to 1. Go to another vet or 2. Reach a chisel into his mouth and hit it in hopes of breaking off the tooth. I will be taking my horse to a vet who has the proper tools and is capable for safely completing the job. We were still charged full price for half the work.The vet was overall rude and condescending. I will not be back

Was referred here. 1st time in we were a little late, vet still took time to see pets. Gave all shots and dewormer. My shepard just kept getting thinner. I called a cpl weeks later asking to speak with the vet who had seen him and I was blocked by a lady stating she had a degree as well being very rude as I was very polite. Didnt listen to a word I said and Was very snippy. Still no call back. Very disappointed.
